Jupiter Farms, Out And About

[Music] hello everyone well it's been about five years since we moved here jupiter farms and we don't regret our move and we spent 30 years in key largo and this is a nice change we're in the woods we're north of west palm beach we're south of vero beach and we're in the woods like i said a nice nice and quiet but we're only 15 minutes away from the madness and the malls so i'm going to take you for a little ride in the golf cart and we'll show you around jupiter farms so let's go let's take a ride see ya this is jupiter farms it is surrounded by wetlands and protected areas just west of the turnpike and 95. there [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] this used to be burt reynolds ranch bert sold it years ago and they are developing high-end homes on it this is where it is in relationship to where we live which is fairly close [Music] [Music] bird had a small plain landing strip here he used to fly in and he married lonnie anderson right here on his ranch [Music] there's about 35 high-end homes built in here and they are now all sold we looked at this one and we looked at the next one you about to see beautiful i mean magnificent interiors the problem is even though this is a jupiter farms it's an entity of its own and they have an hoa which does not allow motorhomes boats trailers nothing else so that squashed it for us although the homes are magnificent inside [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] this is the town and country feed store it's on jupiter farms road it is owned by burt reynolds [Music] [Applause] [Music] when you get down some of the side roads and jupiter farms you'll find some amazing houses this one here just is incredible this is trail wood this is another small entity and jupiter farms one road in one road out and it's absolutely beautiful in there there's a home that we looked at when we first came up here looking for homes and i'll point it out to you in a minute this is trail wood situated just off indian town road you can see one road in and one road out and in relationship to where we did buy this is our home and trail wood is right around the corner you got to go up to indiantown road and there it is [Music] [Applause] [Music] do [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] this really is a beautiful community every house is well kept [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] this was the house that we first looked at uh very very nice inside the big problem with this house was there just wasn't enough ground for the motorhome all the toys that we have only had a one double car garage but the house itself was magnificent and landscaped very nicely [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] leaving trail wood we head on back out to indian town road and we'll make a right-hand turn this is the elks lodge right on indian town road in the publix shopping center it is also the only bar in jupiter farms this is where we take our doggies for the great care that they give them uh everything is convenient it's only a couple miles from home this is the publix supermarket there's a few stores in there and one little italian restaurant called angelo's now this is going to be hard to believe but this is the napa auto parts store and you'd never know it would you but that's uh the way things have to be in jupiter farms they have to uh fit in in the environment [Music] [Applause] [Music] lots of people love horses and there's plenty of horse owners out in jupiter farms there's plenty of places to ride they've got big pastures big fields lots of land just a great place [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] all right these are my two buddies i try to get over every day take them some carrots give them some attention i really look forward to seeing me now hi babies how are you [Music] how are you how are you you got fries over here hang on a minute hang on a minute okay buddy boy you is super friendly you guys are super friendly they're tough aren't they huh that one's not smart come on get your movie taken yeah [Music] buddy [Music] [Applause] [Music] well that was a pretty good tour i hope you enjoyed it there's more to see but uh you're probably poured out of your mind about now take care see [Music] you
