now how's this for an absolute crop what the monster it is five and a half meters long and it weighs more than a ton yeah but look at the croc as well Matt right caught that massive croc and the top end I'm pleased to say he joins us now from Darwin good morning to you Matt oh yes my lace I hate yawn well just something you picked up in the pot there bro just cruising around the Darwin where did you find it what's that the croc or the suspect the crop but we got a few we got a few of these snakes getting around Darwin the thing is that people just gotta be aware that they don't run them over during during the wet season where they all come out at nighttime so beautiful big olive Python and I've had it for quite a few years now quite a very quiet snake beautiful stuff and now what about the croc you've seen it a lot of big Crocs in your time but this one whoa yeah that's a that's quite a quite a large croc that Karl that was on window film in season 3 for our bat Wrangler he is definitely one of the biggest that we've caught we caught probably about three that size last year and a couple of them will manage to tag release put satellite trackers on them and release them again but some of these big fellas when they do cause a problem on cattle stations instead of them getting shot I have to catch them and remove them they sometimes end up in in parks but was trying to manage that and put a few more tags and satellite trackers on them and keep an item so if you found this one in the cattle station he could obviously smell lunch yes yes this they they make short short meal out of a cow that's for sure hey Maddy it's a good thing you found in with gaffer tape around his nose cavity yeah no it's the the the only way to I you know I keep them calm and stop them stressing we put a yeah we put a bit of Hessian make sure you got to put that hashing over their eyes and then really tape them up it sort of covers all their senses their hearing and it just it just really calms them down stops them from stressing if we don't do this there's a good chance they stress they build that lactic acid up and and it'll kill them so well you've got to we've got to treat them with care even though there are a big massive dinosaur looking looking animal looks like someone just came in a Jurassic Park yeah they are quite fragile especially when we're doing catch them we've got to get a few drugs into them and new toys and then get that type and that moment of oh my gosh there's a big five and a half metre croc to what we just saw there where it's all wrapped up how do you approach them ah a big trap big bait you know we we target certain animals when the landowner says you know he's losing quite a few cattle in one area is lost a horse or a few dogs we're going to that area we'll have a look at that area and we're first we set a few cameras and all this is going to be on our on season three about Wrangler where we we set the motion sensor cameras to see how big the Crocs going to be and then we'll we'll set the trap accordingly and in this case it was a quite a large trap for for this big big crocodile well you know it's going to be a good series and I'm just going for you're such a proper man is there anything you can encourage other men to do to be more manly just be self cow [Laughter] alright Matt this season looks absolutely fantastic you so well shot and season three of the outback Wrangler comes out on National Geographic in December this year great to see you Matt thanks lace is good to talk to you guys and there be watching December this year background the season 3 it's gonna be it's a great show so handsome ok you just mesmerized me
