Lady's ATLAS Bunker In New Mexico With $7,000 of Survival Food

people would never know that that little shack leads to an incredible bomb shelter let's go check it out okay so we're at the lady's house in New Mexico has the bunker she actually has a thing on the wall where she shows the entire experience of putting it in the ground and digging it and I'll try to get some of these pictures and edit this in for you guys and then she has this over here on the wall sorry about the reflection but the newspaper only person in America that admits they have a bunker but she's quite proud of it look at that yeah she's been on TV several times she's on forever neighbours so the hat to her bunker is uh is hidden inside this little tool said and this is the only person in America that likes to show her biker to the news and the media so she doesn't mind this but this is a rare opportunity to go see a bunker and you guys always comment about how you should hide the hatch well this guy right here is very smart he's due to government contracts and he knew what he is doing so he's got the the Hat hidden in the floor do you have a cover that covers that too that's it okay so what does this say says my husband needed more space while locked him outside okay we'll go ahead and do it let's open it up okay oh you say you don't have a lock on it right now no okay well that was cool it opens right up all right so how do you turn on the lights and power down there are they okay it's nice and clean look at that you never have to repaint it or nothing no wow so it's still how many years is to spend the ground in three years it looks nice and clean well I'm gonna go down I'm gonna turn the camera off and go down so don't bust my butt okay okay so we're now about 20 feet on the ground here and you got a bunch of stuff stored out here and then you've got the nightclub lights around the door and all these funny signs so yeah okay so you open the door now house is being powered right now you have a solar system and batteries or how you're wired in okay okay oh wow oh and they bifold all right but anyway so she uh so you guys can adapt your your shelter anywhere you want so he has a composting toilet and she's made it really nice inside there she's put up some shelves and she did this on her own well toilet paper roll holder so have you ever noticed the temperature down here it's below freezing out sighs that is what temperatures are staying here like really so it never gets cold or hot it doesn't change see okay and then then there's your shower I bet you've taken some selfies in there okay so then you've got your private bunker in here and they went with camo now this lady I know you guys are saying her face her but she's been on national television and Global Television more time since she can count doing interviews on her bunker so each one's little dressed up and okay that's cool I'm surprised there wasn't a bottle of booze underneath there I like the camera though it looks really good okay might be of the old days of trains okay so Dan keys get you got a secondary door that opens into now this is a 26-foot bunker okay so you've got the living room here and she's got a camouflaged couch and just got some wise food up there it's got that got a good American nice air filtration system got a clock up there that's smart and then I like how you did the blinds to cover your skate cuddle so if you pull the curtains can you pull him oh wow okay so you've got your escape tunnel and you've got food in there okay so you got all your stuff for your animals in there okay alright so that's where the cats respect and then you pop the little curtain here that's a good idea you know government over here he installed the whole thing by yourself so how was the experience putting it in did you have any problems was it fun it was fun because I asked to do heavy rigging for the military yeah it was old hat for me actually Wow some is like hard as concrete didn't it yeah make as hard as concrete yeah so okay and that's where you're probably do snowing need oh wow well look at you you've got Mouse house you got a wise food heater Mills you got a refrigerator and a microwave you got a TV you had to doubt yourself that shelf right there the old fish think I like that fish tank and what's over here I can only guess oh darn it well you sent me a picture one time it was loaded with food well it is them there but okay well there's the baby comes okay well I like the additions he made [Music] $7,000 worth of food what brand wise I [Music] open up the flourish you can see all the room we had down here for storage and I have $7,000 worth of wise food company long-term supply food has four basic food groups eggs and milk and it's all here [Music] okay so anyway so this filter here has wise food and also they got more wise food and more wise food they got some augustson farms who else may read meager your bread baker oh yeah what's down here gut suck for where this is a nice little bunker I mean it's some comfortable you got your rug in here got your thought glasses everything's underneath though most of the game Wow well this is pretty cool so this is called the mudroom guys and they have this one they put in a floor and they put in some more cabinets in here and she calls this the garage she said we have you know we had to do this after they brought down the bugs it was hard yeah and then on the stairs they put a non-skid thread on the tip of the steps and this is galvanized so this will never rust everything we all they bolt is the Nexen little rubber thing right here to protect your head so he spent a lot of pride into her own bunker and guns yeah okay so I'm gonna do quick rocks so you guys you actually have like four rooms in a bunker you have the mudroom which is where you decontaminate you come into the bathroom you have a door here okay you go into the bunk room and that the bunker can be double bunks you have another door across here and then you come into the living room and then this is the main room in this thing look guys I'm 6 foot 3 and you know I got there's some feet something above my you know from the floor to the ceiling there's plenty of room it's not claustrophobic it's roomy it is quiet there's no echo and I know I said that before but being quiet in a bunker having no echo is so nice I mean it's freaky out - there's echoes in a bunker but the corrugated pipe is famous for being very quiet as government used it's been around for like 80 years as bunkers and you can do so much with this thing and it's galvanized it's not gonna rust it's got a 200 year rated shelf life and this bunker was installed very good this nice level flat and we closed the store here so this is a manual crank on this particular air system typically we do the Swiss and air but this one has the American system that's the overpressure blast valve and the current time down here is a quarter till three alright so how was the experience of getting the bunker it was overwhelming at first within once I got you came down your Atlas was so wonderful I mean I can't ask for anything more are you happy well it's good I mean you did a good job it's everybody's dreams I know I'm very proud of it yeah I can tell I mean you've done so much to your own bunker to make it so yeah you got your little table with checkers if Wow and you probably had a few parties down here and watch KVM she was afraid to come down here for it's just claustrophobic so does everyone have their sign bouncing no not really so you got them all differently dressed and I like the camo looks really good I like how you did so guys the things that she did on her own is almost too numerous she did the curtains on her own she did the little door on this bathroom all on her own you put in her own curtain over here she did the curtains over the over the escape tunnel that's all her she actually added an extra shelf right here because that's what this is for a big-screen TV so he added the shelf and put that TV there and she added these two doors right here what else have you done - this bunker that's it so and they put it in nice level but then I said no I'll just take it out there's no ones they were down here so now I just have regular TV ok but they did it themselves the good thing about the culvert shelters you can do it yourself the modular shelters the square ones require so much welding and assembly it requires a company team to come out there so if someone's gonna know where your bunker is but this these people did it themselves with their friends not the normal people because people know about them from TV in the newspaper well they're on the middle of nowhere - so they're not worried about neighbors because they are out in the boonies but
