Lars Andersen: The arrow launcher

We know from historical records that you can shoot a Projectile from the end of an arrow when the arrow is fixed to the string It comes to the end and shoots the projectile forward, and shot with absolute precision Or how about shooting a much larger scarier dart can be shot and hit at quite a distance Something else that we find in history is the shooting of small metal balls Almost anything can be shot from the end of an arrow In fact guys if you run out of arrows you can actually just shoot pens as well Something else that we find historically and very interesting is you can shoot caltrops Actually, very dangerous if you shoot them directly It's much more dangerous though If a company of archers shoot these in front of the enemy for when the enemies try to come to order Interestingly it's also described that you can shoot raw eggs These can be shot quite long distances, and it's good fun However, man has also worked out how to shoot these eggs Dangerously fill it with flammable liquid shoot this at the target Then they would follow up with a flammable Dart This is an historical example of the burning projectile in archery Remember guys do not try these things at home and make sure you have fun with your archery

Here's something I don't say very often: I like this Lars Anderson video. No rambling about "lost arts" or how modern archery has got it all wrong, no shooting pop cans off people's heads, just some interesting trick shooting.

Although I did notice he kept switching between using thumb draw and a mediterranean draw. At 0:47 he draws the bow with his thumb, but then from the other angle (edited to make it look like the same shot) he's clearly using a mediterranean draw. Maybe he uses the thumb draw when posing for the camera, but he uses mediterranean draw when actually shooting?
