congratulations on an absolutely fantastic victory i mean i'm sure it's all still processing a little bit but what's the emotion for you like that after a win like that what what's the emotion like for you right now after a big victory like that emotion yeah it's a great feeling but uh dominic was the great opponent dominic was a great opponent he's a nice nice nice guy like a person because after the fight and before the fight i feel i felt from him [Music] just nothing no hate no just pure fighting and that's all about this and that's i like that i like can you talk about the way you felt coming in here i mean already in a main event people talking about titles maybe i mean were there nerves was there a different feel tonight yeah a little bit nervous but uh for me it's not um [Music] these uh title shots and [Music] and the fighting and matchmaking for me is not so uh like uh not so important for me it's uh important the journey to the enjoy the tough opponents enjoyed the share the cage with uh with the hard opponents and that's what about i that's why i like it and and this fight was was great yeah and but i enjoyed that and i enjoyed that i enjoyed the dominic's fight iq yeah that that was the nice i have new new uh new new skills new uh new things what i need to to learn how what i need to work for yeah i know one of your goals was not to get hit very much uh you did take a few shots it was a very exciting background yeah yeah but but did you see my uh blocks my blogs my defend did that in first fight that wasn't yeah but that was the that was okay there is not so much defend in this fight but uh that was all my that was my half year work so please i just wondered if you if you thought that you you executed well or if you felt like like you said there's always things you can work on and get better right so did you feel like that was amazing or did you think i i've still got to fix some things i still had a gun to fix some things was there a point in time where you realized it seemed like you gained confidence as time was going on did you realize that his power wasn't going to be enough to stop you and that you could go forward [Music] how to how to say the uh how to say this uh uh this uh when i when i was uh when he was a little bit how to say that uh like wobbly a little bit or hurt huh wobbled yeah he was when he was wobbly he countered me uh when he come yeah that was the that's the that's the big learning from this fight uh when he was wobbly he countered me and very very well because because i felt like yes i i got him i it's he now now it's situation mine but he surprised me i think that twice twice or more in the fight and uh that's uh that's uh the big learning from from to the next fight the amazing finish with the spinning back elbow um was that something that you drilled at all or thought you could use or was that something that just just happened in the moment that was just a flow that was just a flow and and uh it's come just that's why i have this antenna to catch this to catch this ideas and last thing for me yuri i know you say it's the journey and you're not rushing things but a lot of people are saying you need to fight for the title uh tweeted at you saying let's let's fight i mean do you feel can you say i deserve the title shot i i have earned the chance to fight for the title yes i think i deserved that fight but because i'm so my my journey in the in ufc is so quick and i'm not uh enjoying that so so so much like i i want but uh i think yeah i think i deserve that that's that title fight yeah yuri uh to your right please over here to your right um would you say that that was the best finish that you've ever had in your career no so what was better than that what what is what was the better what was the better what was the better knockout better finish uh there is the there there was the much better uh better uh ending in my career in the fight uh because i haven't this fight under control all the time because the dominic surprised me many times and that's uh for the man like me it's not it's not good because i like to [Music] to to to be to be the best in these things yeah to be the best and when you mean something is the or somebody is the best and that was not that was not best really yeah so in answer to john's question before you said you have to fix some things and now you're saying this wasn't the best was it just the fact that you let yourself get countered a couple times or were there any other specific things that you look at that you say you need to be better at something some specific things yeah can you point out anything other than just preventing the counters that you think you need to get better at yeah uh i need to be because there was a so many chance to to end this fight earlier than it was so uh i don't want to be in the cage so long why why to to be so long and do this black bloodshed war yeah because that's not uh that's not mastery that's not mastery and uh i'm looking for for yeah that's i'm looking for the mastery and that wasn't the other thing you know you look like a master to me by the way but that was just uh your length uh seems to cause problems for opponents and is that something that you've always been good at you you know using your reach and your distance uh to uh give you the advantage in fights yes thank you thank you jiri uh jan blakovich says he would like to fight you in cheshire where cheshire i don't know check czech republic you mean well it's a town on the border of uh poland and czech republic called cheshire i don't know if you knew it obviously not my pronunciation my pronunciation but you said you want to fight the best fighters in the world what is it about jan blagovich that you admire about him one more time please what do you admire about jan blaukovich and why would you be excited to fight him oh because i'm blah i think he's the best in our division in the second round i think dominic reyes hit you with an up kick and it looked like you fell were you hurt by that up kick a kick yeah to your face from the ground to ah yeah yeah yeah that's true yeah i remember that i remember that and yeah this face find the target and and he showed a very nice work on the ground and uh and but that was on the ground and on the ground is when you are on the high position uh some punches from from the down it's uh not so much devastating like from from the upside yeah but yeah it was surprised a little bit yeah i i don't i don't uh took him uh like uh like he's dangerous but that and that was the mistake thank you thank you uh jury here this is your first time fighting the you in the united states in america uh how did you feel fighting here in las vegas even though there was no crowd there is a very dry oxygen like yeah yeah and that's all i like it i like this city and i like the the casinos i like the people here i like uh everything here because i was i was there two weeks before this fight to to little uh catch the catch the time and uh time change and uh what do you want to listen that was my other question with a finish like this with this knockout in such a high profile fight now that las vegas is opening up and we're getting arenas back in the u.s maybe your next fight will be here in an arena in the us something that you have never experienced in your career are you excited to get like a las vegas fight in a full arena for the first time in your career yeah sure yeah sure i'm i'm i'm excited from from from the united states because it's my last uh five years was in japan and this is the another world and and i like to share the my my style fighting in this beautiful uh country yeah thank you state hey yuri hey congratulations on the victory i just wanted to ask you a question two fights now with the usd without crowds how do you feel like with your without what need to work on my english how do you think you will feed off the energy of having thousands of people cheering i don't care i don't know i don't care but it's not the this is not the main uh that's not the main thing in in the in the fighting for me because the main uh thing is uh the the performance in the cage yeah and uh if it's their people or if if the people is not here that's that's not uh a reason to for my performance to be to keep it better or worse yeah well with your performance in the cage you got the fight of the night and the performance of the night a hundred thousand dollars what are you gonna do with that money i will buy some expensive car and crash it for something no i don't i don't know i don't know i need to pay my house my house still is i need to pay some money to my house and after that uh [Music] sometimes when i i i like i don't like to yeah i like the money my egos i like like the money to have everything the the girls the cars the uh the expensive ships and and the big parties yeah but uh the other side from myself wants to live just in the forest in the small house and practice day by day just practice and going for the mastery going for the mastery day by day nothing else that's i think that's the most realistic inside me jerry what could be your plan i mean i know you only have two fights in the ufc but we had michonne chandler fighting just after a fight for the title what could be your plans if you're not thinking in jan at the moment what opponent would you like to fight i mean you just beat two former uh contenders who you want to fight if not jan or are you even not if not the champion are you willing to wait for black copics to to to fight yes yes or i need to time now a little bit a little bit to to to uh rest to re not yet to rest to to enjoy the to be the ufc fighter to be in this uh the height highest leak and to to to use this uh skill from this uh fight with dominic to my training yeah to to to upgrade these mistakes and that's take time that will take a time thank you
