everybody we're back my next guests are here to perform a song from their brand-new album live at the Greek and you can catch them on their North American tour in August and September please welcome this is so cool Jimmy Page and the Black Crowes [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] everybody we are back I'm hitting with Chris and rich Robinson of course Jimmy Page and I'm my first question Jimmy I'm a I'm a guitar fanatic and you have backstage you are I guess you're using I was told you're still using the original guitars that you used when you're with Led Zeppelin is that true yeah that's true the it's a guitar actually I used to play a Fender guitar and Joe Walsh came out to me in the Fillmore in San Francisco said you've got to buy this guitar right you got to buy this guitar and it was just no support you know and he was right ever since you did quite well with the Les Paul yeah I think that worked out for you but what but it was amazed me as I came downstairs today and I went back and apparently one of those guitars that you used on the first Led Zeppelin album first - I think is leaning up against the wall no you know no one's guarding it do you ever don't you worry abouts do you have security for this thing I think the security goblin to the bathroom at that because I took it yeah yeah dipped it in caramel for no good reason how did this is a great collaboration this just works how did you have this come about actually we've been friends for for a while and we and then rich and I in our band the crows supported Jimmy and Robert in South America and some in Europe so we got to know each other hanging out and last summer a benefit concert came up and Jimmy we were gonna be in London at the time Jimmy you know said would you guys come you know be my band like not sure yeah everything again yeah does there ever a moment for you to where you you you're playing or when you first started doing it and you look over and not to embarrass you but I like to embarrass people where you look over and and get dawns on you that this is Jimmy Page and he's playing and we're all playing together and it's a little weird well we're consummate professionals so stop at one point just his first couple times playing I just stopped at 11 when you had the theremin out you know for them I was like okay this is really happening right did you who has the better touring stories between the between you guys my goodness like the Caesar Led Zeppelin on tour and seventies 90s I wonder who had more fun 70s Jimmy wouldn't be sitting here on an all-male panel I'd say Roman Greco Knight I'm sorry I did the best I could well Jimmy Page and the Black Crowes live at the Greek this is an amazing CD go out and buy this CD and I'm so thrilled that you guys thank made time for us and still no masturbating bear my second trip you better explain that to Jimmy he's alone concealed that's what we miss just masturbating bear all right guys this is all part of those two stories you I heard about the masturbating bear and Zeppelin yeah in 71 all right we're gonna take a break we'll be right back though stick around [Applause] [Music] summers here so grab a nut [Music] everybody that is our show but I do want to thank all my guests such a cool show stay tuned for later and we'll see you tomorrow bye bye [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music]

I got to see them at the Jones beach amphitheater, had second row seats. Absolutely amazing show. Too bad it all didn’t last longer.

I had tickets, but the show was canceled. The double disc live album is so killer— I think they sound awesome. Famously the only live Zep stuff where all the guitar parts are there due to the bigger band
