KOENIGSEGG JESKO FIRST DRIVE OF 2024! Hypercar Convoy, Valkyrie, Huayra, Regera

we need to fill up the regera now the fun thing about filling up a regera is that you have to there's no exposed fuel cap on the outside of this car so you have to open the entire rear clam in order to fill it up with fuel as if this car didn't draw enough attention on its own we're in Scotland I came up to Scotland for New Year and there is apparently this is an annual thing there's an annual car event on uh that happens fresh in the New Year in Edinburgh so we thought bring down some of the cars of which I shall share with you shortly starting with this button right here there it goes you have to have this open it's quite surreal at a petrol station uh because the fuel cap is here good juice this definitely deserves the 99 how it happens we are sort of in the middle of the countryside here and it's early morning so there's not too much attention often times when you rock up to anywhere with a com you attention then you open the rear which to the iconic showcase just goes nuts so it is time in the morning I'm so glad there's no one around my personality is still waking [Music] up there's the other one okay while it is absolutely tipping it down right now there is just there an inkling of sunshine trying to burst through the clouds with some luck by the time we reach Edinburgh it might have cleared or at least dried out the thing is in Scotland if you didn't use your cars when it rained well you'd never use your cars at all so here they are and how cool is it that we've got a hirra and two coning SGS that are not garage Queens about to be three coning eggs and a valkyrie all right so let's kick this thing off this is our C boy not a bad way to start the new year let's kick off with the coning eggs the regera you're familiar with and this particular regar you're familiar with as well and if you've been watching the channel over the last few weeks you might be familiar with the UK's first yesco which was delivered by kig London to the UK's largest kig owner who just so happens to be co-owner in kig EG London so you'll be seeing more of this thing now the theatrical theme continues with the way you fuel these things up just like regera how you have to open the entire rear clam the same continues with guco fuel filler cap is here and it becomes a spectacle just to fuel up these things so we've got hirra yesco in chili red we've got the Sky Blue on orange Tang carbon regera we've got the leftand drive pearl white regera and Aston Martin Valkyrie it's the second day of the year this is this is not a bad way to kick things off so we're just doing a quick uh fuel stop before we head down to the event and uh hopefully put some Smiles on some petrol head's faces you know this is not a convoy that anyone expected to turn up here Gary I think us [Music] [Applause] included so this car doesn't have a conventional flywheel so the way that it revs is like a super bike in neutral only it's it's connected to a 00 horsepower v8 so it's a bit daed it's a bit daed wow it's quite a good do isn't it it's quite a good do hello hello good morning how you doing D mess me have Donald about parking so once these guys get you could just go up a we bit and park on the left there's no traffic Wars or anything so up there on the the where the guys are all standing there just pulling to the left you'll get stacked up there see you in a minute thanks bud see you in a sec [Music] there's something really crazy about seeing these cars out in like in the wild in reality they look more of a UFO when they're out on the road around real cars even than they do when they launch or when they are in a showroom they just look nuts look at the sculpture of that it is a wonder that this thing is even road legal it's absolutely incredible that's a cool Shob we've got a photo of a dog and a kid taking a photo of the B over there so what we're doing right now is we're just idling the car because Aston recommend that before you switch it off that this bat is say says there you go goes to full charge before switching it off so that's what we're up to right now Cy that thing's loud you forget how loud that thing is you got you need to wear the headphones you def it's so bunkers this is your first car y are you sure you want me to sign this yes they okay okay brilliant there you go man awesome man thank you it's an honor to be on your first car that's very cool you so much thank you that is awesome I appreciate that cheers spoke slightly too soon uh we so we're here underneath the rail Bridge uh in Edinburgh and historically that's made for some incredible photo shoot opportunities spotters in edur don't care to raiding pretty severely so I'm hoping that we're going to see some pretty cool tags of this car but let me just show you this I mean there's a backdrop how cool is this I think with a spot of Photoshop work we could probably match the red of that bridge with the chilly red of the cigc it's typical that the other side you can just see some blue starting to break through and over here it's still pouring down these guys don't care though it's pretty cool and there's a view being able to bring the chil ready g go down here typically water's like beautifully still for some reason though it just will not stop [Music] raining right good news James Dyer to the rescue so we are in Edinburgh these are now going much further north so we're going to put the yesco and the valkyrie on the trailer with James Dyer now James has basically been our Logistics partner for many years one of the very few people that we actually trust and can able to drive these cars onto very tight trailers so he's very kindly come all the way up here just to support the event but we're still going to drive the rera back which will be fun but first of all let's um let's watch James squirm a bit as he has to put these cars on a tight trailer so come on least favorite car to get on transporter I actually know it that one isn't it it's both of them is it really I tell you what I'll do the Esco you to the valkyrie y that's really honestly you'd Su to the valkyrie would you no way it's not as wide it's not as wide that is true yeah Valkyrie deceptively small well the uh the carbon bits on the yeso yeah they stick out so fast it's all good and it's yeah it's bit too close when it goes on there but so are we going to have to fold in the mirrors uh yeah mirrors will be folded in see Valkyrie doesn't have mirrors it's got little tiny cameras and they're tucked in so close to its profile well we'll uh we give score out of all right well look yes let's thanks yeah so honestly what is quite hard to to convey on camera is how small Val careers it looks pretty wide there I'm going to try and jam this into the same frame look at the difference difference in the size so that's the front end of uh yesco and if I'm quick front end of a valkyrie it's a compact car and what I was talking about with the wing mirrors there aren't any it has cameras for Wing mirrors and they're so close to the overall profile and width of the car that when you're loading it into a trailer it actually helps the only thing is is the visibility out of this is a totally different ball game to the visibility out of the yesco so let's see I don't know if I'm taking smaller car easier to get in or better navigation and visibility to get into the trailer let's see yes go in here okay not so confident now are you no I'm not no I just lo I just filmed the the front end of the yesco and then immediately stepped to the front of The Valkyrie and it is disproportionately larger yeah bet you're regretting your decision now ain't you he's going to make me load both of them anyway I've been doing this 5 years and you're doing a a car a day could be more than that sometimes really yeah yeah draw the busy period we could be doing like five six a day sometimes even more than that are you serious 5 six a day a day in the life of James thinking about your choices I'm mildly freaking [Music] out just trying to work out how to pull the mirrors in you want me to show you then so go into the middle one where the seat controls are that one there yeah yeah and then there should be fold on there fold yeah see that's a professional right there well what can I say right hang on I got to get back up that's good I didn't like that I didn't think you did like you're still shaking now it's a big car it's wide it is very wide in all fairness what you're feeling there is is worse out here all the sensors in here were tripping out like no I'm just staring at your hand going please be right trust me 5 years never had an insurance claim I mean he's not joking look at it that is that is all that is available not even a a hand span tricky this business I think one of the signature features of uh kig is the dihedral doors or should I say the the dihedral Synchro Helix doors one of the perks of these doors is that even when they are fully open they stay so tight to the overall profile of the car and yet even on this when the door is open it's beyond the side profile of the truck itself which gives you an idea of how tight this thing is I need to get back in here now and I can't reach I need to turn it off I got it got it okay one more thing I haven't mentioned is the Kix London number plate not just the fact that it was from Kix EG London but this one koe is the first three initials of The Keg name so that's COA Co ni and this is our kig London plate so we're really excited to be having this car available to us uh to activate with over the coming months so you will be seeing a lot more of this car at shows and events and all sorts of places so stay tuned to the com London Instagram account if you want to get updates as to where this car will be not just plugging him he really really good I know we're having a laugh but um we've been fortunate to deal with lots of Transportation over the years for various different things and James is just the most reliable most down to earth knowledgeable guy which is really important when you're loading and dealing and driving these sorts of cars the nuances that make the difference uh really can't so he's genuinely not paying me to say this I'm I'm just saying it cuz he's a good dude James is one of all six people in the world who knows how to actually start a valkyrie properly took me a while honestly it's it's the wildest process so it's it's effectively three presses of the same button but they have incremental stages of of different status so it's it's like press no tap not press don't press tap wait 30 seconds press red light on the fire extinguish button means it's okay to Prime foot on the brake press and hold turnover good to go yeah enough down to test as you go the other thing is there is no getting around this mate you just have to put your feet look you see all this dirt here that's just part of The Valkyrie thing so the best thing is to get that that out of your way with all of that dirt you do just have to genuinely stand on that seat there hence hence dirt next time I'm bringing me slippers hey you wanted to do the valkyrie I did say you could take it it's like getting it out out of a very Posh bathtub so this is a good start cuz we have full battery here which is great so then you're pressing it one one more time go press it and then up there's red which means it's good to go so if you're foot on break and then press start and then it'll fire the engine separately you ready hey magic magic bridge is so quiet inside there is ludicrously loud I'm not sure that this is going to really I'm just going to put this in [Music] here it's pretty loud in there it's pretty loud I was once told that the stationary sound inside a valkyrie with the doors closed is as loud as a GT3 RS on full chat when it's not moving it's bunkers best of [Music] luck he's showing off now with his door [Music] up okay I suppose I better
