[Music] [Applause] [Music] the show is lalawood and i'm all at twitter and i'm excited and i should be on some sort of calming suppressant for i'm sitting with one of the great great stars of the metro era an era that i first came to years ago as a private secretary to charles nelson riley please say hello to the wonderful the legendary mickey rooney mickey rooney how are you thank you what was judy canelova like judy garland not judy canova oh my goodness you work with judy garland yes you worked with the wonderful you were you worked with the wonderful judy garland all the way oh what was two what was duty like i bet she was wonderful did you ever break into song mickey rooney i beg your pardon did she ever break in that song nikki really certainly oh what a wonderful voice yes wonderful vibrato that's right what were the metro classes like who was in the school rooms that was lana turner lana turner i love what a what a cupcake what a wonderful wonderful wonderful wonderful wonderful yes she certainly was you could say that again you did i love latitude i thought i thought that scandal in the 50s was a shame but what what what who else was in the room mickey rooney well judy garland julie garland and judy canova the wonderful jews no you're back to judy konova judy canova never went to school she never went to school because she was a hillbilly and they wouldn't educate hillbillies back then and that was just you you you know the answers before you asked not always for example i didn't know that you were in national velvet you didn't know no what did you play in that film mickey rooney i played my tailor taylor who hasn't let's talk about sugar baby what do you want to know about you the dancer that the for the slicked back hair the machogany hair that's right what's your name ann miller and miller difficult no mean magnificent testy no angry at the world not at all are these stories are these stories are your stories oh are these stories started are you with us are these stories started by the head hoppers and the louella parsons i don't know the different people that you meet mickey rooney they just get started you were in night gallery oh with it with joan crawford was jon crawford bitter no joan crawford was a lovely lady a lovely but i just see all the stories about the hangars and everything mickey i don't know anything about those you don't know well i'll get you the book and you'll be amazed you've done so many things tell me about belle bill you played this wonderful character about and you won a golden globe award i want a dummy and a golden globe and a golden you want an emmy and a golden globe and two or two oscars how does it feel to be a number one number one star in the whole world mickey rooney actually i didn't feel anything you didn't because you were sedated i have four children my wonderful wife dixie and of course my four boys morgan mason matthew and modine we've named them after i'm tremendous fan of matthew modi which is not the point of the story am i interviewing you or are you interviewing me i'm so confused because i'm overwhelmed by the star and the energy and when i thought i was going to be talking with you i couldn't believe it because i saw all those wonderful andy rooney movies you did andy rooney you were sitting there being a comedian and yet you had to go and talk to the judge oh my god you're in young tom addison anderson yes tom edison yeah with henry fonda no not what henry fonda i said weren't you with hank fonda don't know i've never played a picture with him you never made a fella do you do would you plan to no not not no oh that's a shame because i think it'll be an interesting energy well we've covered so much i loved you and i like it that way it's the messenger boy yeah i like it that way do you remember that no ah no does anyone you know that all told i've made roughly around about 400 pictures i would have to take uh some sort of speed reading chords just to cover all the things you've done because you've really done one yank and eating that happened to me once uh but that's another long story i don't want to bore you and of course i want to stay in the air too breakfast at tiffany's you were so wonderful with the wonderful audrey who i think was more more of a a scintillating angel from heaven than an actual person and i often wondered did audrey hepburn really exist yes she really did interesting well thank you very much mickey rooney the show is live galore you clown with it but it's serious and you're just wonderful i love you i'm thrilled don't do that with my that's no that's naughty [Applause]
