with Regis and Kelly today from the new film welcome to the Rileys Kristen Stewart's and reaches takes pee-wee Herman on a Time Square big adventure [Applause] from singer/songwriter Jesse McCartney all next alive [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] all right fine so what are we doing today oh yeah here's a terrific young actress I don't know if you had a chance to see her new movie yeah welcome to the Rileys with the james gandolfini it's a compelling story it really is yeah anyway Kristen Stewart will be on [Applause] - and coming up next new group all right here she comes you remember Bella Swan in the Twilight series one turn this actress into the Nico national star please welcome Kristen Stewart you [Applause] you guys really love to keep it chilly you've never seen Kristen show it like this look at her all dressed up it no really look terrific very very nice to see you I took a look at that movie the other night you know welcome to the Rileys boy he yeah she plays a stripper you know meets this guy got defeated can you imagine you're a stripper beater James Gandolfini the whole thing if it scares the hell are those ones where you had to I mean a lot of times you I we have celebrities here they play strippers and so they go to strip clubs and they learn how to dance like a stripper and they take stripping lessons and did you have to do all of that yeah yeah yeah you don't you don't actually end up seeing any of the pole dancing but I did do it for two weeks so was it fun yeah it was fun it hurts a lot actually I had bruises all over my legs I mean I wondered about that when I saw the movie I did see them but I said well we know where do they come from is that the pole yeah now from the dollar bill sweetie anyway you know down in Louisiana Baton Rouge doing the next two episodes of Twilight to watch wildlife movies and this is the film that work that you're here to promote was shot in in New Orleans yes that's right not great place yeah I feel very at home that I I think like mostly tied to this experience on welcome to the Rileys but I've gone back I just said I just shot on the road there and every time I go back it's like I feel like you're at home but something yeah yeah well you doing two in a row then in the same situation same location how long is that going to take what do you think um we shoot for six or seven months I they start shooting in November and then we don't finish until May or something yeah when you do a movie with that that length of time but if you get into the character and you're tough to get out sometimes I would imagine yeah I mean I'm sure by the end of it it's I mean I've never worked on something for that long and mm-hmm I mean the other thing about that that was by the end of movie I usually feel like I don't wanna let it go anyway so this will just be I mean tell me you would be happy to sort of let it go get it out of your system and then then by that time it's time to go promote it it brings it all back again yeah really yeah when you think about it yeah in a completely different way so you end up talking to you know a million different people that you don't know about something that is incredibly close to you and it actually brings up things that you've sort of never but what a hit it was huh which one the one oh yeah yeah like absolutely when is the movie hits of all time Hawks office yeah everybody loved it so uh let's see what else is going on with you we got to take a break and then we'll come back in just a moment that's what's going on [Applause] now she plays this trip of living in New Orleans and she meets a guy and naturally all these guys you know are after one thing but one thing about but this guy isn't his little friend but he's very taken by her because well I don't want to spoil the movie for you but there's a sentimental reason why he's so fond of her when he meets her but what was it like working with James Gandolfini Tony Soprano himself everybody was so intimidated by him so good like yeah ya are the director Jake Scott was like I mean I love the guys he's incredible he told us that basically try to have the dynamic that Mowgli and Baloo have so really sweet yeah yeah so like if you if you imagine him being that and then being intimidated by him it really doesn't really go but you're gonna look at today did you stood right up to him you know Ben your character did there in the movie and your plated well and I thought you should have liked Baloo the bear yeah and not and not scary Tony Soprano did you watch that show The Sopranos I were I mean when it first came out I was like you know it was a lot more like a little girl right um so I I knew him from movies yeah so I didn't have that I wasn't total but I've seen it I've seen it now and I am well it was a different role for him in a different and a different role for you you never played a stripper before or have you just kidding here's a scene from the movie your character and and dog played by a james gandolfini have just had a fight here it is I don't want to talk with you - you can tell of it all the way off the curse words I will I promise okay dammit don't please don't be mad at me I'm not mad at you you're acting like you're mad at me no I'm not acting like I'm mad at you sit down take it easy come here just don't be my neighbor [Applause] welcome to the Rileys you know to sit here with Kristen Stewart and we have over the last couple of years with the movies that she brings us and watch a scene from the movie with an audience this something has grips you doesn't mean it's fine it's just yeah well I can't I tell God well I understand I hate watching myself something grips you you're a terrific actress Kristen thanks for coming hey peewee
