JOURNEY TO DALLAS: APARTMENT HUNTING 1 BED, 1 BATH UNDER $1300

[Music] [Music] hey y'all welcome back to my channel my name is mia if time clicking on one of my videos go ahead and hit that subscribe button down below so in today's video i am oh i just got a headache i am going to be looking at apartments so that is what we're doing today i am moving to dallas so this is going to be my journey into a dallas um hopefully i can turn this into like a series or whatnot but yes we're going to be looking at some apartments today and i'm going to be down here for like 10 days so it's going to be you know apartments over this course of time so i hope you guys enjoy the video yeah let's just get into it we usually do have the tvs and everything but just to cover and now we have to keep them up for the remotes okay we have two pools on property we have a lounging pool we have a sports pool on the other side okay so it gives you like two different type of atmospheres they look exactly the same the other one's just a little bit bigger and it has more grassy areas and everything our fitness center is 24 hours a day while you're working out okay just moved out but they're left they're very clean so it just smells like food a little bit because they were like the minikin and they're like oh really good okay so the 20 feet okay but this is the everything else is gonna look exactly the same okay as the balcony and stuff yeah it would have to read my i don't go back and i emailed it to her okay did i put it on that paper for you um no i think you didn't know [Music] maybe just because yeah [Music] [Music] is beautiful um for a girl i could work out here sometimes we have a stair master okay you know anything you need for your legs um freeways smith machine all those good things we'll send you a link online to reserve yes so this is your mail area so anything that is usps will come through here anything that is like amazon level will come through fetch okay all right so this is our pool it goes up to six feet you're more than welcome to throw parties here at night there's led lights it looks pretty pretty cool okay over here is our instagramable chairs like you call them i know a lot of people come down here take pictures they can't me my sister lives right there so i do that all the time so this is our girl are you a footballer or basketball girl no not really well if you do have friends that are we can change the tvs to that and the super bowl is tomorrow so by any given time if that was the case would change the tv for you you'd have a party we have a sink anything that you need for cooking to keep your food warm or cool like a microwave ice machine okay and all the amenities are first come first [Music] it's pretty big it has a really big space and also your living room your bedroom big space okay oh yes nice so it will be on the first floor um this one the eighth three no you said the the third okay okay sorry it's okay so you're actually not all units come with double showers so you'll have a standard shower with this one and a big bathtub for self-care cases i like to call them nice this will be your closet it is actually a really big closet okay yeah it's a nice house i have that extra space yeah i'ma need it no it looks pretty nice it's good this is the best to show but for sure i do like to show my people what they will get just so they can get an idea of when they're furniture because it does make [Music] and that's the washer and you said it does come with it right okay okay you do come with white washer and dryers okay if you have your own you can switch to yours no problem okay and then the balcony is does that open or is it just like uh oh the separate uh yeah okay and if it is still close by the time that you work here you're more than welcome to communicate you'd like for me to print or copy for you so all this area is closed right now okay but it will open up soon we just got to go for phase three okay looks nice and then you can close this up if someone is in here and you want to have your space we'll exit this way okay so this is if you want to host a meeting and you have zoom class anything like that right in front of us is our yoga studio it is my favorite favorite place ever just because the lighting is super bomb [Music] okay right so right now we're actually going to enter your actual focus okay so the clubhouse is the only amenity right now that you can build it out for other residents so if you want to go party the baby shower anything like that this is your place okay area where you can mingle from your family friends again you'll have the tv the ice machine you have a microwave you're switching it out okay and then you have your two tvs over here have this humongous classic where you can connect your console play music play pandora spot time dance with your family and yes we do have the chips okay and over here is the better that little area works oh this is very fast so if i miss anything oh no i can keep it okay this is nice no peeking we'll go down there once we're done this is my favorite amenity anything with food is my favorite so these are our colleagues as you can see they're pretty things easy very nice if you need any movers let me know as you can see essentially it has the same fixtures just different layouts okay you still have your country black cabinets by backsplash your i actually like this layout better i know a lot of people just say that the only reason why they do go to an a3 is the size of the bedroom or not that is something that you're more than welcome to choose yeah this is which one you rather risk yeah and this one is on the first floor you said um i think i did have one on the first and on the third oh okay so this one's actually one of my favorite because it is the water view all of these units are taken up unfortunately because everyone loves the laundry but for residents we do have an area over there where you can sit down come escape your apartment and enjoy the water view okay so which one is this one facing um well i'll have to go downstairs and check just because i think they're in the second building i really like those courtyards because even though they are courtyards they're open instead of closed you know you don't feel trapped but you will see the land that we have right there the landscape and a little bit of the freeway okay yeah the room is a little smaller but don't be tamed just because it does fit a queen sized bag this is very furnished i don't know why they added so many things that thing in the back takes some space up yeah i'm trying to like imagine it being empty this is the 3.3 this is the a2 the one that we looked at it's just the layout actually it's a little bit different [Music] so you won't get these cabinets so they're the only fixtures for the fifth floor what cabinets those cabinets oh these finishes you'll get the standard right racks that you sold okay okay all right and how much was this one this one is 12.93 1293 okay are you a coffee girl yeah i drink well i got a carrot so we do have a starbucks in the shade oh okay i'm here right it's free for residents it has hot chocolate and coffee okay that's nice oh another area oh this are you saying about the okay this is nice okay okay this is really nice [Music] get the problem you got the hole yeah yeah i was in here this morning proper pending lockers dhl amazon fedex ups those items will come here it'll send your phone a code to be plugged in that code to retrieve your package oh okay i actually have a package oh okay so people like to come here and get work done okay um it's 10 p.m on weekdays 11 pm okay that looks nice once it's done up okay that's cute okay was it painted in the other one no okay but you can paint okay that's nice it's really nice this one has carpet so we're converting all of our apartment homes to uh hardwood all the way throughout do you prefer carpet uh no i prefer hardwood i mean the bedroom i like carpet but throughout i do like the hardwood so but this is cute bathroom's huge [Music] um [Music] okay yeah a little outdated but oh yeah i think i chose this one because it was so big i think that's why so i was like i still want to look at it huge mirror big oh super big i'll see if i need his face it's all carpet though i know right i like it what are you saying it reminds me of the place i'm at now kinda don't it don't it kind of reminds you of it a little bit and i mean i feel like the lighting is pretty decent you know it's not too bad it's just the appliances a little you know need to be upgraded but um it's a lot of space what's over here oh this is the washer and dryer area but it's huge apartment i mean like how hers is i'm trying to let me get the lights on you go upstairs i was like where is the restaurant i'm dead now where's the rest of it i like this you like this garage oh it comes in a garage i think so it's just little in this um living room area maybe feels a little too bad wrong okay but dang it [Music] okay let me get up there we're gonna go we got this one it's nice you like this little small one very much let me see if they got a a bigger one that's like this you know cause this is a little too small for me but you know he's smiling for one person yeah for sure i'm just saying like as far as what i'm trying to do with my place i need a little bit more room but the bathroom is cute though huh yeah it's too bad it's only yeah it's only 700 square feet i thought she was about to stay safe i would say girl and nah not 700. [Laughter] yeah that's cute yeah and then i really didn't know i mean he picked out like a bunch for me to choose from this was one that was on my list that i like hearted yeah right because the way the stairs was made it seemed like you could just tumble down these things i've got a little balcony lisa back in the big number oh yeah you can't even step on here this is i like it so i just wish it was a little bigger okay this is nice that's the washer and dryer right there okay you said they do come yeah okay all of them do okay it's nice what do you think about this one logan looks nice talking in the april um now usually we have the model fully set up but i think we just moved it out of another unit okay this is cute [Music] that's all i need is i'm like this is really nice it's so bright in here and i love the cabinets too it looks really good that is available or whatever right now we aren't renting it but we do have potential to rent it in the future just trying to be conscious but usually we offer like if you were to ever have a full party or a small gathering you could rent it out um okay yeah it's nice oh this is where we would just say i'm like i don't even realize that it's easy to get turned around okay yeah that's nice and then we have people in the gym right now okay okay does it go all the way around or it's just like this that's just the full size oh just a little area okay all right [Music] it's already uh you can rent it out for 250 flat for the entire day not per hour and you can hold it until midnight uh regardless you'll get free wi-fi in here as well as all the major common areas including the pools uh we've got the rest of the kiosk in case you want to submit a work order right and all that guy is available online so you can do it from your phone and tablet top of our computer but you can use this that has a card reader so it's a lot easier to insert the card versus typing in every number and all that address okay just try to give you guys different options this convenience is key of course sorry if you just want to laptop or using the powerful computers you're welcome to do so they're already hooked up to the printer so if you ever need a quick print by audience a landing area and two conference rooms are available both of them are just like this just the second one has a nice cool front view okay where's the switch it's on the outside oh that's right here okay this is nice you like it hmm more desk oh this is super open it's already light and it's only on the first floor okay let's bring a little light in up there that's cute doing this [Music] shuffleboard tv the pool itself is awesome as well okay are you a golfer mm-hmm no we do have a caller you need to rent this out or you just come down whenever you want you can reserve it on the resident portal or just call and say is anybody using it nope very cool i'll try it out i'm bored yeah [Music] a more of a deeper look um i can see from here that's fine okay so this is the elevator second floor and again when the elevator opens just go to your left okay i actually like this it's cute i think i like house white cabinets the most it's really nice it's a cute fridge lit room is kind of small but it's cute i never understood i never understood why apartments make balconies facing other balconies who wants to see that no one yeah where's the light to the room oh there we go storage big closet now this one worked wait how would the beard even go in there yeah i don't like it the only thing i like about it is the kitchen so okay yeah okay it looks nice we have two grills down there pizza oven and then there's also a grill on the other side of the cave in the courtyard oh like through there yeah okay okay that's nice do you live in nearby already no i actually live in tennessee yeah i'm moving down here yeah how long have you been working um i've been here since last friday yes i'm leaving on monday i know right i'm like it's freezing all right so we have two computers in here a printer there is a conference table in there with a tv you connect your computer up to and then we also have the snack store in here okay and this room is also um 24 hours okay that's nice and there's this little snack area okay really wonderful i love it oh my god yeah it's really chill up here i spend so much money in there i'm such a snacker yeah i'm the opposite i'm not really a snacker but then sometimes i don't be on the full meal and i'll be like well dang i don't have any snacks in my house [Music] foreign [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] you
