A "remaster" via YouTube seems fairly pointless to me.
I did hear that Giant Steps is getting a 60th Anniversary reissue from Rhino. https://pitchfork.com/news/john-coltrane-giant-steps-gets-60th-anniversary-reissue/
Exactly what has been "remastered"? Is the underlying "master tape" transfer a digital transfer, as seems likely, e.g., the 1998 transfer by Bill Inglot released on CD by Atlantic/Rhino? Marketing aside, why?
