Zachary Smith that we know this man we love to hate coward who would cower behind the little boy oh the brain save me William that's all him thank you my boy but with the premiere of Batman in January 1966 lost in space faced some heavy hitting competition from the Caped Crusader's to fight off the dynamic duo the colorful second season of the series heightened the focus on its own trusty trio Billy and the robot and Jonathan were let's face it they were outstanding we were all just finding our groove and it turned out that the character of dr. Smith and the character of Will Robinson had a great chemistry together kids watching at home also shared a bond with Jonathan's character they were thrilled by Smith's frivolous and childlike mischief things I love about dr.
