day I walked four miles through the snow to a little pawn shop where there was guitar in the window with a $5 price tag and although I didn't know it then my life started to change I started with three chords that a buddy taught me and I took an old folk song and started to try to learn to accompany myself on the guitar the first one I Learned was C Jimmy crack corn and I don't care number two chord was G7 Jimmy crack corn and I don't care back to seat Jimmy crack corn and I don't care and there's F that's the big biggy the hard one the Master's gone away I spent 3 years in Germany and my looking at the songs and we suddenly realized that that three of the biggest Christmas songs were made hits by one man I know what you mean and every country music singer owes something to the original singing Cowboy Gan arrey that's right I know that someday you'll want me to want you when I'm in love with somebody L and in every Christmas season the memory of Gan alry comes back with three gold record hits Here Comes Santa Claus Here Comes Santa Claus right down Santa Claus Lane vix and BLS and all his reindeers pulling on the rain Bells Are Ringing children singing all is Merry and bright hang your stockings and say your prayers Santa Claus comes toight for the children the Snowman was a jolly happy soul with a corn C pip and a button nose and two eyes made out of coal Frosty the Snowman is a fairy tale they say he was made of snow but the children know how he came to life one day there must have been some magic in that old Silk hat they found or when they placed it on his head he began to dance around Frosty the Snowman was alive as he could be and the children say he could laugh and play just the same as you and me you know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen Comet and Cupid and Donner and biten but do you recall the most famous reindeer of a very shiny and if you ever saw it you would even say itow all of the other ree used to let and call him Christmas eve Santa came to say Rudolph with your nose so bright won't you guide my sle tonight then thee as they shouted out with the red no reindeer you go down in history you in history another
