on my little plants oh it's so exciting in springtime to see these baby plants starting to grow we promise to be careful Grandpa very good off you go then Grandpa Pig's chocolate egg hunt has begun color is it blue of course very good let's start with blue now for the cherry tree we need we need green for the leaves never mind if we mix blue paint with yellow paint we can make green mixing blue and yellow makes green what lovely green leaves and here's some grass what about the branches we haven't got brown paint we can make brown we'll mix the green and the red make mixing green and red makes brown daddy pig Paints the tree trunk and the branches wow Daddy can I paint the cherries Cherry yes Peppa put your finger in the paint and dab it onto the tree one two three well done George's turn [Music] what a great painter you are George there the painting is finished the Ducks are running through Daddy's paint [Music] a little bird is eating Grandpa Pig's flower seeds boy get off my seats so that's where all my seeds went into the little birds tummy two more little birds are eating Grandpa Pig seeds oh look ah shoot noise granny Pig the birds are eating all my flower seeds so we're chasing the birds away there's no point chasing them they'll just come back again no we need a scarecrow what's a scarecrow a scarecrow is a straw man that scares birds away what a good idea granny Pig I'll make one come on everyone bye bye little birds we're going to make a scarecrow this is Grandpa Pig's garden shed there'll be plenty of things in here to make a scarecrow first we need two sticks and some strings we'll find them [Music] Peppa has found some sticks George has found some string good I'll tie the sticks together to make the body granny Pig has found some straw and an old sack lovely I'll put the straw in the sack to make the head now the Scarecrow needs something to wear here's a bag of old clothes [Music] George has found a dress silly George Mr scarecrow doesn't for fish we're fishing for keys my daddy dropped the car keys down the drain oh you'll never get those back that drains really deep what a drains for a drain takes the rain water away to the Sea the fishing line is not long enough to reach the keys my goodness how deep is this drain we can see how deep it is by dropping a stone good idea Miss Rabbit we can count how long the stone takes to reach the bottom one two three four five six [Music] now Mr Skinny Legs has got the whole garden to play in bye bye Mr Skinny Legs it is starting to rain Mr Skinny Legs is running back to the house maybe he office [Music] first I picked a smelly flower [Music] very flowery then I put it in my beaker no George you can't put grass in my perfume it needs to smell of flowers smell yuck George does not like smelly flowers Grandpa Pig is in his herb garden Grandpa Grandpa smell this it smells like pond water it's my special perfume I made it with flowers from the garden oh yes it's the most beautiful perfume in the world yes do you like it George No George doesn't like the smell of flowers take this bucket George you can make perfume out of something else I have got lots of lovely smelly things in my herb garden this is Rosemary I like to use it in my cooking hmm it smells interesting [Music] this is mint oh that smells very minty yeah and this is lavender smells like cranny Pig's perfume wow that's a strong smell of lavender [Music] ah granny Pig you smell nice thank you Grandpa Pig Granny [Music] granny yes it's lovely has George made some perfume too no granny he doesn't like the smell the outback flying in an airplane on a sunny day going to a picnic a long long way away [Music] [Applause] [Music] I love the Outback um what is the Outback we're flying over it now oh is it it kind of is but the Outback is also a special magical place for us here is our picnic spot with our special picnic tree it's the only tree for Miles wow it's hot have you got any water too right we all need water water is a precious thing in the outback so don't go nice and cool waste it Daddy you have to drink it not Splash it around ah no worries let's cook up a good old-fashioned Australian picnic oh sounds lovely should we collect wood for the campfire you don't need wood when you've got gas Mr Kangaroo has a gas barbecue when we have a picnic Mrs duck always shows up ah there's no chance of Mrs duck showing up in the middle of a desert it is a duck-built platypus this is dugfield platypus always shows up when we have picnics food's ready corn on the cob for everyone Peppa likes corn on the cob Everyone likes corn on the cob [Music] wow it's all the colors of the rainbow that's coral Coral is made of lots and lots of tiny creatures and the coral stretches for miles and miles we call it the Great Barrier Reef it's my job to keep the coral safe come with us sorry Peppa we can look but we mustn't touch if ever every visitor took a little bit of Carl harms soon all the coral would be gone we must never never take anything away from here oh [Music] fish they're clownfish clown fish they do look quite funny over there a big blue starfish there's a tiny red one and the spiky green one what's that that's a turtle [Music] hello Mrs Turtle how are you today you see how lucky I am to work in such an amazing Place Peppa look a little Bridge just like in your fish tank you're right Peppa it is quite like the fish tank here except there's no treasure chest of course what have you seen George it looks like a chest full of gold coins wow George has found a treasure chest you see Daddy everything is the same as the fish tank uh yes that gold must be worth a fortune I think I can get it but you said we must never take anything away I meant natural things that belong here that's right these gold coins don't belong here so we need to remove them [Music] what's this grandpa that is manure wonderful stuff I put it on my vegetables to make them grow big and strong it smells really smelly oh it's the muckiest smelliest thing in the garden uh probably best if you two stand back there let's go spread some muck this is Grandpa Pig's Cabbage Patch hello cabbages would you like some manure it is getting windy hold on to your hat George oh dear the wind has blown George's hat off George's hat is caught in a tree oh but your hat is so thank goodness for that I'll get it done uh perhaps I had better no grandpa I can do it [Music] oh dear pep covered in mud I see two little piggies who need a bath George's hat is on top of some reeds in the pond lucky for us your hat is still clean George but how do we get it this is a job for a grown-up hmm I will need a stick don't falling grandpa I knew what I'm doing Peppa I can reach it [Music] I see I see a big piggy who needs a bath Grandpa Pig what on Earth are you doing I'm having a cup of tea [Music] look out there's a mountain in front we're gonna crash straight into it no we're going into the tunnel there is a tunnel through the mountain it's all gone dark we sailed straight through the middle of a mountain this canal boat is actually quite fun look here comes another mountain and that means another tunnel not this time oh there's no tunnel so what do we do we're going uphill there's no way in the world a boat can go uphill there is and it's called a lock watch I'll show you mummy dog is opening the gates to the lock take care captain just wait there while I close these lock Gates now I'm letting in the water from the top we're going up the rising water is lifting the canal boat up now I opened these Gates take her out Captain full steam ahead whoa where is the ground car we're in the sky we're sailing over a bridge yes this bridge means we can sail high above the valley below sailing across the sky what could be a better Adventure sailing across the sky you know about so high floating on the water sailing across the sky have you had a fun time daddy I should say so I've sailed through mountains over Hills and across the sky this is my best birthday ever boots everyone loves Canal boats [Music] these plants like sunlight and glass lets the light in this plant smells lovely oh that's just basil granny pig throws the season apart and it just grows oh let me show you something that takes real skill to grow my tomatoes they're very very small Grandpa eat one and tell me what it tastes like it tastes of nothing well they're not quite ready yet hello my little ones ready could I have some tomatoes please Grandpa Pig um no I'm afraid the tomatoes aren't ready maybe in a few weeks but but I want to make tomato salad for lunch is growing tomatoes yes maybe Granddad dog will lend us some I don't think we want Granddad dogs rusty old Tomatoes uh Grandad dog oh granny Pig lovely to see you this fine morning do you have any Tomatoes we might borrow borrow you can take as many tomatoes as you like the tomatoes have done very well this year they look a lot bigger than your Tomatoes Grandpa they may be bigger but that doesn't mean they're better Pepper would you like to taste one yes please hmm yummy that is the best tomato I have ever tasted ever ah how did you grow them Grandad dog I didn't really mean to grow them I just threw some old tomato seeds down in the corner there and they grew fill your basket there's too many for me to eat thank you we're going to make a lovely tomato salad ah I know a great recipe for a tomato salad lovely can you make it for us the problem is my recipe needs basil and I haven't managed to grow any basil Mike [Music] Garden eat vegetables oh no Peppa these peelings are for my compost heap what's that I'll show you here it is yes Peppa but it's a very clever wooden box I put these peelings in the top and then out of the
