what's going on everyone chomping knees and things here let's clean this Jade yes so first things first you want to remove the receiver pin that's the one in the back and then there's the pivot pin this is one that holds it in the front letting you just exposed the buffer right back here and you're gonna have to remove that there's a little buffer retention pin with a spring underneath that's holding that buffer in place so go ahead and press that down the little screwdriver or something and pull the buffer and spring out just like that and then I'm gonna check the inside of the buffer to pin see how dirty it is I just run a little cleaning pad in there and it's not really that dirty you can blow it out though the fit is dirty you could go ahead and wallow it out with that thing but I'm basically just cleaning the inside parts of the lower receiver here you can see all of the gloves a hammer and spring that's mostly what I'm were concerned about right there is the hammer in the spring making sure that's cleaned it's not dunked up and it's nice and lubed when I'm finished but there's a magazine catch spring and a trigger and spring and a bolt catch release and spring a lot of little springs in there but you can see these little metal shavings on my finger that fell down in there from firing around so I'm just kind of making sure I get all of that board out and cleaned out if you got some compressed air sprayed in there now I'm using some q-tips to kind of wallow around in there to pick up all those little pieces of debris and stuff I've sprayed some cleaner on them now I'm looping it up with the oil I'm pushing that hammer back and pulling the trigger and making sure that spring is nice and lubed up I don't want to have any problems with that later on down the line and making sure there's like I said no debris in there it's gonna hang that thing up now just running my rag up through the magazine I've already cleaned all the magazine catch and everything so here I am just pulling the bolt out and the charging handle yeah watch that's how you you have to take it out you pull it out and down and then I'm just spraying some cleaning solution on my little wire brush here and running that through the barrel while airing it around a little bit trying to get all that gunpowder off the inside of the barrel and can't really tell now but once I put this on you will be able to tell once I put the little cleaning pad on there you're gonna push that through once and don't pull it back through because if you do you're gonna pull all of that crud you see how dark that is how filthy that is if you pull it back through you're gonna pull all that crud back through the barrel so I took it off in that opening then I pulled the little handle there through wiped it down and now I'm gonna put some more cleaner on it and push it back through the other end and repeat those steps now there is an AR cleaning kit that I would recommend buy and this is just a regular shotgun kit but then you put the little pads on there and do the same thing push it up through you push the little patch up through there take it off and rinse and repeat basically just keep pushing them through and taking them off until they come out clean and then you know I'm gonna check the end of the barrel there there's a little bit of crud there so I'm gonna grab that little cleaning pad that I had and just kind of shove it in the upper receiver here you know right behind that dust cover and just get all of that gunpowder and crud off of there but I've got the barrel clean and that's what I was doing what this was cleaning the barrel and just making sure all of those parts or any moving parts or Springs or anything are cleaned and move freely and are nice and lubed and I do the same thing with the choke just clean the choke to whatever choke you're using the same way you would the barrel why can't I excess cleaner off and there's the bolt assembly and I'm not taking the bolt assembly apart this time you can get to the bolt head you can get to the breech block you can get to the extractor just spray everything down on there I'm cleaning it with some I'm cleaning it here with a toothbrush and then I'm gonna use my little wire brush after that I wasn't sure about that elastic pin in there some will do a little more research first before I go trying to take the bolt assembly completely apart this was good enough for this time there just give that bolt head of good clean and you're gonna have some cred built up on that yeah okay you see the little openings there and there's a little hole on the bottom also but it's this didn't look exactly like you know the traditional AR bow as you can see this was this bolt assembly is definitely longer that's why you have to have that long buffer tube so that this bolt assembly will have somewhere to go when you fire and then and there's the back side of the firing-pin there but um it's got a little spring on it where you can move it um but so yeah I'm just wiping all that down getting all the crud off of that and Lube that up real good and then I'm also doing the same thing to the charging handle there's a little spring there and I found that my finger would get a little blister on it from pulling that so I went ahead in a loop that a little bit as well you want to loop that charging handle a little bit just so it slides back in because now watch the way I'm putting this back in you want it you have to go underneath I just slide it in and then pull it up at a certain point boom just like that and now you can push it forward of course you have to have it hanging out a little bit in order to line it up now this bolt assembly see all the little grooves there this bolt assembly is only gonna go in one way and I think the extractor which is right there has to be at 11 o'clock if I'm not mistaken so just line everything up like that line all those little grooves up stick the little uh top piece it's the piece that's next to the camp in there inside of the charging handle and shove it back in there and Boop it clicks right into place and I'm adding a few more drops of oil in there as well I wanted to get I wanted to make sure that hammer is nice and lubed up put some on your pins also your two pins you know you want them to be able to move freely as well you don't want them falling out though but then you just put your pivot pin in there first you know then smack it down and put the receiver pin back in and now I'm gonna be charging it and letting it go a bunch here making sure I get that all nice nicely distributed okay I wanted to tell you about this this is the bolt catch you can that's the magazine will push that up and catch the ball but if you want to you can reach on the inside of the lower receiver there where the mag goes in you can push that up but see what happens when you push the magazine in and you pull that charging handle back now the ball catches so if the magazines out if you want it to catch you have to reach inside and push it up with your hand there's a there's a seat and a spring inside that little mag case also but I put a little bit more oil in there and I'm just sort of charging it and firing it just making sure that all spreads out nice and evenly this is basically some of the most important moving parts there you know I didn't do anything to do with the gas system whatsoever make sure you close that dust cover and I will be taking that gas system apart next time and I will be taking the bolt assembly apart next time as well so there's my nice thing cleaned up jts m12 AR y'all keep watching like and subscribe if you like this content look for my other stuff that I've got posted on my channel as well and I'll see
