average running position for Kyle was twenty four point nine he finished 19th and there is the contact I talked about with that 52-card let's just say when he met with the media after the race Kyle he was not happy [Music] 50 to get it right don't know [Music] killed it [Applause] I'm just here so I don't get fine [Music] based on that you go into a place where you want pasture okay about your chances overall don't care points come in here just here so I don't get fine questions over nor am i good [Music] you heard the references in the mini press conference there to the 52 car the driver of the 52 is Garrett Smith Lee he tweeted this post race held my line two cars got got around I don't are you the emoji yeah I've become an emoji by the way you know who Marshawn Lynch is he doing last night Las Vegas and what he did famously coin the I'm just here so I don't get fined that of course was at the Superbowl okay so like Jamie you spent many many years on the racetrack going around passing lap cars dealing with lap cars what do you think about this whole situation well it sounded like there was a communication issue that they told Kyle Busch the the 53 or the 50 whatever number he was yes he was gonna run the High Line and when you look at the video when Kyle runs in the back of him he actually has the wheels turned to the right because he's gotten loose you know when you commit to the corner especially to a place like Vegas she kind of use those scenes too got her on the track POW was committed to that lane he thought that car was gonna run higher and clearly I didn't run as I mean Kyle had had a terrible night anyway he got into the wall on my five but kind of recovered we thought he was gonna have a good finish and then this happened and then I mean look the whole post race interview I don't know that we should make everybody go do that every single week Kyle Busch doesn't want to be there doing he's had a bad night we know the interviews in the kid and that doesn't do anybody any good at the same time I love it like I mean it's almost like when you drive by a car wreck you like I don't really want to look more it'll look good when the race was over you're like I hope they interview him cuz there's no telling what he's gonna say so I like that I think it's good that we could see his personality yeah the only thing I will say is going there's something going on with Kyle Busch right now and I'm not saying something going on with the 18 team there's just something going on with Kyle Busch I go back when he won the Xfinity Series race at Indy I think the guy that finished fifth or tenth seemed to be more happy than Kyle Busch and the thing that I'm getting a little bit over is is continue to promote you cannot pass with this package he's watching a different race than I'm watching it may be harder to pass I'm not gonna challenge that I've never driven a race car that's why I'm glad Jamie broke you the deal down with the lap car and maybe this package has taken an advantage then he thought he had one time but can't pass his teammate started 24th without of caution drove to the top 10 in stage one one stage two and won the race even after having a bad pit stop a couple of times Joey Logano started 22nd he took the lead by lap 34 Kyle Busch got back on the lead lap at lap 188 after taking the wave around a couple of times and he drove up to the top 10 after restarting outside the top 20 he's watching a different race than I'm watching give me this real quick it makes no sense how distracting though can all of the post race shenanigans be for this race team because ultimately you would think this is the group to beat before the title I don't think it's that big a deal look I mean that team has won a lot of races and they know that expect that with Kyle Busch we know how passionate he is we've seen him get out after winning me Larry said he was excited after went into Indy I mean it look it's just it's kind of what you expect with him and no one's perfect right but what we do know is that every time he gets in that he gives a hundred percent and he's capable of winning the championship and win a lot of races so who cares if he messes up in this post race interview everyone smile [Music]
