Justice Clarence Thomas used funds for trips in 2019

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas officially disclosing that trips he took in 2019 were paid for by a GOP mega donor. Thomas said these were simply gifts that were personal hospitality from a friend and he inadvertently omitted them from financial disclosure forms as required by law. But critics raised questions about the ethics and transparency of the court after information about the trips were first published by Propublica Thomas did not disclose travel expenses which included a private jet, nor did he disclose the cost of time that he spent on a yacht as he traveled in Asia.
