Sean: let the people know what you got going on in your life Ken: in general? Sean: yeah... like if you have any plugs or anything Ken: oh
Lmao I died at this part
I'm really happy he was his normal self instead of the insane over-the-top character he often plays in interviews.
He seemed SO happy just from the questions Sean asked him, it's actually amazing how good these guys are. Awesome episode.
His sincerity with this question was really funny to me.
Saw a comment Hot Ones left saying his wife destroyed the wings in the green room. Good for her.
"I'm beginning to like you."
5 seconds later
"FUCK YOU, SEAN"
I don't know what it is. I've been watching Ken Jeong in movies and TV shows for years and I'm always surprised at how funny he is. It just sneaks up on you. I always love it when the guest can make the crew laugh loud enough to be heard.
Wow this was one of my favorites. Heβs so nice and genuine. Heβs complimenting all of the good questions and such a good story teller with a lot of interesting insight. He and his wife are wonderful. Awesome interview!
Cool guy, great episode, only two medical answers bugged me:
The 10% of our brain thing is a widely debunked myth
Spicy food does not cause ulcers, there are only two main causes: the bacterium Helicobacter pylori, and NSAID medication
In Dr. Jeong's defense, when he attended medical school, the bit about ulcers was not properly understood, and the prevailing wisdom was that they were tied to excess stomach acid/spicy food/etc.
I also thought it was really cool to know how Don Glover helped inspire him.
