Lana Del Rey: Plastic Surgery (2020)

my channel isn't for everyone it's especially not for people who are super fans of the celebrity I'm talking about I'm gonna give you my raw honest opinion about the procedures I believe that they've had so please keep that in mind before you watch the rest of this video this video is not about exposing any celebrities it's a reaction to the media who says we need to look a certain way but we can't use plastic surgery to get there it's also in response to the frustration we feel when celebrities say they're natural when they've clearly had plastic surgery procedures since celebrities don't want to talk about their plastic surgeries and insist that they're natural I'm gonna help you guys understand what plastic surgery procedures led to them looking so natural because what most people don't understand is that when a celebrity denies any work done they're making their fans feel very insecure about themselves including their younger fans who are very impressionable not everyone who watches these videos will feel inspired to get surgery for many people just knowing that that celebrity had work done to get to what they look like now is enough to silence that critical voice in their head for those of you who decide to go the surgical route I want to arm you with all the knowledge you'll need to make good plastic surgery decisions hey guys my name is Laurie Hill and I do videos about beauty and especially plastic surgery my goal is to show you that beauty is attainable it's also to lift the veil of secrecy surrounding plastic surgery if that sounds good to you please you guys kpop stars are coming a couple of you mentioned that I've mixed up the before-and-after photos in some of my celebrity videos rest assured I'm not going off of just one before and after photo sometimes photos are going to get mixed up I am the writer editor and host of this whole production and I also have a three year old so my life can get a little chaotic I was really surprised when you guys asked for Lana Del Rey because I thought it was common knowledge that she's had some procedures done to her face but from what some of you said you still weren't sure if she's had plastic surgery because she continues to deny it when I first saw Lana Del Rey oh my god her eyes were so hypnotic do you guys see a little bit of Marilyn Monroe when you look at her eyes they're so beautiful Lana Del Rey is stunning whether she's had plastic surgery or not Lana Del Rey started out with beautiful strong bone structure great jawline great chin nice cheekbones and a prominent nose as in my Haley Baldwin video where I talk about my statement that beauty is made and not born where I'm talking about how Hollywood manufactures this perfected beautiful look Lizzie grant was beautiful for the real world but the music business demanded a showstopper so they turned her into Lana Del Rey there are not a lot of photos of Lana Del Rey prior to 2006 so we're gonna have to work with what I could dig up let's start with her brows Lana Del Rey has beautiful highly arched eyebrows I think some of that is due to a Botox brow lift I don't think she had a surgical brow lift but I do think she put Botox into her brows to raise the tails slightly I also think that over the years she's also had Botox to the area around her eyes to diminish any crow's feet now let's look at Lana Del Rey's beautiful eyes let's look at her upper eyelid do you see that her upper eyelid is slightly sunken in and now do you see in this after or later photo that that area has been filled in this can be done with Restylane they injected deep into your eyes now there's nothing wrong with having sunken in eyes I think it's a gorgeous look and I know many beautiful men and women who have that look now in my opinion she also had Restylane injected to the area under her lower eyelids she was starting to get a little sunken in there and I think that sheer emanate that with Restylane now let's go to Lana's nose as I mentioned before Lana has beautiful strong bone structure and with that comes a larger nose [Music] now what I think they did was they gave her a rhinoplasty but they kept pretty much her original nose the hump was just shaved down a bit you still see a hump in the after photos the whole nose just looks whittled down until you get to the tip in my opinion she had work done to her tip if you see in the before her tip was straight and even somewhat pointed down now in the after she definitely has an upturned tip there's something called a foreshortened nose which is a side effect of rhinoplasty which the nose has rotated too much upwards now she does have that but she still looks great in spite of having a slight rhinoplasty flaw and as a testament to a nose isn't that important for facial beauty to fix a foreshortened nose all the plastic surgeon has to do is D rotate that tip to make the nose more straight now let's look at Lana's nose in later years do you see that the space between her upper lip and the base of her nose seems to have gotten smaller now what I think happened was she may have gone in for a rhinoplasty revision and the doctor slightly D rotated her nose now let's talk about Lana's cheeks Lana does not have an angular face in fact she has more of a soft curve to her cheeks now she did have weight loss earlier in her career and she might have gone up and down in weight I think what she may have done was put some fat into her cheeks to compensate for having hollowed out cheeks from weight loss now we come to Lana's famous lips now it's my opinion that she's had them augmented and on closer inspection I think that she's used a permanent lip filler silicon 1000 is a lip filler that's FDA approved for a retinal detachment but it's also sometimes used off-label for acne pit scars this is the substance she may have injected into her lips or she may have Juvederm but my hunch is it's a permanent lip filler and the reason I say that is sometimes silicon 1000 will cause collagen to grow basically out of control so sometimes you'll see her lips looking very uneven now Lana does deny any plastic surgery let me read a statement from her I haven't had anything done at all anyone who's known me will tell you that I'm sorry but I was living in a trailer park for a few years I didn't even have enough money to buy cocoa puffs it's not like I crawled from under the bridge and got surgery I'm quite pouty that's just how I look when I sing okay guys so now we're gonna add up the cost of Lana's procedures Botox brow lifts and Botox around the eyes five hundred dollars Restylane for upper and lower eyes $2,000 rhinoplasty fifteen thousand dollars revision rhinoplasty fifteen thousand dollars and a cheek filler $1500 silicon or Juvederm filler in the lips eight hundred dollars so the total price of Lana Del Rey's procedures thirty-four thousand eight hundred dollars you guys thank you so much for ten thousand subscribers
