Lando Norris harshly criticizes Red Bull: 'They're not as fast as they used to be'.

McLaren driver Lando Norris has delivered a blistering critique of Red Bull claiming that the Austrian team is no longer as dominant as it used to be Norris commented that although Red Bull remains competitive the other teams have closed the Gap significantly this season Red Bull has faced notable challenges including Max verstappen's retirement in Australia and Sergio Perez's retirement at the recent Monaco Grand PR these difficulties have impacted their Championship position with Perez dropping to fourth in the driver's standings Norris highlighted the progress that both Ferrari and McLaren have made this year noting that Red Bull no longer has the outright dominance it showed in previous Seasons I don't think they're suffering that much they weren't winning but Max was 2/10 or so off pole so it's not that he had a bad weekend it's just that Ferrari was very fast and we McLaren were there in the middle like in the last two races Norris commented with four podiums in his first Formula One win this year Norris has made it clear that the increase in competition is noticeable people are closer and that makes them look like they are suffering but the fact is we are faster and Ferrari is faster they are not as fast as they used to be mentioned the British driver Norris also expressed that the presence of new faces at the top is exciting and beneficial for the championship without them suffering still they're not on the podium and that's never happened in the last 2 years I know it's great I mean it's amazing to see a different Podium it's exciting for the championship he concluded the these statements underline the increasing competitiveness in Formula 1 with teams like McLaren and Ferrari closing the Gap to Red Bull promising a more exciting and contested season
