Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
I just love Jiwoo's intense, fierce dancing face. It's particularly strong here.
Ayy! I've been curious as to what the only four member version of this choreography looks like! I love how the other members are included in the choreography for the parts where otherwise it would be just girls section+background dancers or guys section+background dancers. Especially for the bridge portion with the really nice portion where the guys make a box for the frame for Somin to twirl her hands
It's nice that they're playing more with formations and movement into different formations and not just walking to their next places, especially after how kinda bland ROTW's choreography was. It's kinda sad when J.Seph gets covered for various parts of the song :'c Like you'd expect the chorus to be the place where you'd want to showcase all of the members as best as you can (especially when you have just four members), but poor dude's covered for like half of the chorus. I'd bet it would look amazing in concert though (subtle plug for KARD's 2nd Seoul concert later this April π)
Also a note on their outfits, I could totally see these outfits as something they'd actually practice in LOL. Like an actual dance practice video. They all just look so comfortable, not in any fancy shoes or anything. Maybe except Somin's outfit, but honestly that outfit's pretty bomb (bomb) so I'm not gonna complain :0
Shoutout to my boi J.Seph for improving a lot. Imo, in KARD Jiwoo and BM are very stylized dancers. They have a certain style and air to how they dance when they don't really have strict movement. In the meanwhile with J.Seph, especially in earlier choreography, he could definitely be seen as a little sloppy because while he hits hard and he's sharp, there's room for him to look sloppy when there's uhh minimal choreography? Sorta like how you can see mistakes in easy choreography a lot more than in more complex choreography. Meanwhile with Somin, while she's not as sharp or stylized (though something's to be said about her presence cause damn :v), when you're learning any of KARD's choreography, she's kinda the one to look for to do probably exactly what the choreographer intended the dance to be like. Like whatever the dance is, she's probably doing it 100% to how she learned it, kinda making her in a way the most "consistent" member as far as dancing goes. This choreography uses each member's strengths super well and they feel much more...in tune with each other and the dance than other choreographies they've done. I'd also recommend Knockin On My Heaven's Door as another good example of them really fitting/meshing well with their choreography
