Among the makeup methods that brought Kim Ji-won to her prime, this was definitely the one that changed. Especially for someone like Kim Ji-won, with plump aegyo-sal and well-rising cheekbones you absolutely have to be careful with this. The cheat code for distinct, luxurious, and sophisticated makeup is all included in this. Hello. It's Inbora. Today, I have prepared something that many of you have requested a makeup analysis of "Queen of Tears," Kim Ji-won. Actually, in the makeup methods of actresses Kim Ji-won's makeup has somewhat changed and I just felt it suits her so well and looks beautiful, so I just briefly showed you how to apply makeup by referring to Kim Ji-won's photo. Like this, do you remember? But my fans, really wondered about Kim Ji-won's "Queen of Tears" style of makeup, so I prepared this video because of that. In this video, there are many aspects that you can really apply. So, you can trust me and follow along. Alright, before we start, we need to do this. Who else is going to show you this? I'll show you. Now, before looking into the changed makeup method of Kim Ji-won, who has set the makeup mood at its peak, let me show you some of the differences between the old mood and the current mood. I prepared a variety of photos, ranging from photos from about 2018 to photos from three to four years ago. In fact, just looking at the photos, there's hardly any change in facial features. But the mood has subtly changed. The cheat code for distinct, luxurious, and sophisticated makeup is all included here. Her facial features have definitely become brighter, and even though she didn't add strong color, her makeup has changed a lot with a clear and sophisticated look. Of course, there have been many changes in hair and styling as well, but if we focus primarily on makeup techniques previously, it was somewhat old-fashioned and seemed slightly off-tone as if it wasn't quite fitting like finding the right outfit now, Kim Ji-won has completely transformed into a clear and sophisticated mood. I'll tell you everything about how to find this prime today. First, let's take a closer look at Kim Ji-won's facial features. Her features are quite prominent and clear. You might think, "Isn't it easy to apply makeup when you have clear and beautiful features?" but there are actually quite a few tricky aspects to consider. There are many. The first point is that the method of expressing skin varies depending on the area and facial proportions. Her face shape has a slight angle to the jaw and a broad side area. For faces with prominent temples and defined lines, it's important to cover them to some extent with hair instead of exposing both sides. By styling the hair, using small or side strands to lightly cover one or both sides helps greatly to complement the face shape. But it's not just the hair, makeup is absolutely necessary too. Specifically, it's about expressing the skin. The way the skin is portrayed can make the side spaces appear wider or more swollen. Due to the characteristics of such a face, if you gain a little weight, the face can appear chubby. It's the type where fat tends to accumulate in the deep cheeks. Especially for someone like Kim Ji-won, who has plump aegyo-sal, and a face type where the deep cheeks are prominent, this must absolutely be handled carefully. It's all about the shadows. Due to the aegyo-sal and chubby cheeks, shadows can heavily form on the face, and as the shadows and contrasts in photos deepen, the face might not appear as smooth compared to other types, and it can appear more uneven and prominently accentuated in areas. Therefore, you also need to pay attention to how the skin is portrayed. Of course, the impact of diet cannot be dismissed, but today we are focusing on the contours and shape of facial features, and makeup techniques, so we'll pass over the diet part. For such types, when expressing the skin, it's good to properly define the contours, but also slightly control the facial shine. While controlling unnecessary shine, I recommend using highlighting to enhance the texture. So, the feeling is definitely different when there is a lot of shine compared to matte when a little shine is added. If you are concerned about chubby cheeks or them appearing swollen, I recommend a makeup expression that slightly suppresses the shine. Next, the second point. Of all the makeup methods that brought Kim Ji-won to her prime, this one definitely changed. Specifically the under-eye shadow. She is the type of person whose aegyo-sal are prominent and stand out when she smiles, so if her aegyo-sal are too bright, her eyes can actually look small. Therefore, when doing under-eye makeup, the approach has greatly shifted towards using under-eye shadow makeup. Even if enhancing the aegyo-sal, don't emphasize the under-eye with bright or stark colors, but rather naturally lay down an under-eye shadow and capture the aegyo-sal underneath. Doing this has the advantage of making the eyes appear clearer and larger due to the shadows, and it enhances the dimensionality around the pupils, making the eyes appear rounder and elongated. So, it is a type of makeup that really changes a lot with the under shading rather than the eyelid shading or mascara area. She's one of the actresses. Next is the third change in eyebrows. Due to the nature of her role, she has to give an urbane and sophisticated image, so the role of eyebrows has changed a lot. This is because eyebrows determine the first impression and image. In the past, the eyebrows were thick and close to straight. Her eyebrows aren't very thick. It still doesn't feel thin, but the thickness of her eyebrows is definitely much thinner now. I think they made the arches a little more visible and thinner to give an urban and sophisticated impression. So, the three points that was found on Kim Jiwon's heydays are eyebrow thickness, shape, and color. I will explain these three parts in more detail later during makeup. Now, let’s take a closer look at eye makeup, which is the most important part. For a cold and strong expression with makeup, she tended to use a lot of expression in the under triangle area and around the front of the eyes. Fill the triangular zone up to the corner of the eye to create a slit and add a point using shadow around the outer corner of the eye. So, the center of the under eye is lightly shaded, and the area that leads to the back of the eye is the highlight of the makeup method where the shade has clearly changed. Everyone, if you don't know this point, you will never know the makeup of "Queen of Tears" Kim Jiwon. Now, I divide it down into four parts and will tell you about it gradually. Just explaining this can be very difficult. Let’s start by recommending products that can create Kim Jiwon’s mood with a similar color and how to use them. Let’s do makeup together now. Now, let’s try makeup together. Kim Jiwon has long hair, but I have short hair. From this styling, there might be some differences. So, please be a little understanding on that part. Well, first of all, I have already done the base, but as I showed in the analysis earlier, it's much better to cover up the areas that need to be slightly covered to a certain extent rather than to apply too much shine, and it looks much prettier. I'm using this powder today. Laneige Neo Powder. Apply some using a brush. For a natural glow, lightly cover the area where the side of the nose meets the cheek. It's a good idea to eliminate the shine in the center of the forehead a little more carefully and also on the outer edges like this. But what you need to be careful about here is that it shouldn't have a powdery feel. The light in the front should be just enough to look natural so that it looks voluminous but not stuffy. Now let's take a look at the eyebrows. This product is Skinfood's chocolate eyebrow powder cake gray brown color. There's this brown color. I'll add some brown color and change the overall base color of the eyebrows to a slightly lighter color. If you apply a light base, it's much easier to apply natural color. And then I'm going to do my brows. I'll use Clio's Sharp Saw Simple Brow Pencil in neutral brown color. When shaping, use a slight arch to make it as thin as possible. The point here is that you don't have to try to make too much of the texture or fill the space too tightly. When you just look at it, you get the feeling that it's just filling in some of the empty parts, "but it's a little lacking, right?" Just doing it this much is enough. I'll do it the same way on the other side. Since I laid the foundation with the brow cake earlier, I can get the shape of these eyebrows to some extent just by drawing a really natural line with a pencil. You just need to use it to create a slightly more arched shape. I'm going to do eye makeup, but today's eye makeup and overall makeup look is the makeup that appeared at this press conference. If we try this makeup together, I think you will be able to easily follow along, so I'll give it a try. I'm going to use this for today's eyeshadow. WAKEMAKE's soft blurring eye palette. It's the Cocoa blurring color. Before eye makeup, I'll put powder on my eyelids and fill in the area where my double eyelids are a little more firmly. For the base, I will use this color. Can you see it? Overall. Here, raise it based on the eyebrow bone. I'll just raise it to a level that creates a natural gradation. If there's too much color on the eyelids, the colors may look different. Apply the base color applied on top of the eyelids and to the under eyes as well. Kim Ji-won is the type of person with plump aegyo-sal. So, they matched the under eye with this base color too. But the key point here is it should feel like it blends into the back of the eye. It connects a bit with the base. Do the same on the other side. Next, I'll try using a slightly darker color. I will use this color. They applied it with a touch of gray and brown tones. Don't lower the shape too much like this, if you look at the photo, the end of the eyeliner slightly lifts up. That's slightly extended with the shadow. I'll do the same on the other side. Apply it like this, and subtly, you can see hints of coral brown. This color slightly brings out salmon and apricot hues, a sort of coral brown color. Dab this color around here to add a hint of color. Especially fill in the eye's triangular zone carefully, and here's a really important point. It needs to meet towards the back. They really emphasize the point of joining here. Connect it like this, including the under-triangle zone, making it slightly coral-like seems to be the key point. After applying the initial colors, use the darkest shade and dab it lightly as if spreading it along the under eyelashes. Then, lift the color towards the back. And really on the inside, add a hint of color slightly on the inner corner. This creates a more sophisticated and sharp look. Aim to connect the makeup towards the back, using the pupil as a central point. Doing it this way seems best. Only a hint of color should appear towards the front of the eye. Just like this, after applying these steps. First, I'll draw the eyeliner, but before we go, I'll slightly define the line. Using the darkest color, I'll outline the area for the eyeliner and I'll define the tail a bit. Make the end slightly lifted for a lifted appearance. I'll draw this line using a gel liner. This one is from Missha, I will be using Missha Palette Paint Liner in brown color. The eyeliner is slightly in a cat-eye style. The line itself is not very thin. For the hidden triangle zone inside here, It is important to fill it well and make sure the back part is up. Always, right up to the front of the eye, they really fill it in densely. I'll mix the two darkest browns, a brown with a slightly coral red tint and a brown with no redness. While blending the eyeliner, I will enhance the detail a bit more at the end. Softening that area, should give it a bit of a shadow effect. So it might not seem like much, but there’s a lot of detail involved. You can think of this as eye makeup built up step by step, very meticulously. Just like this, you can do the same on the other side. It seems like a very fine shimmer pearl is placed in the center, but this palette doesn’t have shimmer pearl. So, I'm using a Chanel cream shadow type instead. This is color number 804, which I bought at Sephora when I was in Czech Republic. It matches today's makeup so well. The particles are so fine that it adds a bit of highlighting. It’s that kind of color. Isn’t it beautiful? Just tap a little bit onto your hand, then apply it right here in the center. Just like this, place it here. You only need to apply it to the center of the eye. Finish it off with a slight satin feel like this. Now, I'm going to use the curler and mascara but will keep it light. Use the curler to lift as naturally as possible. Just to the extent that you can naturally lift it. Today, I'll be using this mascara. It’s Clio’s Kill Lash Superproof Mascara in Clear Curl. It's a bit more muted than just black. Rather than too black, muted fog black would look more natural to use, I think. I'll do the same on the other side. So let's do it like this and there's a slightly brighter color. I'm going to use this second color. Since the aegyosal is the type that rises slightly, it's better to keep the aegyosal as it is from the front to the back. Instead, the point is not to set the scope of the aegyosal too wide so that the aegyo sal caught when smiling is visible as is. This much? Just this much. Now, I'm going to apply some blush here. I'll be using this color in the Be Aube Mix Match Cheek Palette Warm Mix. I'll add this color to the brush and add a little more color. I'll use this Nobev Volume Detail Shading Palette in taupe gray color. Makes the tip of your nose a little sharper. The tip of her nose is definitely thin here. You have to cut it into as many pieces as possible using shading. Instead of painting the inner part of the eyebrow separately, just draw the nose tip. And shall we add a little shading? Create this line. And, let's go to the lips. For the lips, I will first use Be Aube's Cover Up Lip Base in Dear Beige color to enhance the overall line. The edges are a bit coral-colored, but the inside seems to be a plum color. You can create a feeling by matching the mood of the color, so even if it doesn't match your face, you can match it with the color of your makeup and give it that vibe. And the color on the inside seems very similar to this one, so I'll go. AOU's Floofy Matte Balm. This is a Cold Balm color. Here, the warm and cool elements were mixed appropriately, focusing mainly on the inside of the center. I think it would look pretty if I mixed a little more on the inside. This is Oddtype Unseen Blur Tint number 655. This is Odd Universe. Take a little bit of it. This is kind of like the fluffy type. If you do this as much as possible, your lip color will be really similar. You can see it, right? I found something very similar. The color of this plum is not strong. This combination is okay. It’s pretty. Now, once you do this, Kim Ji-won’s makeup is finished. My hair is like this right now, so you must thought, "It’s not similar though?" I just style my hair a bit, and I will try to change into clothes with a mood that Kim Ji-won usually wears. Then it will feel much more similar. Okay, everyone, once you do this, your hair, makeup, and coordination are done. Still, after doing my hair and changing clothes, it felt different, right? Let me show you the mood of the makeup in more detail. What do you think? Is the mood similar to the photo I referenced today? One point to consider is to use a color that shades the color itself but doesn't create a shadow that's too dark. Of course, if my hair was longer, the look might have been a little more similar, but I think it would be better for you to experience this makeup mood with various hairstyles. Now, thank you so much for watching today’s video until the end. I'll come back with the next video. You didn't forget to subscribe, like, and set the notifications to Inbora, right? Well then, we'll meet in a few days. Good bye!
