This is how we make the moonshine. Now He's late. I'm sure he's coming with what we want to
hear. He wouldn't be driving all the way here just
to tell us. No. In Cocke County, Tennessee, after a
threatening visit from law enforcement. If I look around in there, I think. I'm doing something wrong. David, really? I know you're doing something
wrong. I'm going to put his ass in jail. I'm telling you. The lifelong liquor maker has no choice but
to hand off any incriminating activities to a willing partner. When David Robertson came to my house and
told me, you know, looking at me right now that he was building a case against me, and
I'd been warned time and time again. I mean, honestly, it scared the out of me. And I'm going to have to take a break from
moonshining for a while. The best we can hope for is that killer bees
is willing to step up to the plate and take over until the heat dies down, at least. Hey, buddy. How are you, brother? I'm good. Hey, bro. I love you, man. Good to see you, boss. Well, I got to tell y'all, this is been a
tough decision. I mean, we've made decisions together, but
this. This is a huge one. And guess, you know that since I showed up
here that I came to tell you that I'm in. I'm grateful to killer bees for stepping up. I think he will make me extremely proud. And all the things that Digger and I
accomplished is going to be carried on by somebody that we love and trust. I would have called you or sent a telegram if
it was. No, I got to say, this offer was too good to
pass up the potential for an amazing amount of money. And I love making liquor, so I
didn't turn it down, but it scares me to death. I just got to be honest with you,
man. Yeah. I'm a little. More on edge than we used to think. About. It is there's a little more danger
than normal out there. It's big boy game right now, right? So as long as you're still good with that
and understand this. You know, wives see a different picture. We sat and we talked about it and I promised
her I would be extremely careful and vigilant. You know, when we met with bees in Nashville,
we give him a very, very brief rundown of the encounters we've had with the law. I know he's the man for the job. He thinks well on his feet. He can handle himself in a crunch. You're a full on. You're carrying the torch. So I say we go get him started right away. Don't give him time to think about this too
much. Nope. I say we go get with it. It's a no brainer that bees is the best man
for this job. Bees is a top shelf liquor man. He knows what he's doing. You going to let him sit in the front seat
now that he's a big boy? I'm going to let him. That way, he'll be the
first one to the wreck. Yep. So now we're going to get bees trained
up on our latest and greatest recipe, the triple malt Tennessee whiskey. The front seat. Let me get this door for you, sir. Thank you, sir. Let me do that. Bring him in with a vengeance. Let him start out right here. Just doing what we do and get busy. Bees. I got to tell you how good you look
health wise. Well, thank you very much. You don't have to butter him up now. He said yes. So was there a creek down here, a stream or
something? Limestone Spring. Spanish. Limestone Spring. You've ever seen? Detective David Roberts has made it
extremely clear that he's gunning for me. This is serious. It's my freedom we're
talking about here. But also, I feel that it's my obligation,
you know, to help killer bees. Since he has agreed to take up the slack in
my absence. However, short term it may or may not be. We dug us out a little bit of a reservoir. And it just runs out from right in there. Excellent. You know, today has come and it is the day
that we plan on teaching bees how to make our best of the best, in our opinion, the triple
malted grain moonshine. All right. So we're heating the water in
here. Yeah. Just means less gear to drag around. Ready? First mash in at the new place. I love this. Yeah, It's a big day for me
today, Mark and Digger are going to teach me their recipe for their three grain, all
malted Tennessee whiskey. While that water is coming up to temp, we'll
grind some grain. Well, all right. It's something I've never
done before, and I'm just chomping at the bit to get in there and start making it. You know, this is the same old Tennessee
whiskey recipe. We just have all malted grains in it, which
brings way more flavor to the party. All three grains. Right? It's going to be up to you to get the grain
in there. Just dump that thing full and two
bucketfuls. Okay. You're off to a great start. You just lost $17 worth of malt and grain. And now this rascal fool. You have to watch it. You put it in the hopper before you crank it
up either way. But it's okay. You know, the goal here today is to simply
get bees acclimated to the new recipe. Triple grain malt Tennessee whiskey. That ought to do it on the barley. Well, that made short work of it. Now we just need a half a bucket of rye. And it's in that bucket. Killer. Killer bees. He don't need any teaching on the stills or
mashing in. He just simply needs to know the ingredients
and what amount and you know what it's supposed to taste like. Time to get corny. Let's see. Any one of your shows you were
waiting on that, weren't you know? Don't worry. I caught some of it. Okay. Thank you. I'm enjoying prepping for easy
grinding the grains. Everything's right there. Spring water. There's a lot of room we're not cramped in. And so it's a neat steel site. We're hot over here, guys. Okay. Crank her down to simmer. We're ready for sugar. I think you're right, sir. You would be true and correct. Yeah. Come here. Come here. Let me grab. It. Come here. No. You get a star for the day. All right. He's doing so much better. All right, sugar. What bees is doing right now? Doing the right thing at the right moment. That's showing me he's learned. And that brings me a little bit more comfort
from the vacancy that Mark's going to leave. Hey, Mark, you got hot water for us. Got it coming here for you, boss. All right. Thank you. You're going to get another star for the day. I feel like bees is going to be a good fit. Hey, Digger, can you get that yeast, buddy? Get your own yeast. I'm too. Old. I got your yeast. Oh, yeah. There it is. Yeah. It's up to the moonshine gods to take
charge now. Killer bees. I'm proud of you. Well, thank you, man. You. You taught me. I'm more proud of you for stepping into my
spot than I am this. I know you know how to do this. Well, I can't. Fill your shoes, buddy, but I can. I can make a run. I can make a run. A liquor. Yes, you can. Thank you, But it'll be all right. You know, I was worried about bees because,
you know, bees is. He's a stand up comic. I expected I'd be doing most of the work,
but don't have to worry about him carrying his weight. Guys, you know, I think we've got you broke
in on this mice. I help you do this first run but then after
that puss, it's up to you and him. We got this. I know you have got. I felt bad in my life
about a lot of things, but turning you loose with this ain't one of them. Well, I appreciate that vote of confidence
once again. You're the guys that taught me so. I appreciate what you're doing. I'm honored to do it.
