The thing that stood out the most in this podcast for me was when Jimmy said no one said anything during the film session. If it was an over exaggeration then I would expect JJ to interject. But how does a coach/point guard/leader not point out anything?
This hits different after that Finals run
Leadership is such an underestimated skill. Not surprised to hear what his experience is like in Philly vs the interview he has in Mia.
Stop we're already dead
Love this podcast
JJ looked very uncomfortable when Jimmy asked him if he was hard to work with lol
That βcontrol youβ shit is so fucking relatable man. Not to exaggerate or nothing but itβs a luxury to say fuck this and dip out out of a work situation, that I feel not many people have the option of doing. If you ever have that chance, donβt ever take it for granted.
that was actually really inspiring hearing him talk about how yesterday is done, you can't worry about what happens years from now because you can't truly control it. Just be the best version of you today.
