time repeat what is it guest repeat guest Justin whoa repeat guest clearing that up um Justin assada I'm so excited to talk with you we've chatted on Surviving Paradise now we get to talk on perfect match thank you for making time thank you for having me I wouldn't uh I couldn't think of a better Monday afternoon love that I feel the same way let's really quick direct everybody where can they follow you what's your what are your social handles yep it's all the same Justin assada Assad da uh Tik Tok um Instagram uh Snapchat I'm not much of a snapchatter but I'll post a story uh but I'm not Snapchatting people okay I know women are like you're on Snapchat I'm like I'm trying to get to the back all right I'm trying to make some money off these stories baby is Snapchat monetized yes if you hit like a certain uh number of followers on there there's a ad Revenue so up your stories with ad advertisements and things of that sort so no big deal I'm just writing down create Snapchat yeah right 100% back burner but I'm putting it on there because why not before we get into perfect match I want to hit surviving Paradise quickly for anybody who's listening who's like OMG I've watched both shows I'm still curious first of all has it been over a year since like filming All That Jazz from surviving Paradise mhm yeah we filmed that in uh June May 2022 May to June 2022 oh my God does it feel like a lifetime ago yes it does um I was just talking about this with Cisco because it like even watching the show back I think I was like what how old was I like 24 when I filmed 25 and like I don't know it probably doesn't mean much the naked eye but like when I watch myself back like I I feel like I look am like so young like I look and feel so younger to myself my perception myself so I don't it's interesting it's actually really crazy I can see that because even a month goes by I mean even 10 minutes goes by and I can change my how I feel on something I can change how I look Nia bangs like I can imagine two years going by and then watching my old self on camera being taken back a little bit yeah it's really weird he's like if you watch we're talking about like have you watched it back are there things that like you would change in the moment now that you're older and I'm like I don't know I really don't want to go through like you can't change it so uh it's on to the next one right 100% I think that's a good way to live especially when you're going on reality TV shows it's kind of like you know also too regardless of how you conduct yourself there's always going to be one way the truth of what happened and then how it can be edited so it almost doesn't really like matter that much oh yeah absolutely it doesn't matter whatsoever I mean yeah for the most part right like you can conduct your yeah I think there's an act there's an act excuse me there's an accurate depiction of most people on the TV show but some people do get tough edits and uh you watch it back and you're like yeah they're not necessarily like that but I'm excited to touch on that in the realm of perfect match just cuz I'm curious your feelings on that have you so you're obviously still talking to Cisco have you kept in contact with any of the rest of the cast are you guys still friends or is it kind of like you had your experience yeah I mean I mean for some people like um for the yeah I'd say like yeah majority of people we do stay in contact right but there's obviously there's levels to the communication I'd say like me Cisco me and Cisco talk like every day every other day wow same with like Aaron and Shay like those those are people that like I'm never going to lose contact with and and then like yeah I guess I'm never going to lose contact with anyone really but like it's just I guess it's levels of uh of uh of conversation and uh like copen Alex like I still talk to them love them so much evi stay in touch with like yeah I really like treasured the uh the relationships that I made on that show and uh try to stay on top of it but I just like I don't know everyone has different things going on in life so if everybody was single and surviving Paradise do you think that that show could have fostered more authentic connections than perfect match I said that it's like okay this is ready surviving Paradise is like um Big Brother meets um Survivor right I'm like why didn't we layer that with a love Island because we could have definitely did it like not necessarily like coupling up but like maybe I don't know like give it at least some sort of like romantic uh facet to it because I feel like Not only would like that would have been adorable but then like there would have been more uh desire to like be with your person and get into the villa and I you guys don't see that too but me SK Tay and shaylor had like a whole subplot about having a romance and there was so many conversations of me and Shay being like hey like we need to get into that vill to be with like our girls so to say and uh I I think yeah they wanted to capitalize on that but unfortunately you know I feel like half the cast was in relationships too so they could have done Duos and it could have gone either way you could have been platonic with someone or you could have ended up doing Duos like getting into the house or being together and it's like you could change that like oh like I like her so we're not separating exactly and that's like the ultimate test right you're going to choose uh you know the lobster on the beach or you going to stay with your match down in Camp you know so Lobster be just kidding yeah I'll be like oh you know what I'll come back for you right right right I'll save you a leg or CL exactly I'll I'll get a takeout container 100% um can you share has there been any more drama has any has everything been positive like what's the status I mean you know what there was like a bunch of weird random drama uh all in uh the group chat where someone was taking shots and everyone and uh they got called out real quick uh and then after that I just kind of like left the group chat and uh it was funny like it was really weird like the bottom line is like guys we all had this shared experience on a TV show right surviving Paradise that like when we talk about it now like not too many people have seen uh it obviously didn't do the numbers we wanted it to right which is unfortunate but like at the same time like what's there to argue about you know what I mean it's not like this uh crazy program that Drew in a massive following that is having people polarized on either you know what I mean so like me personally I'm just like Hey listen like the experience we had was wonderful I'm so grateful to meet everyone uh I hope everyone uh embarks on you know whatever Journey they're on right now and and kills it but like yeah the drama just got like way too much for whatever reason can you share without saying who it is like like what was this like a roast of every person randomly like what were some of the comments can you share oh my God wait it started because of this podcast Leah you are the culprit you are the Catalyst of the argument no yes yes oh my gosh you know what yeah now I have to talk to you because let's get into it I'm curious no well the funny thing was uh I forget the terminology I used right when I I think I said someone played like someone was cunning uh on their time there and uh they weren't appreciative of the words and they thought they took it as like a personal I'm like no you were you played a calculated game it's nothing it's not about you or your character it's reality TV and that person had like an issue with it uh and it's like it's not on me like you're on reality TV I feel like you kind of have to make the choice if you want to be authentic or if you want to play the game and if you're going to play the game own it like go ahead like that's I think that's great you know what I mean it doesn't take away from you as an individual like you know what I do your thing and uh I think there was like some offense taken to it towards it and uh then there were shots sprayed in you know a bunch of different directions at a bunch of people and uh they came at Aaron too and oh no Aaron you know what I mean I'm surprised I didn't get added to the group chat lowy but like it's whatever like at the like you know like H I don't know like I I don't hold this person in in any like you know of course like I wish them the best and I think they're they're great but it was it was a conflict of interest I guess well thank you for sharing on one layer I'm very sad that that caused that on another layer that's kind of like the coolest thing that's happened to me not even cool dying laughing hilarious yeah you know what I mean like our innocent podcast were like it was pretty respectable I thought respectable I thought it was respectable too I was like yeah we were like pulling up clips and I was like do you need me to get the receipts and I was like screen recording sending them to the chat and then everyone was like this is crazy and uh that's kind of awesome when and Del pulled the receipts out that's what they say right it's always enjoyable to hear that hey like I made it I made it to your guys' group chat here I am here stirring the pot yeah like unintentionally though and with the best best intentions always yeah absolutely that's so funny um okay so transitioning to perfect match we talked before about how you were cast for surviving Paradise how were you cast for this show and what were your expectations yeah I mean like I think like a month after when was it actually no no it wasn't a month I want to say it was like April they reached out cuz we filmed in August this was filmed a year ago uh as well and um they were like hey are you single I'm like single as I'm I'm ever going to be baby like yeah of course I'm single and I'm like [ __ ] are they going to put me on love is blind or something like I don't want to do that and like we're casting for a show of Netflix all stars that you might have heard before and I think the light went off of my head that it was perfect match and I was like hell yeah let's do it and uh yeah that's how it started and you know went through uh a whole series of interviews kind of like the same thing with uh with uh surviving Paradise but the only like main difference point between the two uh audition processes or uh there was like now I I don't remember I remember it was super long but it was like an 100 page or 100 60 page or 160 question um questionnaire I can't word to describe it but all about uh what your relationship types were like who you were in a relationship what you're looking for uh your morale your or excuse me your morals your ideals like all things about you and it was almost like a psych exam and uh I remember going through the audition process and this is what end on cuz I'm yapping but um talking to the the lead producer on the show uh thinking like oh this isn't like you guys take this pretty seriously like this is like a rigid test and uh he was like yeah like we're not joking around and I'm like wait I could potentially find my perfect match and he's like there's like a good possibility yeah so I was like I thought it was silly TV at first now I'm like it's [ __ ] go time baby I'm my person and the crazy thing is knowing that and I've heard this before so I'm glad that you've sort of confirmed with all of the information available they have they could have actually matched People based on their personality their preferences and I feel like they love to do the opposite they will or encourage the I don't know if I could talk about this but one of my one of The Producers on the show she is so wonderful she's a ball Joy um she her main thing was like choosing like looking at the tests uh and then even like take away all like you know the other aspects of the whatever she was choosing these couples like basically being like hey like this person is most compatible with this person this isn't this person's perfect match and um I didn't necessarily see it on the show uh like producers edging you to like maybe have conversations with this person or this person maybe a little bit but like um yeah like there was I guess like predetermined perfect matches mhm which makes sense right and did any of them like were any of the predetermined ones any of the ones that actually were together in the final now I don't know cuz I you want to hear some crazy tea yeah and this this is what makes me kind of uh this is what gives me closure on the situation too makes me feel better about it uh she told me that my perfect match was Elise like Elise was the person on top of my list throughout like the questionnaire um other intangibles or whatever those might be but like she was like you that was and so now looking back on it I'm like okay good like I owned it like that was my person I walked off I made the right decision like I wasn't going to settle and so yeah that gave me closure from the the situation too um but in terms of every like anyone else's perfect match I have no idea right I can only speculate I can't believe that you were her perfect match as well and then we saw what happened happen you know what I mean like it's cuz you knew like you're like you're like oh yeah like you're my perfect match yeah this is it pour my heart up I'm like this this is it and then at the end you're like coupling up or no and she's like yeah it was so funny um okay so we don't see you arrive until episode five which sucked were you there be like you like that was the first time you're brought in the house right cuz that's your first date yeah I mean me and Harry joke about this all the time because I was supposed to go in whatever date it was in the beginning and the Harry was like I didn't want you in the house he's like we I thought we looked too similar on the board and so he's like he's like uh he said like uh what does he say he's like this guy could be short with a [ __ ] stinky breath and I think Elise was like yeah we were going to bring you in but Harry like wasn't didn't want you to go in or something which it's all funny how it all played out but uh yeah it's like you're there uh in the hotel room like quite literally just waiting for a knock at the door being like hey like either like get your stuff ready like there's a chance that you're going on a date because once you're in the Villa you're in the Villa like you're bringing your bags with you like you're you know what I mean like you have to prepare for it so like I yeah you're quite literally just waiting for a knock at the door like hoping that someone puts you on a date do you know who the dates that you could be matched with before you go there no idea no idea who's there no wow it's like it's for me for someone who like naturally like I feel like I've gotten a bit better with it but like my anxiety is crazy right and I think like sometimes like I I wear it well but like it like you're going into this date right they knock at your door they tell you get your stuff ready you're going on a date you're going on a date I've never been on a [ __ ] blind date in my whole entire life like call me shallow but like I just need to know what someone looks like like I need to like put a face to a name now you're going on this blind date and next thing you know like I'm in some like weird like Village and there's Huts around and producers are prepping me and they're telling me like hey don't worry just go in there and I'm like why should I worry what like just planting more stress more anxiety in my head right and they're like you're going to see this girl and you're going to you know like have a great day like get to know her feel her out ask about the dynamic in the house and then all of a sudden like you catch oh my God she's blonde she's over there she's tall wait who is this from the Netflix univer it's like the craziest thing ever and they're like okay you're going go in boom handshake did you know her from her show no no idea me either I don't really watch Netflix I watch Love on uh love on the Spectrum that's it okay got it I didn't watch that but I have watched like other shows but I missed um whatever Elise is from so this was my introduction to her heard this show as well okay so you show up you're like almost like being held hostage and then you're like dropped off there and they're like okay go get them tiger um and you go on your date I want to know so your your date is like an ice bath would you have chosen this ever if you could have picked your own date no oh my God no I feel like everyone got like really intimate I thought that too dates they're like yeah get in the ice bath okay I'm like uh all right what in my back playing college football like this is crazy um and then it's just this strange man adorable man who's just leading me through it he's like I need he's like how weird do you want to get right now that's that was phrasing right how weird are you willing to get right now and I'm like me I'm I'll I'll get as weird as you need me to get like weirds my middle name so we was like all right we're going to do all this like energy pushing and it was it was fun like don't get get me wrong but like watching all the other dates back there's like oil massages and right I'm like what the heck was that I legitimately just you know I don't know I feel like I would I feel like there's no way to feel sexy like while you're doing Tai Chi and cold water you know what I mean exactly exactly I you know what it was though if you saw how tight that ice bath was if we were both in there it probably would have been pretty intimate like a lot though like that's a lot to like meet someone and then just be like inches away from each other's face okay um so I don't know if I would have necessarily wanted that too but okay I'm like less intimate than just meeting someone having to spend the night with them because I whenever I first was introduced to perfect match that's what I felt like was the most abrasive I was like OMG hey just met like let's go to bed like what I don't even know what side you sleep on I sleep hot you sleep cold what like there's so many things Leah you know what I'm not going to sit here and say that I haven't met someone and went to bed with them that night but I know you know what okay same but you know what I mean like it's just the whole like you're right no you're right well I was just talking about this with someone else and it was like okay um it's like perfect match is crazy and everyone's talking about how like oh the you guys just met each other it's like no it's okay first date now we're moving in together like we're going to share a bathroom and you know a living space and we're going to like you know so that that's the craziest part about it imagine going on a first dat and then moving in with someone essentially and then you hear of Harry's telling that he had like bowel issues the entire time and he's like living with Jas I'm like that sucks like that's that's embarrassing and kind of like and not that I feel bad for Harry CU to be honest not Harry has a lot of fans not one of them but you know like um yeah that would still suck objectively I can say that would still suck yeah no trust me that was like my biggest fear we were down in Mexico I'm like I cannot drink the water the least like that the last thing I need to do is just like get moaz Zuma's Revenge and uh give this girl another ick so 100% because they gave you one ick and it was like it was like your feet that was crazy what the heck was that that was nuts and I didn't even get a chance to explain myself um that was nuts I laugh so hard that should have been some sort of Pay-Per-View event because those are my dogs and a lot of people asked for feed picks now after the show I don't know if they would want to see my feet and nor pay for them but the the straight up feet pick foot pick whatever it was that was that was crazy and Hey listen they're not that bad I think there was some movie Magic going on too 100% they added like dead skin or something who was crazy I was like who's feet are those those aren mine are they I'm like am I have I gone like foot blind to my own toe does it prove that guys don't wash their legs and feet potentially we don't know like no I do you know this okay the story is I don't know what I was like skateboarding when I was a kid right and I like broke my toe and the toe is just the nail is just dead and everyone's like it's fungus get a pedicure I'm like no it's like Mr Deeds like I just got beat feet like so the thing was growing up too Leah my mom was she was the Catalyst for the anxiety of my toe and she was like that thing's gross Jay uh you're going to go to the beach with the girl one day you need to throw that thing in the sand so then my whole life I was stressed out about this toe I'm like [ __ ] I'm going to meet someone I'm going to meet my the one match yeah and she's gonna see my toe and be like oh my God like get away so when I tell you like every girlfriend that I had well I didn't have that many but like every girl that I took serious growing up or like explor things with uh I'd be like hey I know things are like going really great right now but let me just uh pull the curtain back and show you uh Toby my dead toe do you want to stay you're welcome to leave and they were like Justin that toe's [ __ ] disgusting but that doesn't change how I feel about you I was like oh okay so it's not that big of a deal you're like oh so my mom did make me feel kind of bad about [Laughter] this um I checked to see if you were on Wiki feet you're not though so like you're lucky you're not on yet not until after this interview's posted Leah I'll crop this part out um but in reality if I was your manager I would be like okay so like your next step is to make a like make a Tik Tok of that scene with the with that and then have you going to a spa to get a pedicure and being like me going to take care of the dogs I I got it like you're like I've already thought about that it's like hey come get uh get ready with me to get a [ __ ] pedicure with me to cure the dead toone can even say it seriously it's so funny like we were at the bar and like I like I I find myself like getting like no I just kind of [ __ ] around with it I think it's hilarious but like like we're talking to these girls at the bar and they're stroking my ego in in the best way possible and they're like but I saw the picture of your toe like Is that real I'm like no no CGI like it's come on guys like that was that was the guy was doing the ice bats feed that wasn't my feet and then my friend was like no that those are his feet it's only my left foot my right foot is pristine there's always a friend who has to just be like hold you accountable and just like you know bagger he's a yes exactly exactly like oh you thought that like you were doing well here I come let's shut that down a quick a quick slice of humble and he's like but meanwhile both of my feet are fine yeah Hey listen you know there's a maybe a slight bunging but at least it's not like Mr dead toe over there exactly he's like this leaves a door an open door for me now um okay so you and Elise you go on your first date first of all did you do anything else or did you literally soak in this bath for 5 minutes and leave soaked in the bath we had um conversation like pretty like surface level conversation what do you do you know you know what uh where you from type conversation uh and then I think I just essentially asked about the dynamic in the house like hey are you coupled up with someone and uh she was like yeah I'm just coupled up with a friend right now I'm definitely exploring options and that was it it's super quick like you get maybe 10 to 15 minutes of conversation too so that's the other thing that's stressful wow and then you guys come back to the house and a game of Truth or Dare is played now we don't see if you in a lease ever get a truth or dare was it just like certain couples or did you guys play that game I don't even I was so stressed out that night um I don't blame I get back there and here I am on [ __ ] surviving Paradise I open now I told you I don't really watch Netflix too much but then you open up the door and you see like Harry and you see Dom and you see like these other people that like you don't necessarily like recognize but you you don't know but you recognize from Netflix and it's like overwhelming too and now you're fresh meat in the house and uh the whole time I'm there I'm just like like I am just existing like I don't want to be perceived in a bad way I don't want to be overly nice and get you know taken advantage of or look like an idiot so like I don't think I talk too much I had conversations with the girls uh that was the extent of it but like um yeah I think I was just trying to respect people's boundaries whether it was like socially physically and I don't know I guess it's kind of ridiculous on a show where like it's pretty uh runchy and and and sexual in nature but like I didn't want to like really just be too overbearing with the guys or the girls I was hoping that someone like saw my authentic approach right and like was drawn to that so I think that's how it played off and uh even with the game of Truth or Dare I I don't know if I was involved in it but um yeah no like I was just kind of like existing in the moment so to say and I feel like just because it's a RI show I still really appreciate the fact that you went in with that disposition because there is something about out like on the on the girl side of it like oh my God every guy here this is a show that's kind of salacious is going to assume that like you know we're either going to have sex or like he can talk about my body non-stop you know what I mean like there is those feelings of being like nervous on that end as well so I think it's nice that you come into that not wanting to have those feelings and also like you have a sister you have like your mother in your life I feel like you have like a respect for women that maybe just we didn't see from everyone yeah like you know exactly I like I can speak on that my experience and you're right like that's something that goes on through your mind too and like there is I don't want to say there's like a pressure to do it CU there's no pressure from production to do it it's just like you said there's a Sala a salacious nature to it it's very flirty um but you still have to that's what they say right and I think the important thing to note is well it is reality TV you have to remember this is not like like you have to keep one foot in the real world and that's what I was trying to do like not get too lost in the sauce and remember that this is going to be played back for a lot of people and you're an extension of your family and your friends and the people who associate closely with you and so that was my Approach going into it and um yeah I mean like don't get me wrong like I am a a very sexually ch charged person but like at the same time you still want to respect people's boundaries cuz you know it is a it is a weird dynamic when when coming in so right and it says day five for us but I have no idea if it's really day five or how long everybody has actually been like matched up with each other so I get being weary of existing foundations as well yeah absolutely and like the other thing is like I think I was trying to like they tell you to be very like forward right and not necessarily in that sense but I understand where producers are coming from when they're being like hey this could be like your only night in the house if you don't play this correctly and we're making sure that you don't leave any cards on the table you don't leave any stone unturned we want you to go in there have conversations with people tell people you fancy them tell people that like you know you think that you know you could coexist in in the outside world as well like when they're there they really want you to to make that leap and I see I think on the show certain people don't take full advantage of that and I definitely didn't take advantage of that when I was coupled up with a lease but I don't know I felt like I was treating it like I would on the outside world and what I meant by that too is like you're going in you're meeting people who are in coupling situations in relationships so to say so you have to respect their boundaries in the sense that you don't want to be too invasive with your approach and be like hey like I know that you're with this person but I'm this like you know what I mean like it just felt weird so um yeah I'd say it was like that but like I don't know I guess I commend the people who didn't uh who didn't really try to falsify their interest in other people or you know what I mean but yeah I guess that's a that's that's a conversation for a different time your conversation you had with Micah going back to anxiety a little bit I feel like the first time I saw a glimmer of your personality early on was chatting with Micah about basketball everything tell me about that and why that never came to fruition because that is where I feel like you had actual commonality in chemistry so I go in there after like kind of a [ __ ] date with Elise not to say that it's anything about you know uh like me or her whatsoever like it was just kind of awkward like everything about it was awkward like I was trying to understand what was going on like I think I was trying to find a balance between like showing interests but then also understanding like the dynamic in the house and maybe that was Ill perceived but um yeah there definitely weren't too many fireworks to start right and so then we go in and what's only thing that's on my mind right now is okay I need to find a match because clearly me and Elise AR aren't a match um and so I start talking to Micah right and I don't know what conversation she fell in line uh at like what number conversation she was for me I think I talked to Alara first and then maybe I talk to Micah next the funny thing was I went up to Alara and I was like Hey St can I talk to you st turns around he's like what I like didn't even know their names that's how crazy it was oh my gosh and so uh yeah I talked to uh and then I yeah and I think Mike it might have been my second or third conversation but um I had a conversation with the LW she was really respectable and transparent with her relationship with uh with st at the time maybe I talked to Jess and kind of exercised the same thing with Harry um and then when I came to Micah I was like this is [ __ ] stupid like all these people are just coupled up like and then I actually have a conversation with Micah and the conversation goes swimmingly like everything about it like there's common interests and you know there's joking going back and forth like I think uh a clear indication of me and and me being myself or coming out of my shell is like my sarcasm my dry humor and I feel like I was you know kind of just like exercising that with with Micah too and it was well received and um yeah and then I I think the conversation ended and I was just like hey yeah I got to go kind of feel out my uh my other people or whatever and um I think she ended up coupling up with Cass and I think it was like end of the night and me and Elise just kind of matched hands and we're like let's do this yes whether it's us or someone else do you feel like even at that point you felt like she's not really in this and that you guys are just like like not like obligatorily matching but just sort of like well I thought that I was like this is just you're absolutely right like an obligatory match right right and um she was like no like I like I like you like I fancy you and I was like oh okay um well I'm like yeah like you too like aesthetically like I think that you're stunning you know what I mean and you know like I'm so down to exploring this and so uh we went to bed that night and yeah I think the second day is really where things picked up okay and that's where things picked up in terms of your connection you mean yes okay got it that's the day where you guys are like joking more like yeah no no yeah like having those conversations okay so did you ever watch the show show back like when when Cass and Micah match up ultimately he feels like she was being sneaky having her conversation with you did you hear any of that as you guys are there like are things loud enough like oh I heard that conversation or what I you know what I if I was if I wasn't so nervous in the moment I think I definitely would have tapped into it but like I was so stressed about finding someone and finding a match that like once I saw them kind of Recon I was like okay that's gone like it's over got it um but no watching the show back now I I guess I like I didn't even like that didn't even uh that didn't even really dawn on me and it is kind of interesting like I love Micah Micah is a sweetheart and watching it back and seeing that like Micah like I think it was like really like me and and Cass were like the only ones that there might have been like a spark between like it means the world to me cuz I think that Micah is a really special girl and uh it is funny to see watching back but yeah I don't know it it kind of yeah makes you feel good but yeah I would wonder have you guys talked you and Micah after the show yeah absolutely I mean like we stayed in touch even after the show ended and um yeah I think that like yeah I think that Mike is wonderful and I think that you know like maybe if the timing was different you know maybe me and her would have explored something else and and I'll say that really quickly too timing is everything on this show I feel bad for the people who came in later and didn't get to explore like a match with some cuz it really does boil down to timing and like the people who come in first like yeah you do have a chance to establish yourself and who you are uh with other people and uh that's yeah a little unfair but it does it boils down to timing just like regular relationship ships do too outside in you know the real world you could find the most perfect person ever but if you don't have the right timing then it'll never work out yes and that makes sense too like I was thinking that as well coming in later doesn't seem like it would be that easy you know you're rocking the boat you don't have as much time with someone you don't really know someone and even in terms of working out in the real world less likely yeah absolutely um so you had chats with theara mik uh and did you have chats with anyone else like is there anyone else who caught your eye I mean yeah Jess is stunning I had a chat with Jess I think it was just like a difference of like identity uh two different people essentially uh but like I said she was she was with Harry at the time she was comfortable uh in that um relationship and I feel like I talked about it on Tik Tok though too like it is tough to be in there and try I like I'm rambling now but but like my whole thing was hey I'm going to go up to these women I'm going to see if they want to explore things I'm not going to try to be you know too uh too much in conversation and try to make them uh like want me like if someone wants me hopefully we can have a conversation you know they like what they see and we can we can crack on but like it's never really been me to try to make someone like me like you're either interested or not and I like if I just was really drilling someone to like make them couple up with me like it's just kind of cringy I don't know it's like not necessarily me so yes which brings me to another point I feel like it was interesting because it may be a bad edit and maybe I just don't know aise but it was interesting to me that you even coupled up with aise just because from what we see on the show it looks like she like has this weird hatred towards Micah and like she's kind of like stirring the pot and like getting joy out of like kind of like the demise of like Micah's relationship and stuff so it you know I don't know I don't know how to describe it like she almost like get like teams up with Harry wanting to split up like Micah and Cass and then like you're to the sidelines what were you thinking during all of that because you're so nice and then like what she was doing was so not nice I was wondering your thoughts I mean like I that's the thing I don't like you're going to hear this from me a lot you're not asking the right guy because I'm watching that back too and I'm like wow like this is the only moment where I saw that happen right that I was kind of in the middle of that right was the moment in time where Nigel and Britain had both got to the house and here's a little behind the scenes about that so Nigel and Britain both get to the house house and I meet Nigel I meet Britain both wonderful salt of the earth people and I'm like these guys are great like you know and I've been drinking all night and um then game of telephone goes around Cass is going to match up with Micah tonight Micah's not going to match up with Cass they're they want to explore different things so we're like oh really um well Nigel and Britain are here and they're both wonderful why doesn't Cass couple up with uh Britain Micah couples up with Nigel and then if there's a connection they just explore it going forward and you know you can whatever and so now in the moment I'm like this idea is genius like this is great like right everyone's happy no one has to leave we have new friends like the more the marrier and then Cass comes back and Cass is so upset and then I'm like [ __ ] like I messed up big time and what you don't see that night is Cass has his blowout rightfully so cuz no one went to C including me I trusted it like a game of telephone and believed what other people were saying around me right uh everyone goes to bed and me and Cass just stay up and I'm like I am so sorry A lot of people are talking about this relationship if anyone knows this relationship it's you and Micah and you should own that I'm like don't feel pressured to do anything do what your gut tells you if you want to explore the game explore the game but like listen Cass you're like my best friend here right now like this I feel awful and I I want you to know that like I'm trusting you I'm sticking by your side like take my word for that and like I was like legit on the verge of tears I go upstairs I'm like I don't want to be here anymore like this this is like to see his reaction in that situation that like I was like could have very much been a reason for that reaction right like didn't sit well with me and then Elise got upset and she was like you're just going to leave me here and I'm like yeah then I felt even worse about that and so then I was like I need to really drill home that I'm here for release now and um yeah that was that was a tough part but I guess you know to sum it all up like watching that back now I don't know if it's the edit I don't know if there was actually like a a beef there that they were trying to separate people um I think it's crazy if there was because I think there was way too much uh competition like in a show like this for no reason like the winter gets a vacation with their person there's no yeah uh so I don't like I don't know like I was legitimately just there having fun drinking tequila just [ __ ] swimming in the pool okay um and uh yeah watching it back it is surprising to see but yeah I don't know I guess in the moment it didn't feel like that but I have no idea I appreciate that entire explanation not that you owe me an explanation but it's just nice to have context we didn't get to see you talk to Cass you know like we don't really get to hear anybody really validate Cass with the exception of tlu on the show when she kind of interjects and she's like Elise you know kind of chill like um excuse me he doesn't have to validate his relationship to you and it's kind of like yeah [ __ ] cuz I was getting annoyed with Alisa that point I'm like yeah well then here I am and I'm like cuz I UND cuz I cuz Alise is telling me that they want to explore different things and I think hear me out I think Elise was coming from a good a good place when she was doing that like I I don't think it was coming from there was no malicious now maybe it's not her place to to do that whatsoever but I don't think it was coming from a bad place and so then I'm put in the position like like I got to defend my girl so then Chris is like you don't see Chris he looks at Elise he's like yeah leise why would you do that so I'm like yo Chris shut up dude like you're putting me in a tough spot now too I'm the guy that's going to get like sucker punched for his girlfriend like you know what I mean like whatever but yeah why watching it back it was it was it was funny but it was emotional too because I knew how stressed Cass was in that situation and like maybe it's me and just trying to be a people person or just being a people person but like I as much as I treasured like the intimate relationships that I had during the show like same with surviving Paradise like I treasure the friendships just as much like the friendships are everything to me like and there's something to be said right like majority of your your intimate relationships are going to cease to exist one day right you're going to find one person and stay with them hopefully but your friendships are they're going to continue on forever so hopefully but you know that's that's why I was stressed out about the cast situation like I didn't want to lose someone who I thought was like really wanted like genuinely one of my best friends so good I'm glad because that was the right thing to do anyways you know what I mean like it it's not your drama it's not your it's not your bag If It ultimately impacted his feelings regardless of the intention to like play matchmaker and help and keep everyone safe you're you're like okay well this pissed him off now he's heard his feelings so now I feel bad um and I also am new here in the house and if there was beef I have no idea like I'm just trying to defend the leise like I get it lots of lers like yeah everyone one big sleepover let's do it yes yes okay so okay I I we hit like a lot of stuff in one you said you were drinking tequila and I had this written down at some point and I think I missed it but what shelf are they giving you is it rail is it top shelf what kind of liquor are you drinking you you got no idea it comes out in a vat like a a vase and it's tequila allegedly allegedly uh but yeah they come out with like these fats of just alcohol and there's uh no limit um as you can see with Izzy like how much did Izzy drink above everyone else like was he drinking people above the table like what was happening well I was only there with Izzy one night but watching it back hey I've been trying to tell you honey but I got to know Izzy since the show ended and he's great and even watching the show back like he is just like one of my favorites to watch but uh yeah he come up with these Vats and it's like tequila rum vodka uh Rosé like and there's also like these vases of like pineapple juice orange juice and yeah so like the boys were just stoked like every time okay boys had a great we we had fun we some of us had a little too much fun but we had fun 100% I could see how that can get carried away unlimited Vats all access was there okay like what were you guys eating like quick behind the scenes like what were you guys eating so you we had a there was a there was catering but we had a majority had like a like a whole Pantry full of food that we could make okay so every morning like yeah every morning I'd wake up and I would make a lease coffee and avocado toast Harry would be down there cooking but like you had every like you had shrimp like grilled chicken steak that they all got at the grocery store and like yeah I guess you don't really see that like I feel like we all were cooked it was it was romantic we were all cooking for our spouses um who was really good at cooking on show to made nachos that looked so yeah to was to was good at cooking Chris was actually pretty pretty handy too um handy in the kitchen Cass would make us uh protein shakes that were really good but something about being in that heat that humidity uh I can't it curbs my appetite so I wasn't eating that much too and then it was like a time yes yes like three sheets to the wind in your cups but not eating and you're nervous so it's like Perfect combo as I was going to say it was probably it's like a production it's like yeah it's a production sweat drein what was just about to say it's their it's their cocktail oh let's give them a little bit of like everybody's going to be nervous yeah 100% okay let's let's talk a little bit more about you and Elise just because that's who you spend most of your time with I want to know like what sort of deep conversations were you guys having like what was the nature of the relationship before before splitting and you said you felt blindsided did you see any sort of future potential outside of the show I mean yes we were having we were now obviously like the conversations we were having were deep like extremely deep like so much so like this is who I am and this is why I am the way I am type deep and this is you know what I've gone through and like we were having really deep conversations obviously like you know those stay between me and Elise but yeah I mean I feel like that were kind of parlayed into it but at the same time you know I have to stand up for myself when you know things got there was things got too serious too quickly right and I understand it might be like I said perceived as like love bombing or something of that sort but like I feel like it was just me trying to show my affection because I spoke about it before how I've had like the biggest uh issues uh surrounding my emotional vulnerability and telling people that I you know appreciate them and versing how I feel in the moment and I spoke about it on the Tik Tok and I was like you know I was in therapy trying to like really just be the best version of myself emotionally like you know socially intimately and so my effort was trying to like I said like extend affection and extend appreciation towards someone right which I don't think I got too serious I think if there was conversation about going to the outside world and pursuing a relationship it was never we're going to finish the show and we're going to get into new relationship and we're going to get married and have two kids and [ __ ] live in Switzerland it was like Hey I just want to make sure that right now uh if that is the possibility we're laying the foundation yes because I've also been in relationships that although things worked out over you know over time like the fact that we didn't establish a strong Foundation up front was kind of led to the to the dilapidation of the relationship over time right so I always just wanted to make sure that I was taking the right steps and making sure that I was laying the right foundation but was not you know insinuating that you know we were going to be together right so you were more V you were just giving like Words of Affirmation and validation whereas she was not reciprocating so it felt like a little bit onesided it was tough because some days I felt like you know we're talking about boundaries too right and I feel like I was trying to be conscious of boundaries and there would be some days that she'd be like this is this is a lot okay and so I'd give her a space even when we had that convers ation and they [ __ ] dubbed it with the music uh you hear at the end go this is too serious too quick and I I mean okay understand let me back away um but then other days it felt like I wasn't showing affection or I wasn't or she's like I'm trying to be affectionate with you and you weren't receiving it or you off doing your thing so for me it was kind of it was tough it was tough to gauge um but I guess in the end there right we had had our conversations about it there was conversations about like uh like her being distant too and the only thing that I can say about that right was I think we had a conversation about how she wasn't too uh physically affectionate like she was physically distant from me and so me and her had a conversation about that and I was like Hey listen I just want to make sure that there's interest right right if you want to explore something else go for it do it but please just like give me a heads up if my perfect match is here and you know it's just me and you are just trying to exercise this relationship and it's not necessarily working I want you to tell me and I want you to be honest and upfront about it so I can make my you know I can go out and have conversations with other women and so that's essentially all I wanted was trans parency at the end of the day effective communication and uh that's why it's kind of sucked at the end because I did feel like I got blindsided so um yeah chalk it up to like a spur in the moment decision but yeah that was a tough thing okay so it sounds like you it it sounds like you honestly shouldn't have too many regrets because it sounds like you went through it in a very healthy way um I'm going to jump to boy day really quick so boys day girls day whatever day it is everyone separated did you have any sort of connection with Holly was your conversation surface level were you connecting with anyone they F they I don't know what I did to the to the producers but they [ __ ] my edit like between toes and good night moon and the conversation with Holly like I don't know what Holly's gonna say about it but like me and Holly had great conversation I think Holly is wonderful I think she's a great person too um and even at the Cenote right it's like it makes it seem like we have the conversation about my favorite book and then it it's just writted like it's done it's thrown it's you know like she said like threw the fish back or whatever no like you can see it too like when there's the whole Harry and Melinda thing me and Holly are sitting down having another conversation and so I remember talking to Holly and Holly's like what is it what is it like what is it with you like and I was nervous watching it back being like [ __ ] is this going to make me look like um look like I'm flirting too much I'm not being loyal to my relationship with a lease but Holly was putting it like on me and I was like Holly I like don't get me wrong like I think that you're stunning and if I was going to explore anything with anyone else in this house it would be you right but what I think that I'm sitting on right now with Elise I think that she is my perfect match but if there was anything to obstruct the match between me and Elise meaning that like if Elise wanted to call it quits or if you know I had another conversation with you and maybe or more conversations with you and I felt like you were more of a fit for me uh that would be the deciding factor but unfortunately like what we have right now is this [ __ ] Cote boy day um and I have haven't gotten the time to talk to you too much I mean we had a conversation too when she first came that night um with Melinda and uh yeah like I guess what am I going to I'm trying to find the right words to say about this I was treating like I said to go back right to have this come full circle I was literally treating I might have been wrong but I was treating the relationship with Elise like a relationship I would treat in the outside world right right and I wasn't going to let a little bit of eye candy a little bit of flirtation throw me off track right okay and so at that point in time too you're like okay I have something special with someone um I'm having great conversation with this person but is this a last Stitch effort to get into the house like do they really want to be with me or they just stroking my ego to get into the villa and I'm not saying that any of them were doing that I'm just saying those are the thoughts that you're having in the moment right so you're like you have something so special and you see it [ __ ] all the time you have something special with someone why would you throw it away for a little bit of lust right a little bit of new trim and so that was the last thing that I wanted to happen because I like I said like I I didn't want to be that guy so um I guess to round it all out me and Holly had a wonderful uh time there like we had great conversation here's the tea me and Holly coupled up that night after me and Elise split yeah what what we we see nothing we see nothing you don't see anything you don't see uh a little bit of uh yeah yeah so we might have shared a cheeky moment together um and then uh yeah I ended up dipping I got yelled at for doing it too for dipping here's the thing all right this is the bottom line people don't think I had a conversation with the leas too I did right me and Holly have a moment after I just get kicked to the [ __ ] curb right so what do I do I turn into douchebag me I'm like I need to I need to uh [ __ ] get someone else like immediately right and uh cuz we quite literally had 15 minutes to match up with someone else right I go over to Holly I'm like Holly like you want to couple up she's like not really like that's not really too endearing like that's not a very like sensible approach yes another come to moment like like Justin what are you doing so then me and Holly sit down we have a conversation I'm like Hey listen I think that you're wonderful I think if I was going to explore anything El with someone here it would it would have been you so then we shared a cheeky little kiss and then Elise uh I was like upset about it and so then Holly I was like kind of like like you chose your match like just own it you know what I mean cuz at that point she chose Brighton right yeah she chose Brighton okay and so I don't know why they had not like coupled up or went to bed yet they were still there okay and so then me and Elise sat down and I we talked about it and she said the same thing that she was kind of saying before like you know like what is this I'm like you matched up with someone else like you I know that like you got to let like you got to let this go right you have you have to own your decision right and she's like oh I could be making the biggest mistake and I'm like that's not on me that's you and you need to that decision that's fine and there was conversation about like what about me being your person and I was like you know what Elise you're right you were my person I told you that I was going to leave this Villa uh with you by my side or by myself and if you don't want to do this you know what you know you're right like a lot of things just came into fruition at that moment I'm like I'm not going to falsify any any interest any connection with someone that uh I don't have it with and I'm going to leave and so I finally left in that moment and that's when you see me take off but the funniest thing about it was me being also a drunk idiot in the moment went to the door after saying bye to everyone and turned around and I saido and I left and then the producer was like Justin great exit but you realize bi bito means welcome in Spanish so I was like [ __ ] can I do that again no no yeah no welcome and then you're leaving you're leaving uh awkward that's like nickolet when he sees Alaris crying and he just closes the screen door on her anyways and leaves That Sent Me to the Moon um okay that was massive massive tea which brings me to did anybody else couple up then that we didn't see I don't know I think no I think I was the only one because listen I I regret not staying and trying things with Holly for sure um but I was trying to trust my gut and what I felt like I did in the moment did not feel like me whatsoever like immediately to get kicked to the curb and then go and you know kiss someone else right I'm like is this me trying to get back at someone like it's just like it doesn't feel right this doesn't feel like me and I was like kind of really disgusted with the the way that I treated that situation and talking about Foundation like if me and Hollywood to build on something that's not the right foundation I didn't go about that in the right way whatsoever and so I'm thinking about my sisters and I'm thinking about if someone treated my sisters like this like so yeah respectfully I was like Holly like you know what let's chalk this one up to timing too um I'm sorry like this is a lot for me right now uh as much as I want to stay and be Mr douchebag and you know mingle and do my thing with other women I can like I'm hurt right now and I just like want to be alone essentially right I want to go back to the hotel I want to [ __ ] call my mom and I want to get grounded and and that's what I did and uh and so then there was like talks about returning and you know it was a back and forth forth But ultimately I think leaving was the right decision so okay so you left I'm going to go back to that but first I want to go back for one second you're sitting there with Holly and Holly's like oh they just kissed meaning Harry and Melinda did you see it happen well no I didn't see it happen and I I don't know well well here's the thing though too you have to ask Holly about this because I don't know if Holly if Melinda said that they just kissed because or she said something to Holly because where Harry and Melinda were in that situation was very much in the middle of filming yeah and they're saying the kiss happened in the woods and so if they had kissed right there that would have been caught on camera right I don't know if Melinda said that she kissed uh Harry to Holly or something like that got it but uh no I don't think the kiss H I think that was like a weird part of the edit um but Holly does say that which uh like obviously feeds into it but to my understanding they're saying that they kissed in the woods and the woods were like deep farther back from where they were coming from initially where they were walking from so I didn't see anything like got it I didn't see the kiss nor did I see what had like turned around and I saw Harry carrying Melinda and I go oh what's going on there MH and then turn back around got it and then Holly goes they just kissed so okay that makes sense I know knowing how guys relationships work because I've been around so much I want to know yeah like here's what I want to know so in my experience when something like this happens the guy Harry would usually be like hey boys we're not mentioning this like like this this is this is something where when it's brought up like we're not saying if I tell Jessica then so be it but we're not going to say anything if asked about it and I feel like Harry asked everyone to not say anything can you confirm or deny was any conversations had like we're not going to discuss this did he ask any everybody to not tell Jess no well no because I think the only person he said something to is Chris and you see that and he's like oh I just [ __ ] up I did something bad yes um but no and then like all the people are like oh that's typical like you know guys defending guys totally I said that I had no idea right and so then like people are asking me now to speak up on it oh gosh I didn't see it go down it I have no idea I'm not going to speak on something that I didn't see got it and then like the hairy Fanboy allegations come and I'm like listen guys I this is what I'll say about the situation right like we that whole day happens we have fun we do our thing um and then we go back and then there's we're playing Uno in the [ __ ] van like just not even talking about we were talking about how like the girls were upset with us cuz the girls were upset with us um should I shut this is this light too much that's better um so we're talking about the girl and um cuzz the girls were all super upset uh at us after that cuz we were they were they didn't think that we were having too many conversations well here's where I was kind of uh I'm rambling now but like we're in that situation I'm like this is great like I'm in Paradise I'm what a girl that I [ __ ] adore and I'm having a fun time like like would like do I need to do anything else like I was enjoying my time there and then at the end uh a lot of the girls were like calling us out because we weren't necessarily like too apt to having conversations with them right um and I guess maybe we should have and maybe made more of an effort to talk to different people like I said I feel like I was treating it like an outside relationship right um but that's what we were talking about in the car on the way home and uh the van and then Harry felt sick and then he went to his room and you see me talking to Jess about it and so Jess is like what's going on right now and so then in the moment like I see Jess is stressing out and I'm like no like hey like Harry's he's not he didn't go back with anyone else or didn't do anything like he's just he's in his room yeah so uh that was that but yeah it it was like a like I had I had no idea I had legit no idea do you feel like you covered for him a little because I feel like you know okay something with my girlfriends happens and and I'm talking to their partner I did 100% hear someone say that she kissed someone earlier but I'm like no like she's good she's in the bathroom I can't not say that I wouldn't do it so I'm not asking you with like a layer of judgment but do you feel like sort of like in the back of your mind you were kind of like well I had learned my [ __ ] lesson with Cass right and I'm like I'm not going to speak on a game of telephone that I don't know got it got it I almost lost a friendship over that not almost lost it but I could have right I was like I'm not going to speak on it now me like normally in a situation like that like right if one of my best friends [ __ ] kisses someone else and he's in a relationship I will take heat for this and you can yell at me all you want that's not on me to say something that's on him to tell his [ __ ] girlfriend right and uh you can call me not a a gu's girl or whatever it is but like I really do um think that that's something that that that relationship shares same thing with like if I knew a girl was cheating on my guy friend I would say to her Hey listen you need to tell him this needs to come from you now what if the sad girl asked you friend is a sad girl said Justin you've been out with Blake a lot and I feel like he's being sketchy am I getting cheated on now you're in the predicament where you lie you can't remain neutral like you either lie okay then what I want to take I want to take ready this is going to be crazy but I want to take a back step too right because in the situation right what no one is addressing too is that everyone has strong feelings about the Harry situation and I completely understand like that whatsoever right but we were going into cot day and we were like production was like hey guys this is adorable this is actually really cute that everyone wants to [ __ ] stay with their matches but if you guys don't give us anything like recoupling you need to flirt like you need to do something like drive like let make this thing sell this thing so when there's talks about people flirting and [ __ ] going back and like I'm like yeah it's [ __ ] part of the show like I was flirting with Holly you know like it wasn't like to the point where I was like doing anything that right you know what I mean yes but yeah on the yeah if this was like the outside world right and someone came up to me and they said Hey listen Justin yeah uh you know I adore you and you're uh your uh I don't know your perspective but um is my boyfriend cheating on me and he was cheating on her and she pulled up receipts and stuff like that I still be like hey I think you should have this conversation with your boyfriend got it you would still defer back to sender that's what you would say yes I'm like I feel like that is pretty like I mean if he wasn't cheating on you I'd be like no he's not cheating on you okay got it but you're like you should go ask him maybe you should just have a conversation with him see what see what he has maybe you should just check his laptop you know what I mean just kidding we don't condone that but yeah okay I had hit that cuz I like just cuz I'm curious like that was literally more for me I feel like that's it's a hot button topic right now so valid okay so Harry has the kiss that was like the biggest thing at boy day um you confirmed what Harry said on like boyfriend material his podcast anyways which was basically like production was like get it going not a million dollar show for nothing like do something so that makes sense now I want to ask some questions about the couples in general this is is like kind of where we're going to like wrap I have 10 questions and they're sort of they're not like superlatives but I'm just going to ask you which couple does this and you tell me who yeah let's do it which couple caused the most drama whether you because you saw it there or just your perception watching like like like them being together caused drama or them themselves were the ones that were causing drama um them them like they caused drama amongst others that's a good question I don't know I feel like everyone was very uh I guess pretty cynical in terms of their own relationship I mean maybe there was people trying to I don't know maybe like certain individuals were but I don't I don't think you can't pick like a couple I don't think you can pick a couple okay which individual was trying to stir the most drama whether they're just producers favorite so they're doing it to be entertaining or whether they're just yeah I mean like Brighton was doing it on purpose right I think like Brighton and he owns that like that's Brighton you know he was like telling people different things and he was like and like yeah I mean at the end of the day like like I said it's it's like what the conversation we're having about surviving Paradise yes like yeah own it and he does and that's him and I get it and like kudos to him he [ __ ] worked it and he got back on the show because of it but uh I'd say bright I think Brighton them they're like dming the girls too from outside the uh outside the hotel being like trying to stir the pot up too yeah Brighton was a man on a mission so I'd probably say Brighton okay well and we're going to go back to Brighton too because I have a question about him and at leisa's relationship at the end before we wrap um which couple did you feel like was the most genuine meaning you felt the connection you think they really liked each other who uh St andara okay I mean that was like that's Mom and Dad and uh they were great and um like stev's one of my best friends arar is just like the sweetest girl ever and uh like watching them like they were like the Beacon of Hope in terms of like relationships in the house like this show could have something special like this show could uh lead to something special special on the outside world and uh that that was that yeah I'm trying to think if there was someone else though that I was like wait this is actually I really like this um Cass and Micah uh Christina Nigel I really didn't get to see Christina Nigel but like the Cass and Micah I'm like what they have is strong if they keep returning to each other yes but I didn't think it was going to be sustainable in the outside world but I did like their I did like their relationship okay going back into it which couple do you think should have won the finale star no doubt in my mind star I think I'm with the majority of people and uh we all agree that too but I guess I I think I could talk about it now because uh uh we they released it today on Netflix the status of the couples they did um Christina and Nigel like I think were together for a decent amount of time I want to say it was like 9 months or something they tried to make it work whatever but T yeah so not to say that they weren't a strong couple but I think St and should definitely won I'm so curious what happened between them but I won't ask you that question so that you're not the person delivering the tea but I'm like I I watched it right before interview and it's like seeing that they're now blocked and that things went wrong I'm like how St and AA no well themr Nigel yeah because everyone's blocked apparently like say like Christine blocked Nigel and then aara blocked Ste yeah there's crazy stories about that too I don't know I think I'll save it because I think Christine says she's coming out with the video on Monday about it okay good um but uh I don't know what I to my understanding St just kind of ghosted a lot yeah that's what I heard rightfully so she was hurt by it but I don't know everybody got ghosted I'm about to make a video after this like who didn't get ghosted like like you you didn't get G ghosted no I didn't but I still didn't get ghosted there we go that matters um which couple did you think would still be together did excuse me generous people that like I've met like trust me I wanted to go into that show and when I saw him I was like I'm going to [ __ ] hate this kid this kid stands for everything that I don't like in life and when I tell you like he's of my best friends and like he is obviously has his you know people are polarized on on their thoughts of Harry uh yeah I I get it but like going back to him and Jess too like I I I thought that like that was kind of special like they they really did like each other and Jess is amazing too like Jess is such a sweet girl and uh I thought what they had was was pretty real but okay so maybe you need to like have Harry come on my podcast like I don't even know if he would but like yeah because like okay then let me have a Q&A with him let's get to the bottom of this let's find out if you're still weaponizing your therapy speak or if you've learned and let's let's get through it I would just have a couple of questions for him I think yeah I think something to be said listen guys in our 20s going through our lothario stages I think it's normal I think everyone get it out of your system it's tough to answer that now because I feel like no one in that house is ready for a relationship but I I'd say Izzy if anything I feel like Izzy has the right intentions um he was on love was blind too so he was you know looking for love so I'd say is is he's always looking for something he just never finds it you know what I mean like he's just always so he's just bot um in the house um do you think in hindsight this is where I'm going to end around here do you no I have two this I have one question do you think Brighton used a lease I mean maybe like again I wasn't there I was gone when that it happened but yeah like you see at the end like I think Brighton was trying to exploit the vulnerable uh the vulnerable parts of the show right and I think once he he saw that inch that police had given him at the Cenote like interest and um you know there was like which is crazy to say that I was boring I feel like if anything I was not boring I feel like I was the complete opposite of it but uh I think he saw that and and tried to exploit it and I think he did the same thing with Micah and uh knowing that maybe Micah had doubts about uh's loyalty right and um do I think that he used I can't say I don't know I know that he ghosted her too and uh that he's with someone that looks very different than Elise was but then again like you know I guess types and you know aesthetic like you can't really go talk too much about that if like there's a personality difference I think what he says is that he said he saw a different personality trait her saw different personality trait from her after the show which I don't necessarily understand what he was talking about maybe I'll have to have a conversation with him about that but yeah get the tea um yeah I don't know I I really don't know I feel like I don't know it's it's Brighton you never know with him you never know that I can and I feel like that's a fair statement okay so we'll leave it ambiguous we don't know but we we we don't we don't we don't not think it happened well what I'll everything seems wonderful and your feelings are genuine and like you do think you have a connection and then it's true like I it I know what people say if there's a will there's a way but sometimes you just go back to your life and you realize like reality TV it's not necessarily A microcosm of the real world it's reality TV it's it's not necessarily too real but not to say that there can be genuine connections formed from it but like me and SK we're just two different people and we existed in two different lives and um yeah so I don't know I like that there was something maybe there was something there but you know I guess I don't know it dwindled I like the reflection um can you tell us why weren't you at the finale yeah I mean I wasn't at the finale because well here's the thing right me showing up to the finale just now just doesn't make sense and then too but like what am I going to do sit there and be spiteful and and come at people and you like that's not me whatsoever right I'm sitting there and there's however many couples up there that say that they have genuine feelings for each other and like who am I to be like sitting in the peanut gallery making comments about whose affection is real and who's trying right like the winner gets a [ __ ] vacation with their match I'm sorry if I'm there and I'm sitting next to someone that I don't [ __ ] really care for uh I'm not going to be really you know going balls to the wall trying to convince people that like yes they should vote for us cuz the last thing I'd want to do is spend a vacation with someone that I didn't care for yes um so I mean like like that was the thing like if you're with your match and you know you like that person I think it's great you know if I was there I would have just gave [ __ ] words of affirmation and been like you guys look so cute but what I wasn't going to do was sit there and be like Elise like you didn't pick me and I'm so hurt by it like no that's not me like if someone doesn't want you let this be known if someone doesn't want you or doesn't see the value in you don't try any more so than you were before to try to like get convince them to like you yes because you know what there is uh a sea of other people in this world and one eventually that's going to like you for you uh regardless of the person you are what you bring to the table so I was back home I was [ __ ] I don't know I think I was with my buddies and we were just having a good time and I was trying to find my perfect match back in Boston there we go so did they let you like can you can you say did they let you make that decision and what is it like is it optional like did they say who wants to come to the finale or what no I think everyone everyone was supposed to like go to the finale it was encouraged to go to the finale I had the conversation with production about it and we actually both came to the agreement like there was talks about there was talks about me going back and going on dates and they're like do you want to go on a date with this person and I was like no doesn't feel like it's what's it's the last day one day like why yeah I actually liked you so much this entire time I just never told you yes yeah you know so it just it didn't feel right and then production was like yeah it is kind of weird just to [ __ ] like I don't know like I think production too was like yeah like you made your decision I think you should own it as well you're also kind of like you're sort of boring like to be honest you're a little bit too positive you're actually so unpr problematic that you're bring any spice whatsoever to The Finity like Nick back to Boston yes yeah you go back to Boston we already have one unpr problematic person because nickolet barely says anything either you know what I mean well Nick I was watching it back and I was like did I wait what when did I pass away he was like Justin will be missed I wrote that down I'm like it was giving funeral it was giving funeral I was like when did I when did I pass away be always remembering Justin isada like I'm like yeah exactly well I talked to Harry about it too and Harry was kind of pissed about the situation he was like I just really wish they dug into Elise more about that whole situation with with you and Elise yes that's what I wanted to be here yeah but then again like but then like what though she wanted to be with what is there to say like she wanted to be with like what yeah like like I said like maybe there was like a different like I wish if anything changed to about it and I wish she had done anything I just wish she told me earlier like I I respected the decision but I was like you're giving me 15 minutes girl yes like at least give me heads up but like I said me and Elise are cool like we hung out in LA and oh good yeah I no she's uh she's you know what I mean I don't it's it there's no like I I'm not no bad blood no bad blood yeah okay well thank you so much
