Lake Annecy is a DREAM!! (France's Must-See Gem & Europe's Cleanest Lake!)

we made it groovy music for a peaceful beautiful morning in Tennessee we've made it to probably the most iconic place here in anisee very fresh garlic coffee oh I just thought I'd already go jumping again it just feels so good this view is beyond stunning check this out this is the view that you have when you wash dishes you guys you guys [Music] thank you [Music] hi we're Tanner Rissa Willa and Noah silly face we're a little American Family living out our dream of Life abroad and currently called Germany or home we've lived here in this beautiful country for almost two and a half years and have fallen completely in love with Europe we currently live in a small town in Bavaria and although the dialect is strong the views are astonishing [Music] our oldest daughter is integrated into the German kindergarten and has started speaking Deutsch well maybe more to English let's be honest our other daughter Noah was born in our beautiful German home and is the proud owner of a German birth certificate it's the best feeling ever my sister throughout our time here in Europe we've made many new friends I never thought that I would have the experience to talk with someone who lived right next to the wall tasted some incredibly delicious food and had many cultural experiences that have opened our hearts and Minds he's beautiful ukrainians and they wanted to say something thank you guys thank you very much but it hasn't always come easy our adventure abroad has been met with many obstacles and heartbreak however in the end they've only helped this girl follow us on this Epic Journey as we continue to share our experiences as a little traveling family we made it we made it are you so happy you're so happy are you so happy yeah are you so happy definitely we got a good one look at that shade crazy oh it's been a while since we've set up a hammer [Applause] we just got done with a very refreshing swim here in Lake anesee we're excited to be here because well look at this view behind me how can you not be excited to be in a place like this if you watched our latest video we were in Verdon Gorge exploring the Grand Canyon of Europe and from there we drove approximately four and a half hours here to Lake annasy and the drive to get here was filled with Lavender Fields wow an incredible mountains everywhere like seriously we kept driving through like Valley to Valley and there was just more and more mountain ranges to see so we were really surprised to see how many mountain ranges we passed through in just a short amount of time and we were left wanting to spend more time in those areas but of course we knew where we were coming to and what we're going to later on so we had to just keep on going up to this point Francis definitely exceeded expectations we knew that there were a lot of great things to see here but for whatever reason we feel like Switzerland gets kind of like put up on a higher pedestal for some reason like the mountains and we're becoming to realize that they are quite on par in our opinion having been to both they're quite on par with Switzerland and we are definitely definitely ready to explore more of Lake NFC playing all around the lake [Music] foreign [Music] and I just wanted to show the perfect way to do your hair when you're camping without using heat but we'll see if they work I threw this together last night sitting in the tent allergies are still getting the best of me Noah's sitting next to me is this bunny there you go not too shabby not too shabby what do you think we made it close to the city center here in annisty and we noticed that there was a lot of people with like volunteer shirts and like road sign for the triathlon and it looks like they're coming right now so first place guys ideas and from Iowa [Music] groovy music for a peaceful beautiful morning in Tennessee we've made it to probably the most iconic place here in anesee the river splits on both sides of the palace here right now the water levels are kind of low so it doesn't look like it's floating like you can in other pictures we're enjoying the sunshine here it's Sunday morning so there is a farmer's market going on until midday and coincidentally there is a Iron Man going on right now so on the other side we've been passing a lot of cyclists who just got done with the swim and it's still early enough that it's not overcrowded okay jumping real quick for one to be like isn't like anesthe a freaking dream it seriously is and we miss it so much the second thing is we want to briefly tell you about tube buddy tubebuddy is a fun to learn that they do [Music] so we were told to try this this is cheese and uh very friendly she gave me a little piece to try that's really creamy and nice oh really creamy nice fun little sausage really well marveled meat there too oh this one is really nice it's not quite as soft as the other one but this is the Tom peplum I probably said that very wrong but very nice little cheese as well it doesn't has the harder layer on the outside compared it's a little more yellow I love cheese so much very fresh garlic coffee we're gonna try the traditional one this is kind of like an olive hummus so that's the base this is traditional black one but there's tons of different variations really good not as good as the Tomato one that we had it's strong you gotta like olives to like it it's salty fresh let's try some bread let's find some bread okay [Music] traditional nuggets [Music] well I've got to say it's fun to come to annisty when there's a market going on it adds an extra level of energy however it is quite crowded there's a lot of food choices and even like clothing bags a whole different like Artisan crafts available so that's fun a little overwhelming at times it's quite crowded actually we're happy we arrived and we did it's gotten busier with time the old town is where we're at as you'd imagine where most farmers markets are kind of in the center square and it's really beautiful if you've seen our other French video all of the towns are just so picturesque and this one is no different [Music] [Music] all right [Music] there are a lot of people here compared to yesterday but it's beautiful so I understand why there's so many people here so we're just leaving the beach area and there's a couple things I've got to say first off is the water here is some of the cleanest Lake water we've ever seen literally I'm in awe just how clean and beautiful it is oh I just thought I'd already go jump it again it just feels so good it's not too cold but it feels really refreshing especially on a nice summer day like today the second thing I gotta say is that we saw some I what I imagine like locals enjoying the lake and they were eating they were dipping crackers into an olive spread and so I kind of loved because Tanner and I ended up spending 10 euros on that little bit of like the Tomato olive spread it was quite expensive tender told the guy oh we want 100 grams he ended up using his hands and getting some in the bag and he's like oh oops sorry I got 200 grams is that okay of course it was just like yeah that's fine a little bit of a scam there but it seems like it's like a local thing here and a lot of people are using this olive spread just to dip and eat with crackers and it definitely is true as soon as you said like oh it's 200 grams and I was like yeah sure whatever and I was like no why do I keep doing this like I'm usually pretty good like I go in like really good streaks and then other times I have like these moments like today where I'm just like oh it's so fine and then I'm like well I already knew that it was more expensive anyway just because of the market and I just wanted to try some and then I ended up paying twice as much because I don't want it granted it's not like you buy something and it was like 50 Euro for something that should have only been five but it probably should have only been like four or five euro for the amount that we got maybe I'm completely wrong either way we're going to enjoy it not like make a big fuss about it but yeah silly little moments like that where you're like I should have just stuck with what I was gonna say why do I feel like I have to say yes so we just made it here to here to Bakery this one is recommended by someone who's visited this area and she was recommended from this by someone who came previously so it kind of seems like a word of mouth being we've been here for just a couple minutes and there's a lot of people that have come and go so it's got to be good and we knew it was going to be the second we stepped into the store because everything looked so good French people really know how to do their pastries all of their desserts they all just look so beautiful and they're Bakery items looked Divine as well so Willa has a praline brioche and this is like a local bread at least what we were told from the kind gentleman yesterday and the pralines are candied almonds so that's where the pink comes from is that candy area we saw it everywhere in the farmer's market yesterday A lot of people were selling it you can buy it in this size and you can also buy like a bigger bread I took a bite it's a nice sweet bread I mean brioche bread is fairly sweet it's dead do you want to show them what it looks like in the inside it's definitely got a bite it's more dead you can tell there's like a yeast in it and it kind of reminds me of like a roll it's really good okay next we have the Binya which is basically just a donut what's in the inside is it your favorite we've never actually had this in the states these are really popular in New Orleans in Louisiana there's obviously a major French influence there and we've actually we've went through Louisiana but we haven't tried these do you want to show them yours it's so good what oh a lizard yeah we need to find blisters well this is our second full day here in annisty it's been a wonderful time as you've seen we've had a lot of incredible tasty treats and food oh the food scene has been amazing but the views here also don't disappoint yep we're hiking even from the parking lot actually you get a really good view of the lake so on this hike we're excited to see what else we find there's a couple different viewpoints here so we're gonna get started wow wow wow [Music] that is so beautiful yeah I want to go over to swim which one she's ready to go swim this view is beyond stunning actually it's much better than I thought it would be it's like a huge viewing area but enough you hike up to these rocks and then right now all right well we just finished up the hike it was about 45 minutes to an hour round trip for us at our pace and it had an incredible view over the lake sitting down into like a little Chateau and just like where the lake kind of takes a turn the name of the trail was Rock dish here it was pretty much shaded the entire time until you get to the very end and the viewing point there and it's really beautiful and something that we didn't hear today but we recommend if you're interested there is a castle Chateau Menton Saint Bernard that's just over there that you can go and schedule tours inside from the pictures it looks like a pretty interesting place to see but for us today we're going to skip on that and head back to the campsite to go enjoy some more relaxing and swimming we're getting ready for bed I've got some freshly dried hair from the lake so we went swimming for the rest of the afternoon which the lake is definitely the top attraction here and something you've got to do if you're going to come to anisee before we ended we wanted to share with you guys where we stayed for campsite we absolutely recommend this place this campsite offers amazing views of the mountains check this out this is the view something that you have when you wash dishes you guys you guys so if you're lucky enough you can snag a plot with a breathtaking view we didn't make a reservation so we ended up with one closer to the reservation building but it does have its perks too because that's where the washing machines are although we have yet to use them we probably should but you know it's fine also it offers free Wi-Fi which works really well and it's something that we've used very little on this trip so it was nice to be able to catch up on a couple emails and get a few things done on some downtime we absolutely loved our time here in annisty there's so much to do here if you didn't have two little ones we probably would have done some more of the adventures type stuff there's also a Gorge that's not too far away that's worth checking out and we have some really exciting news Tanner and I've been thinking about this for a
