something are you ready okay without further Ado would you please help me welcome Jim Baker come [Applause] [Music] [Applause] on well so good to be here with you guys all I heard was that when she listens to my sermons it helps her fall asleep that's what I heard so so drink your coffee ladies and gentlemen who are here well my two favorite ladies are here uh first of all my bride of 30 years uh my best friend my balance Brer my fun injector always the prettiest girl in the room Mary Baker and a woman I feel like I owe my life to my mom is here as well and so uh so Mom there we go so I got a question for you what if healing is way easier than you think it's only hard if you think you have a whole bunch to do with it I'm not sure if you ever had like a little kid and uh you know they you're lifting something and they think that they're really helping you and they're like straining but you're doing all the work that's Healing Ministry here's our part Lay Your Hands on the sick and they will recover like we don't need a 80 part series on how to do that right but unfortunately religion and disappointment and experience have gotten the way so we got to kind of pull some weeds today so we can plant good seed but I've got some good news for you it's always God's will to heal amen we're going to be looking at that in scripture do you remember that time in Scripture was someone came up to Jesus they threw themselves at her feet they said Jesus I'm blind will you heal me and he said no it's not my timeing you're right in the middle of an important lesson because it's not in the Bible that's not a story in there but so many people think that these these stories where Jesus is sending them away I know there was an episode of The Chosen where Jesus sent somebody away not healed that wasn't in the Bible he healed every person who came to him without exception and every person the father led him to and he only did what he saw the father doing what was he doing he was perfectly revealing God's will that it's always God's will to heal every single time you're never going to be able to believe for any kind of healing if you don't even know if God agrees with you so we've got to lay that right at the beginning here so let's do this um I like to start off with this question if you've heard me Teach before you probably heard me do this one and um but just at your table just take uh just take a minute here and just answer this question what do you feel is your biggest hindrance to see more people healed okay so just take a minute or two just uh just it's your table what do you feel is your uh your biggest hindrance to seeing more people healed I'll see you guys in 60 Seconds [Applause] Fe on there we go quick answers I know you got extroverts at the table you got 30 seconds keep going quick answer like one or two words fear all right we'll just shout him out I like that all right we got fear we got myself what else we got doubt doubt what else we got patience did somebody say the Democrats that's not even a real reason oh my word patience all right so let me uh you just never know what you're G to get here so so um so uh let me just tell you what I think the answer is I think your biggest hindrance to Healing is that you believe there's a hindrance to Healing come on see whatever answer you gave that can become a doubt a doubt means to disqualify oneself for the promise in other words yeah that's true but I don't have enough faith I don't have enough anointing I don't have a Healing Ministry I don't have the gift of healing I don't have the dot dot dot so that becomes a doubt and all those are just lies there's no nowhere in scripture that says hey it works you know healing is for uh for you unless see that's religion you'll get healed when you get rid of all your sin you do this you break generational curses you do all this stuff so we're going to we're going to pull some weeds today all right so let's start with a confession say this after me healing is not my idea healing is not my idea healing is God's idea healing is God's idea I'm not trying to convince him I'm not trying to convince him he's trying to convince me he's trying to convince me all right let's close in prayer prayer guys that's all we need to get let's say it again healing is not my idea healing is not my idea healing is God's idea god idea I'm not trying to convince him I'm not trying to convince he's trying to convince me he's trying to convince our mindsets are the biggest hindrances to people getting healed not demons yes if you were to take my healing training we look at how uh demons are Christian Recreation it's how we get to have fun casting out demons demons are a lot like velcro they're easily removed and they leave no residue they're nothing to be afraid of but we're not here to do a deliver help me I'll give you a Deliverance training guys ready for deliverance training shut up and get out there you go there's your uh there's your deliverance training as we're uh in worship I just heard this phrase desperation is not needed a lot of people think that there's this desperate faith that Jesus responds to he responds to childlike must Mustard Seed Faith that's what moves mountains desperation is not needed anyone who's trying to convince the father doesn't understand healing it was his idea he already made a payment he bore your sickness carried your pain by your stripes you've been healed God is no longer on a CA God is Not on a case-by casee basis judging whether or not you're worthy to be healed he already said yes 2,000 years ago I'm not sure if you guys have ever seen one of those movies where they're getting ready to launch a nuclear bomb have you seen I've never personally been there but this is kind of what it looks like in movies I don't know why but there's two keys right you got like like this you know the Secretary of State or whatever and you got the president of United States and for some reason they have to put him in at the exact same time I'm not sure what would happen if they don't go in at the exact same time I don't know if it's like phine and Ferb but doof and Schurz like the uh the self-destruct button if anyone watched that cartoon but I don't like they have to be at the exact one two three insert one two three turn and it's like if they're not at the exact same time something horrible is going to happen a lot of people think that's how healing is it's like you know God's you know oh oh we don't knowbody he wants to do he's so mysterious you we just don't have any idea all of a sudden there's a word of knowledge he wants to heal shoulders and so if I not God has inserted his key he wants to heal a shoulder and if I can get my faith up to a level 10 I feel like it's only at about an eight now if I can get it out of a 10 and if I can time it with what God wants guys that is not how Healing Ministry works there are two keys but it's a lot like like a safety deposit box if you're going to a bank there's a safety deposit box the bank manager sticks in his key guess what you still don't have access to your what's inside the contents of your box there's a second key that you have he already put his in he's completely waiting on you for you to insert your key and when you insert it you get what there everything you receive in the Christian Life Is by grace through faith Grace is God's part independent of your performance you didn't have to become good enough you didn't have to become holy enough you didn't have to memorize enough scriptures you didn't have to fast you have to get rid of all your sin 2,000 years ago he inserted the first key his part is done people are like Faith moves God no faith doesn't move God God already moved 2,000 years ago Faith responds to what God has already done and says thank you Jesus so OB Beed unto me all of God's promises are yes and amen they're yes from the god side he inserted the key he's waiting for us to say Amen so be it unto me that's the second key by grace through faith faith is our response to what God has already done Faith looks a lot like this thank you Jesus this belongs to me because of what Jesus is done that's it that's Mustard Seed Faith 18 times in the New Testament Jesus said your faith is made well Jesus didn't say my faith made you well he said your faith has made you well what was Faith all 18 times they came to Jesus expecting him to help that's it that sometimes they had to overcome the discouragement of the crowds are tearing through roofs blind B saying son of David have mercy on me the crowd's like shut up he's like son of David have mercy me get me sometime they had overcome some obstacles but they came to Jesus expecting him to help and he never turned him away bunch of funny stories I'm going to keep going so my wife and I um we grew up in a denomination I am I am skipping some stories my wife and I grew up in denomination they had healing in their Doctrine but we didn't really see it in our practice right so we like believed it doctrinally and so we were on staff at a large church and the scene typically looked like this two fast songs three slow songs right so you got two fast songs and then uh they would call for the uh the pastors of the church the Elders of the church and at that time it was all men in dark suits and so I I I don't know that was just what we weree back then in the '90s right and so we'd come down there we would anoint people with oil and we do this every week and uh nobody ever got healed and nobody seemed concerned about it and so my wife uh kind of has a crisis of Faith one time she's like listen what is going on here she's like we're praying every week this is just kind of like some religious thing nothing's happening and she's like look at us she's like you know um what makes us any different than our neighbor our neighbor wasn't saved she's like our neighbor gives to the poor we give to the poor like they're good people we're good people the only difference is we're saying we're go to heaven because we don't have any power difference and I'm on staff at a big church I'm like sh like could you keep it to yourself like this probably get us fired you know but on the other hand I was like she's totally right so it set us on this journey to really uh just really figured out healing like like this if it's in the word it has to be in our life listen guys we can't lower the standard of God's promises to the level of our experience okay if it's in the word it has to be in our life so we went on this journey and we were on an allout ballistic assault going after healing so we are praying for everyone who Mo our you know family reun iions family gatherings they were uncomfortable anyone who had a cough or a limp or like in attack mode everyone's like uncomfortable by it and here's kind of what it look like like we're praying for them they're getting sicker like we're catching their illnesses like it was terribly discouraging like you've ever been through that season like you're going for it and it's like that's that messy middle right and so um so we're going through this you know like we're praying and like four days later the headache got better we're like it probably would have happened naturally but we're going to we're going to praise God for it right you know and so I remember I was um I I live in Chesterville Township here in Michigan and 23 Mile in grassed there's a bus stop and so I'm I'm going into Panero I was going to use their internet and there's this guy and he's he's yelling for me and I'm like what's going on and uh sir what's happening and so he's crippled over on a cane and he saids can you tell me where 24 Mile Road is I'm like well yeah you just got off at 23 and grass you got a one mile walk that way he said thank you inch inch inch inch and I thought oh man that guy's got a long day and so I said hey why don't you let me drive you up there so he's going up to the bank so I drive him up there I remember not seeing much happen at this point so he goes into the bank I call him Mar I'm like wake up the intercessors in China like I think we got a we got a hot one here like this this is this is this is a God thing right and so he gets back in the car and um I'm like okay I'll just drive you home so I'm driving him home and uh so I'm trying to think how do I he starts telling me about this a fairies heaven with these 25y old girl on the bus he's like 65 I'm thinking I got to change the subject so I just blur this out my wife and I pray for people and they get healed which was a lie or a declaration of Faith depending on your theology and so I said uh and I I said is there anything I can pray for you for and he says well how about the obvious I'm an alcoholic and I didn't notice it but the next breath I took I was like man it is lit in here and so um this I believe this was a gift of faith because I don't normally talk like this I said here's what's going to happen I'm going to pray for your legs and they're going to get healed and that's going to give you the faith to overcome the alcohol he holds up his Cane says as long as I've got this cane I'll be okay I thought that's not the mighty Faith declaration I'm looking for there so driveing to his house and so we're sitting there in front of his house and I said well let's pray and so he holds out his hand and I'm like all right I guess we're holding hands so it kind of like did the handle thing and I pray to PR something like legs be healed in the name of Jesus if I want you to notice Jesus uh there's not one example of anyone praying for the sick in the in the scriptures they healed the sick so uh Jesus took his authority and said things like this stretch out your hand little girl wake up eyes be opened what are they doing he's using his authority he didn't say oh father if it be that will that prayer won't be answered if you don't know what God's will is is you don't have faith okay but people are saying well hold on don't aren we told to pray God if it be thaty will no that's in James chapter 4 if you don't know what God's will is concerning your future don't say hey we're going to move to this city and do this or that say Lord if it be thy will that's that's not presuming on God's will it's not presuming about your future making decisions without God it's not talking about his clearly revealed will saying if it be that will you got to have faith how we doing what am I talking about here Lon oh oh yeah yeah Lonnie so he um to get him into his house um be healed in the name of Jesus he says as long as I've got this cane I said get out of the car and walk so he gets out of the car and he goes inch inch and all of a sudden his spine straightens up he kind of like he almost shook it off and he starts walking and he comes back to the car and he's got tears running on his cheeks he says I don't think I'm going to need this anymore I said I said I don't think you are either now I'm crying then listen he starts sprinting up and down the sidewalk he's waving the cane above his head yelling I can walk I can walk and I said Lord whatever we got to do to see more of that and so that kind of started us on on a journey and uh we started leading the church in 2008 and we are going on an allout ballistic assault I'm not saying we had wisdom but we had Zeal we're waiting in handicapped spots at Walmart knowing whoever pulled in would need prayer no we did that regularly we uh we would go down to the emergency room Uninvited and uh I remember two of our youth maybe three of our youth went down there and there's a lady sitting there she's crying you know they're nervous they're scared and uh you know I'm nervous just about every time I step out and pray for someone outside the walls of the church I don't know about you it's almost like there's this chicken line and it's like am I going to step across it do I love this person more than I love my comfort level right and so just just just you know I prayed for hundreds and hundreds of people outside the walls of the church I'm still a little nervous every time and so uh anyway so they go down to the emergency room there's a lady sitting there she's crying they say hey what's going on she says my baby's died in my womb I'm here to have a DNC dilation and curiti you're going to remove the baby they say can we pray for you they pray for her the baby resurrects and begins sleeping in her womb so she's screaming yeah so she's happy and so there's a lady over here here's this screaming and she's like what is all this noise what is all she's holding a baby so they tell her the testimony and they say can we pray for you and she says I don't believe in God our students say that's okay God believes in you like I said we didn't say we had wisdom but we had Zeal so they impose their will on this lady and she's holding about a three-month old baby the baby's arm is paralyzed that's why she was at the hospital and uh they pray baby starts moving its arm right there in the right there in the hospital so um so since then our uh our church has seen over a dozen people raised from the dead uh none of them have died on a Sunday morning we don't have an anany and safy Ministry so I'm thankful about that but yeah we've had car accident scenes babies drowned at um at hotels drug overdoses uh we had a man uh he died at 7 in the morning uh woke up at 11:00 p.m. and the morg had to unzip himself from the body bag went to work two days later no brain damage we've had blind eyes from birth opened up this is all in Ohio and so we love Africa Miracles I'm jealous for it to work at our in our house we've had deaf ears open up tumors dissolve I don't even know how many dozens and dozens of stage four cancers lots of metal dissolve out of bodies we've had bones grow back we've had an eyeball pop out during a debate on whether The Supernaturals for today at a at a college um uh I guess it kind of answered that one but a girl's glass eye popped out a brand new eyeball popped in we've had uh brain cancers healed just looking at prophetic art during worship um you just Lots I mean I I can literally spend the last of our time just telling testimonies it maybe be worth it to do that sometime but I just want you guys to know God's still doing stuff we're actually in the midst of the greatest Revival in human history it's just not going to see it on CNN chicken noodle news the the the uh the 10 spies Network you're not going to see it on that God's up to awesome stuff schizo effective disorder all sorts of awesome stuff so um so here's what I see I see it like a team of horses you got a team of horses and they're pulling they're hooked to each other but they're pulling opposite each other and it's like one team of horses is pulling you towards Faith the other team of horses is pulling you towards unbelief what I found is you don't need more faith a lot of people are trying to get more faith you only need a mustard seed size Faith right and so you don't need more faith you just need less doubt Jesus said if you believe and not doubt you can move mountains so here's what I want to do today I want to spend some time pulling up those doubts so if you turn with me to Genesis chapter 2 Genesis chapter 2 I'm going to begin in verse 15 and I want to see that there's two places you can get your healing theology I know this is super profound you can either from the devil or from Jesus I know this is like real profound but I want you to see the same tactics that the devil used in the garden with Eve are the same things that gets purported for healing theology today that destroys faith and we're going to see the Simplicity of Christ let me give you a scripture here this real quick while you're there 2 Corinthians 11:3 this is one of the scariest verses in the Bible Paul says am I talking too fast are we okay I fear that Lord help them to hear faster okay 2 Corinthians 11:3 I fear that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent I mean think of how big that is I mean that was that is all the mess because of that I fear that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent you two have been deceived from the Simplicity of Christ a lot of people are looking for something for answers for healing in in places other than Christ they're looking to find root causes they're we're going to go through all those things guys it all the good stuff's found in Jesus it's really simple and uh we're going to get back back to that so uh Genesis chapter 2 the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and keep it and the Lord God commanded the man saying you may surely eat of every tree of the garden but of the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil you shall not eat for in that day you eat of it you shall surely die how many you guys know that's pretty clear instructions eat of any tree except one pretty clear right Genesis 3:1 now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made he said to the woman did God actually say you shall not eat of any tree in the garden and the woman said to the serpent we may eat of the of the fruit of the trees in the garden but God said You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that's in the midst of the garden neither shall you touch it now she's making stuff up there lest you die um but the serpent said to the woman you will not surely die for God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be open and you will be like God knowing good and evil so I want to look at uh kind of how the enemy does here one of the first things he does he tries to get tries to get Eve to doubt what God Said the serpent said to the woman of Genesis 3:4 did God actually say you shall not eat of any tree in the garden guys God could not be any more clear you can eat of any tree except one all right so what the enemy does uh like it's so simple that the that you have to have someone help you misunderstand it the Bible makes some statements about healing that are so clear you have to have somebody help you misund understanding and the devil tries to get us to do that let me give you some examples of some simple statements Mark 16 lay hands on the sick and they will recover father unveil these deep Mysteries to me no no no hand sick faith sickness go um uh the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well father I need a three-day Retreat just to meditate on the depths of this truth no you don't the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well you see what I'm saying these are simple statements but then the enemy comes and try to gives you these statements to help you misunderstand I'm same thing he'll say things like this what about Job how many you guys have ever heard that as a as a as a you know something to combat God wanting to heal well first of all um I'm not a disciple of job I'm a disciple of Jesus Amen the Old Testament was filled with questions that the cross answered so if your qu if your questions from the Old Testament don't lead you to Jesus because Jesus said all the Old Testament scriptures they're talking about me so if your uh Old Testament questions aren't leading into Jesus you need to ask some better questions it's illegal to take a a a a type and Shadow picture of God in the Old Testament and let that supersede the clear picture of God in the in the New Testament Jesus said me and God are the exact representation of of Jesus exact representation of God's being Jesus is the perfect picture so don't let an incomplete picture supersede it but let's just uh let's just break down Jo here's the Theology of job Satan made him sick God made him well if you're not healed you're not having a job experience some people are like well what about job job got healed how about we bring that part up the Bible says that God restored job's losses and gave him double you guys remember that part okay so I remember reading that and reading that word restored and thinking boy restored seems to imply that he got back everything he was lost remember um so let's look at this and so um cuz job lost 10 of his kids I'm going to show you from scripture I believe God resurrected all 10 of job's kids from the dead you guys ready for this what if job's actually one of the most encouraging books of the Bible so I'm reading Job chapter 1 and I see that there's 7,000 sheep 3,000 camels 500 Yol of oxen 500 female donkeys seven sons and three daughters and I thought boy it's kind of odd that God's giving exact numbers so you read in um you know chapter one about the loss chapter 42 God restores everything and gives him double and I notice he went from 7,000 sheep to anyone want to guess how many thousand sheep 14,000 sheep in in chapter 42 why because God restored what was lost and gave him double 3,000 camels to 6,000 camels 500 yok of oxin to a th000 yok of oxin 500 female donkeys restored and made everything double th female donkeys seven sons and three daughters it says in um in job 42 that God gave him seven more sons and three more daughters how many of you guys know 0 + 10 is not double the only way that it could be double is if God restored everything that he lost gave him seven more Sons three more daughters the thought hit me one day and I was looking at Hebrews 11:17 was when Abraham was tested by God to offer up Isaac he said I Abraham considered that God was able to even raise Isaac from the dead I don't know if you guys know this the story of Job takes place before the story of Abraham so where do you think Abraham got that idea could have been from The Book of Job how we doing no stones are coming my way so that's good I'm not beating my fist and saying this is absolute truth I'm just saying boy there's some strong evidence for this and it sounds a lot like God uh another thing that the enemy tries to get us to do to doubt what God say is what about Paul's Thorn In the Flesh how many you guys heard about this what about Paul's Thorn In the Flesh boy um can you guys put up I don't let me just tell you the Bible tells us what Paul's Thor in the flesh is it's demonic persec ution from the hands of men okay listen to it 2 Corinthians 12:7 uh so to keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations a thorn was given me in the flesh all these people speculate what was this Thorn In the Flesh what it be uh keep reading a messenger of Satan sent to harass me then he's going to describe what the harassment looked like uh three times I plead with the Lord about this that it should leave me but he said to me my grace is sufficient for you my power is made perfect in weakness okay so he calls this Thorn uh weakness therefore I'll boast all GL more gladly of my weaknesses so that the power of Christ May rest upon me for the sake of Christ I'm content with weaknesses insults hardships persecutions and calamities for when I'm weak then I am strong it's a messenger of Satan that makes him feel weak that shows up in insults hardships persecutions and calamities if you to read the chapter right before this he lists all of these things and calls them the things that show his weaknesses once I was stoned three times I was Shipwrecked the night in the day I drifted sea frequent Journeys in danger from Rivers Danger from robbers danger for my own people danger Ro Robinson Danger from Rivers Danger from the Gentiles danger in the city toil hardship exposure who is weak that I'm not weak who is not made to fail fall that I not indignant I'm if I must boast I must boast of the things that show my weaknesses guys when you look at 2 Corinthians 11 the list of insults hardships persecutions he calls him a weakness then you get to his Thorn In the Flesh which he said is is his weakness insults hardships persecutions and he says it was a messenger of Satan guys it's super clear Paul's Sor of Flesh was demonic persecution at the hands of men yeah Jim but didn't Paul have bad iate how many you guys have heard this well first of all Paul's not my standard Jesus is my standard okay can we just start there um uh secondly people say that Paul had bad eyesight because of Galatians 6 Paul wrote see what large letters I use to write you with my own hand here's the thing archaeology has uh dug up a whole bunch of letters from that time and lots of them were signed the same way it's like Paul's emphasizing the personal nature of this letter look at I'm writing this letter to you okay I'm about to prove to you that Paul did not have bad eyesight are you guys ready for this Timothy let Paul circumcise [Laughter] him that thing Paul did not have bad eyesight well what about Aunt Mard she was the godliest person I know we had her on a prayer chain and uh and she died listen guys it would be tragic for us to use an example for which we have no explanation to cancel the clear mandate given in model To Us by Jesus I don't know what happened to Aunt Mildred I don't know we have to put that in a category called mystery but I'll guarantee you this if we were to see it from Heaven's perspective it's not God's fault steal kill and destroy is someone else's job description right well what about Joanie Ericson Tata many you guys have heard of the famous uh author she's a quadriplegic who writes about how sickness and disease is God's will for you to make you close um so what about that a lot of people use that as an example because let me just I'm going to read this so it doesn't come across as me she's a lovely woman with a very bad theology that kills Faith with Christ as healer the Jesus she presents is a different Jesus than the Jesus of the gospels the Jesus of the gospels did not hesitate to heal but she says that um you know the Jesus she presents might want you to suffer from a sickness and the disability to do you some good listen Paul warned us about people who'd come and preach to you a different gospel I don't care how sweet the package a little bit of Honey makes the poison go down quicker when it comes from a sweet package it's a doctrine of demons we okay all right it's okay to have questions just don't build your theology out of your questions that's build your theology from the person of Jesus all right so the enemy tries to get us to doubt what God Said next thing he tries to do is to get us to doubt who God is let's look at uh Genesis 3:4 but the serpent said to the woman you're not going to die for God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened and you'll be like God knowing good good and evil okay and so the enemy tries to get you to doubt the goodness of God so he says things like this God puts sickness on you to teach you a lesson right or God God put sickness on you to make you more like Jesus well Jesus isn't sick so I'm not sure how sickness is going to make you more like Jesus God disciplines his kids with sickness listen I'd be arrested for child abuse if I did that to my kids and to think that God the Father who has only good gifts for his children does that is extremely disturbing that's right Jesus never modeled this some how Satan and uh Jesus have switched job descriptions in many churches it's Satan who's making them well through lying signs and wonders and Jesus who's making them sick to make them a better Christian guys this is absurd let me tell you how we taught it to our kids uh to make it real simple you guys ready for this God Good Devil bad cancer bad where does it come from the devil which means we can fight it listen if you really think that sickness is from God ask for how dare you go to the doctor and fight God's will just ask for a double portion learn your lesson quicker nobody's doing this because nobody's that stupid except for religion who tries to tell you that God wants you sick and and it be it's okay to go to the doctor to fight like guys come on here this is just foolishness John 10:10 the thief comes only to steal kill and destroy Jesus says I've come that you may have life and have it to the full let's not let's not change job descriptions there okay yeah yes Jim God may not cause sickness but he allows it you guys okay can you turn your fence meters on low for a second hopefully they were already on low turn it down a God does not allow sickness the church allows sickness he put a gun in your hand and told you to shoot it he said I give you authority over every sickness every evil disease and every evil spirit remember we're not waiting on God God's waiting on us no one needs to feel bad about anything okay about our current situation but we need to recognize it's not God's fault amen okay we we he's given us the authority over these things he put a gun in your hand told you to heal the sick raise the dead cleanse the leper cast out demons some people are like well yes Jim but sometimes God chooses not to heal where's where's that in scripture right he made a decision to healed 2,000 years ago like like I paid for these shoes okay I can't take them back to the store and say to the owner you know what I've decided to not buy these shoes he'd be like you can throw them out you can burn them you can give them away but you can't decide to not pay for them they've already been paid for that part's already been taken care of God has already made a payment for your healing 2,000 years ago he doesn't go oh well let's just see if this person's worthy let's see if they uh fast a little bit longer maybe when the blood moon and the shmita line up for some special Jewish holiday yes Jim but God is mysterious yeah he's mysteriously good yes jimy God is Sovereign I hit this a little bit last night if by Sovereign you mean the biblical idea of sovereignty where God hello we're getting some amens there or some Deliverance either way yay God I believe the sovereignty of God as is taught in most churches is one of the most dangerous doctrines in the body of Christ because it makes God responsible for everything which would make him basically a sociopathic murderer like like oh Hitler was God's will like like guys not everything that happens is God's will okay God's in charge but he's not in control on okay if he was in control of everything then it would be heaven on Earth there would be no devil there would right like like that's what heaven's going to be like when we get up there his will will be done perfectly okay but God is is not in he's in charge he's not in control uh second Peter 3:9 God is not willing that any should perish but all should come to repentance right are people perishing yeah every single day and so but it's not his will so what I want you to see is if someone has a sickness you don't go oh must be God's will no we know it's not God's will it wasn't part of the original creation he didn't create us with sickness there was no hospitals in the G of Eden okay by the way God's not against medicine he's against being number two all right so if you want to practice your faith in your kids great but don't test your faith in your kids if you're praying for them and they're not getting healed get them the best medical care that you know how to uh we're not some crazy cult where we deprive our kids of medical attention and call that Faith all right so God sovereignly chose to give say whatever you bind on Earth will be bound in heaven God sovereignly said behold I give you the Keys of the Kingdom God Sly says I give you authority over every sickness every evil disease he told us to pray your kingdom come your will be done on Earth as it is in heaven okay so um I got to keep moving here so uh I want you to get this phrase and we're uh we're we're going to be wrapping up here in just a second Jesus is perfect theology I got that phrase from Bill Johnson Jesus is perfect theology I want you to get that statement in your heart if you if you want to know what God is like if you want to know what God's will is look at the person of Jesus he perfectly modeled the will of God in every situation this is a game Cher for me CU When I used to pray and nothing happened I'd say oh must that have been God's will well now I know God's Will and when I pray and if nothing happens I know that God's will hasn't changed something on this side of the equation needs to change right so what do we see Jesus who perfectly modeled God's will what do we see him doing he healed every person who came to him without exception like well what about that so remember faith I think I I told you guys this 18 times in the New Testament Faith was them coming to Jesus expecting him to help so there was a time in Mark chapter 6 where um uh people Jesus is doing Miracles and someone says hey isn't this the carpenter son didn't we see this little brat grow up over there in Nazareth that wasn't quite the text but like uh isn't this the carpenter son it says they were offended at him remember they took intellectual offense at him because you know they're expecting the Son of God to be floating and so uh isn't this a carpenter son and it says that he they left and Jesus could not do many mighty miracles in his hometown except lay his hands on a few sick people so what happened faith is them coming to Jesus expecting him to to help unbelief is not coming to Jesus not expecting him to help okay but there was a few who came and he laid his hands in them I just want you guys to be clear Jesus never laid his hands on somebody and it didn't work soone no there's no one who ever came to Jesus and he said nah come back in a little bit okay it's what was he doing he was showing us what God's will was let me read you John 1:18 and Amplified but I'm going to replace the pronouns so listen to this Jesus Christ has declared the father Jesus Christ has revealed the father brought the father out where the father can be seen Jesus Christ has interpreted the Father and Jesus Christ has made the father known I want to say this Jesus Christ is the best kept secret in the American Church many people are searching for what they already have in Christ triple portion anointings healing mantel falling from past healing revivals great like anointing is great if it leads you back to the anointed one stop waiting for your hands to feel hot you're going to be waiting a long time where did Jesus be like hey if anyone has Hot Hands then God wants to heal you he wants to heal you because of what Jesus did 2,000 years now on the cross stop waiting for a feeling or an increase in blood flow it's St waiting for an angel to come change your name your name will no longer be Jim from now on you'll be called Warrior yes Father I've been waiting for this moment people are looking for something else another Revelation because they have yet to discover that Christ is the perfect revelation of the father he's the wisdom of God he's the way the truth the life the resurrection he is your healer Christ will always be God's answer to every important question we will ever ask third thing the enemy tries to get us to do is to get religious tries to get us to doubt what God Said doubt who God is tries to get us to get religious you see Eve and um you know what let's just do this let's just take 60 seconds here and I know I've been pulling a lot of weeds and and hopefully you guys seem like you're doing good I just want to take a moment I want to break off disappointment I see disappointment is one of the things that just makes it really difficult to come to Jesus with that fresh yes of faith and so I would imagine if any of you have been in Christianity for any length of time that you probably prayed for somebody and it didn't go the way you wanted it to go or as quickly as you wanted it to go I have these stories in my life as well and so I want you to do this let's just take 30 seconds and say holy spirit is there any area where I'm disappointed in you like you're like because you're believing a lie about God because remember the problem is on The Human Side what I want us to do is I want to break the disappointment off that we have over God that's is going to be like a veil that's going to block us from what he has for us so just 30 seconds and just say holy spirit is there any area that I'm believing a lie about you or I've been disappointed in you or I blamed you and so just take 30 seconds we're going to break that off so I'll see you in 30 seconds all right let's pray a prayer like this I'm just going to kind of lead you in it I'm going to pause so you can kind of make it your own father I've been believing lies about you I was disappointed about you when and it just fill in the blank I see that I was wrong you're a good God and you've got nothing but good things for me help me to see clearly the person of Jesus Jesus in your perfect will and healing amen amen it's good to just break those things off so the enemy so uh so the last thing the enemy tries to get us to do is to get religious and so in Genesis 3:3 Eve said but God said You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that's in the midst of the garden neither shall you touch it lest you die remember the enemy was telling her too that um you're going to be like God so religion tries to get you through human effort what you already have through Divine gift so she's adding this thing don't touch it she's adding rules to this thing and uh and the fear was that oh if we do this we're going to be like God they were already like God they created in His image and his likeness so religion tries to get you on this little treadmill that you have to do something so listen to the statement from Mark chapter uh 7:3 this is Jesus speaking to the phes this is shocking he said that you have you are making the word of God of no effect through your tradition this is a startling statement the word of God the seed from another world that will not return void if it's not mixed with faith it nullifies the power of the word of God wrong teaching specific religious teaching if you believe it over the word of God you will not see the power of the word of God this is It's incredible Jesus is saying that we can neutralize the positive power of God's word towards us by elevating man's Traditions over God's word you're like Jim I would never Elevate man's Traditions over God's word well let's just look at a couple okay and so again we're going to be pulling some seeds the fence meters on low you guys good so here's the here's the first thing is um uh Elias it's not God's timing how many you guys have heard that well maybe it's just not God's timing for this and so what people do is they put off uh healing to this future time well maybe later in the year well maybe this summer maybe and they put it down the road there's nowhere how do how do we evaluate the uh the statement well when did Jesus ever lay his hands on someone and say you know what you're right in the middle of an important lesson when did he ever say you know you know in the seventh Sabbath in the seventh year you know there's none of this stuff here and so um he said today is the day of salvation the word salvation gets translated as saved healed and delivered when is it God's will for you to be healed um 2,000 years ago on the cross when can you receive it the moment Faith touches the Son of God I love the story of the woman uh who's been bleeding you know for 12 years and she comes up fights her way through the crowd touches Jesus's garment and Jesus says there's been a disturbance in the force remember this he says it was a joke he says uh you know virtues left me right what happened Jesus didn't have time to say okay father is this woman worthy has she gotten rid of all her sin has she made all the correct offerings is she only tithing 9% or is she up to the full 10% and no no is is she you they didn't go over all this stuff when Faith touched the Son of God it was like a reflex of action it was like a pickpocket okay guys When Faith touches uh the Son of God healing flows that's all that's necessary another thing the enemy tries to tell you to do is you need to throw out your meds to prove you had Faith I've heard people God doesn't call you to do something radical and dangerous to show that you have faith listen you can throw out your medication uh when you're healed you don't have to throw out your medication to prove you have faith to be healed okay like I said God's not against medicine he's against being number two I'm so thankful for the medical professionals and that are spirit filled and going in there with Supernatural and natural means we're so thankful for you we need you in those places so thank you for your um another thing Jesus never did was break generational curses in a hush went through the crowd so a part of the thing with generational curses is how they get defined so different people kind of use them in different ways and so um so I think we we need to look at that and so some people that the way they use generational curse what they're really probably talking about is more of a generational influence it's like you know there's three generations of alcoholism that's not a generational curse that's learn Behavior and the answer to that is is uh Romans chapter 6 say learning how to live out of your new identity in Christ there's three verbs in Romans 6 I don't want to teach on this know consider and present don't you know that you died to sin consider yourself dead to sin present your body as a Living Sacrifice those are three ways to step into the power of the New Covenant I have a whole series on this uh the reborn identity go get it for free on our website and so um but guys that's not a generational curse okay so at least the way I would Define it if someone's defining it like that the answer of that is gener is Romans 6 let me just make some statements there's not a single example anywhere in the Bible of someone breaking a curse or doing anything about curses can we just start there uh the Bible does not even hint at the need for breaking curses Jesus does not teach his disciples to break curses he does not command them to do this from Genesis to Revel there's not a single example of anyone breaking a curse do you think that should maybe just have us pause a little bit before we go back to the third and fourth generation and the enemy is going to go what about the fifth and sixth generation okay um listen guys if God's not punishing you for your what's the final Clause of the New Covenant I will remember your sins and Lawless Deeds no more if God's not punishing you for your sins he's not going to punish you for your grandfather sin because he was a ma a Mason hash duh now before you were saved was there generational curses probably a whole hot mess of them but when you died you were buried with Christ your baptism you were raised to a newness of life you were put into Christ and there ain't no curses in his gen in his generation some of you aren't impressed everywhere every time I teach this people fight for the right to be cursed it's just absolutely amazing to me no they do they like like they want to hold on to it so much even though it's nowhere in the Bible there wasn't even generational curses in the Old Testament so people go hold on doesn't they say it'll punish to the third and fourth generation that's not what it says it says he'll punish to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me if they partook of the sin and they partook of the punishment he never punished the innocent let's all Quote Ezekiel 181 18-20 together just kidding Ezekiel 18 He says Uh there's a proverb being said in Israel and it will be said no more the fathers eat sour grapes the son's teeth are set on edge in other words dad does something kid gets punished he says the soul who sins will die I will will not punish the son for the sin of the father and I will not punish the father for the sin of the son the soul who sins will die apparently in Israel there was some bad teaching that there was generational curses that God was punishing someone for the punishing the innocent and God corrected it in the Old Testament there wasn't even generational curses in the Old Testament there ain't in the new are we okay uh another religious thing um the enemy tries to get you is you need to find the root cause of your sickness Jesus never looked at a person's past to pray for healing he never said where did you open the door for the devil to get in I need to know so I can know how to pray some people teach you need to look inside to find the root to deal with the problems Jesus did not teach that you should look at yourself to find the problem he taught the way she' look at him to find the solution guys if we have to find the the problem it puts all the works on us healing is up to us and our ability to diagnose this stuff no no no we look at Jesus that's the solution the hot mess does doesn't matter amen are we seeing the Simplicity of Christ he never made them jump through hoops he never said you got to do this this and this they just came in all their hot mess and said uh I need healing and he said so be it daughter be healed another religious thing is people think they need a noble cause for their healing if I'm Healed then God will be glorified if I'm Healed then my children will believe listen guys I'm sure it'll be an awesome some testimony I need to be honest with you I prayed for thousands and thousands of people I've never seen anybody healed who thought they needed a noble cause God will he you need to receive it like this God wants to heal me because he loves me that's right he's actually healing people in the Old Testament and saying sh I'm sorry in the New Testament he's healing people in the New Testament saying shh don't tell anybody like he's not looking to use you on his Heavenly newsletter as the feature story he's healing you because he loves you again it it could be a great testimony I I love all that but you need to if you think you need to give God a noble cause my kids will be healed you don't understand healing you don't understand the father wants you well right he does have a noble reason to heal you he loves you you don't need to give him any other reason um you don't need to renounce the occult to get healed you don't need to forgive somebody first to be healed you don't need to confess your sins to be healed you don't need to tithe to be healed you don't need to attend church Faithfully to be healed you don't need to make sure you're submitted Authority who's your covering to be healed he doesn't uh you don't have to fast to be healed I'm not saying some of these aren't good ideas okay fasting can help narrow your focus confessing sin sometimes if there's that shame it says if you can confess your false SW to another you can be healed if there's that shame it can be broken I'm just saying none of these things were Hoops that people made people jump that Jesus made people jump through in order to get healed again I'm not saying some of these aren't good ideas forgiveness is a great idea Jesus just never said do you have any unforgiveness because I can't heal you until you get rid of all of it guys when he's healing those thousands in the multitudes there's people with a hot mess of everything going on and he healed them all amen how many don't answer don't raise your hand on this one but if you were honest answer this one how many of you feel you're the special exception right like everybody can get healed but you can't okay how many of you feel like you're special exception I got a word from Lord for you guys ready you're not that special the blood of Jesus works for you too there are no special exceptions you qualify because of what Jesus has done Jesus I'm this is my conclusion I know preachers usually have about three or four conclusions I think this is like the real conclusion all right Jesus healed every person who came to him without exception and he perfectly revealed to us the will of God on the cross when Jesus uh is about to give up his Spirit he said this in John 19:30 it is finished now the New Testament was written in Greek and so the tense of the verb could be translated like this the word finished could be easily translated as perfect okay this phrase could be translated it is perfectly perfect it is completely complete it is completely perfect it is perfectly complete father is completely satisfied with what Jesus has done on your behalf let me ask you this question it's enough for the father is it enough for you anytime you think that you have to do something to pry God's hand open do do something to get his attention do do do it's a bunch of do do it's religion what we need to do is rest in the fact that is already done Jesus said it's finished everything that needs to happen to restore God to man to break off every effect of sin has been done on the cross I'm going to close with this story and then we're going to go after some healing and we're going to and it's going to be easy all right I got two amens that's all I needed so all right we're good to go so um I went to the University of Michigan I don't know if that's good or bad around here I don't know if that's good I also went to Michigan state for a year so I got my basis covered there all right there we go there we go so I was Premed in college and in order to get into med school we had to have a recommendation letter from a doctor and so my lab partner in um in uh College he was a character and a half and so his dad was a doctor he was super wealthy and he paid a guy who kind of looked like him to come to the lab so he could go on vacation and go skiing he's like that guy and so just a character and so his dad was a doctor he was like a doctor for Croc gym and all these famous people and so I'm like hey Will your dad write me a recommendation letter and he's like well um let me ask him so he asked him and he said he wants to go golfing with you I'm like oh boy and so uh anyone who's ever seen me golf has never accused me of being a golfer okay so we go down to the Beverly Hills Country Club in Detroit so very nice people eating with their pinkies out and so we go there and so I'd probably been golfing maybe like three or four times and always did it about as cheap as possible with my friends and so um I go I get there and I'll just call him Dr Smith Dr Smith's like where's your golf shoes I'm like well I don't have any he's like go in the locker room and take someone else's shoes and get out here I'm like are you allowed to do that are you allowed to like go steal someone else's shoes and so I go there and I'll get someone's shoes and so I go there and i' never read in a golf cart before because we always carried our own clubs to do it as cheap as possible and so I put the golf clubs in the cart and I'm with my lab partner and as we take off my clubs weren't strapped in right and they go flying out the back of the golf cart Dr Smith's looking at his son like like are you serious so we go to the first hole and so picture like a half moon of people like a half circle of people around the teas and you know all they're eating their tea and crumpets and and watching us eat and so they had three levels of teas you got the proas which is the farthest from the hole the intermediate and then you got like the ladies teas and so we're teeing off from the protees and so um there's a forsome so Dr Smith straight down the Fairway my lab partner straight down the Fairway there's another guy who's um legally blind he can only see to his toes more to come about him and uh so they're like literally turning him straight down the Fairway so I'm the last to go I'm feeling a little bit nervous you know you know no worm UPS nothing so first one swinging a Miss I was like are you kidding me like like Lord receive my spirit like like like Let The Rapture happen right now you know and so I'm like trying to give him a little help on the Rapture and so and so um he says uh take a mulligan I'm like Mulligan wasn't that that the guy who got stuck on the island with the skipper like what is that no it's a do over oh okay so and so uh so the next one I do I swing and it does 18 ° slice it goes the direction my toes are pointing and misses a lady by about 2 feet and there screams as it goes out there he says uh he says Mulligan you know I'm like oh Lord so I do another so next one I do I hit it and it does this incredible Top Spin and just shears over the grass and doesn't even make it to the lady's teas so he says pick up and hit with us and so I'm kind of got my head in shame and so you know we're hidden so we finally make it to like whole there's 18 holes we make it to whole 13 whole 13 uh is a par five Arnold Palmer had gotten a 12 on this hole like part five Arnold Palmer one of the greatest golfers got a 12 so I'm hacking my way through this hole and um narrow Fairways woods I've lost all my golf balls now and I'm borrowing golf balls from Dr Smith and um so here's what happens oh and so the whole time I the blind guy is having the game of his life and so the whole time I'm hearing Baker's getting beat by a blind guy H and so uh so we get up to this um we get up to this one thing and there's kind of like this little Hill that goes up and then there's the there's the green and so uh the blind guy didn't see how steep it was so he goes to walk up it and he rolls down the hill I'm going to have to admit I kind of enjoyed it I did I did a little bit and so he rolled down and so um and so I'm going to do this little Chip Shot you know it's kind of little a little stroke back hit make contact with it just a gentle just a gentle little lob rolls right to the hill what could go wrong right like it just sounds like a great plan so it went like this it went chip chip and so I didn't follow through fast enough and I made contact with the ball a second time this is true flung a backwards 25 yards which distance-wise was actually one of my better shots of the day Dr Smith looks at his son and says Baker adds 10 Strokes to my game just being around him I want to hear something amazing Dr Smith wrote me a glowing recommendation letter why don't to know why cuz the father's approval of me had nothing to do with my performance it had everything to do with my relationship with his son everybody stand [Applause] up hey guys I got some good news for you healing has nothing to do with your performance it has everything to do with your relationship to a son so let this be like an arrow to your heart you guys ready for this God will not withhold healing from you because you're bad let that sink in God's not going to withhold healing from you because you're bad he's not going to heal you because because you're good he's going to heal you because of what Jesus did on the cross amen so as we're getting ready to pray I want you to just do something that might seem a little bit strange uh my pastor he's really funny he makes up these funny songs and one of the songs he made was um up I'm pushing my chips to the center of the table I'm betting it all on God okay so he writes songs like that right I want us just in our heart I want us to just do kind of do an act where um we're pushing our chips to the center of the table God when it comes to Healing guys what we're pushing we're pushing all our disappointments pushing everything that we could try anything that we could put our own strength in we're getting rid of all of that and we're betting it all on Jesus that what he did is enough okay so I want to I want you to just in your heart just just whatever it is you're turning over maybe it's some of these lies that you believe that you had to break generational curses that you're not good enough that you don't know enough that you don't have enough faith that you're you've got fear that you got overcome all this stuff whatever so just Holy Spirit show us what we need to push to the center of the table so we can bet it all on what Jesus did on the cross is enough so let's just take a few moments and we're going to do that and then we're going to go after some healing or's everybody got a couple of chips all right I want you guys to get ready to push them can you guys feel it there you don't really have to feel it but all right here's what we're going to do close your eyes so that uh you don't look weird you look weird but only I can see you look weird the person next you won't and uh let's just do this Lord we are pushing our chips to the center of the table Lord we're we're getting rid of all the things that we could rely on or own good works our theology our ability to figure it out um getting rid of sin all these type of things God we're betting it that what Jesus did on the cross is enough so the Bible says believe in then receive and so a lot of Christians are doing it backwards they're waiting to feel better and they'll believe Christ is their healer I'm going to ask you this what if you receive Jesus as your healer the same way you received him as your savior how did you receive him as Savior you heard good news and you believed it you he good news God's not mad the way between God and man has been has been bridged between Jesus and you can have relationship with them and gets rid of all your sin you heard that good news and you said yes that's for me I'll take that okay I want you to see that's the same thing for healing you've heard good news that he bore your sickness he carried your pain by your stripes you've been healed guys if we had a time machine and we could go back 2000 years ago I want you to imagine yourself in the crowd with Jesus here he is healing people let's say there's like a prayer line and three people down there's somebody blind and he prays for them and their eyes open up and the first thing they see is that smiling face of Jesus he says I've been waiting for this he goes to the next person and uh he opens up their deaf ears and the first voice they hear is Jesus and he's telling them that he loves them and now he comes and he's looking at you with those eyes of fire let me ask you this if Jesus were standing there and you had a time machine 2,000 years ago would he heal you absolutely here's some good news guys Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever we don't need a time machine he is literally here with us so I want to you just from that place of Faith just to do that and uh so it's believe and then receive and so I want you to receive Christ as healer the same way you received him as Savior is we hear good news that he bore your sickness carried your pain by your Stripes you were healed that payment has already been made I want you to just take a deep breath we're taking the pressure off of us we're focusing on Jesus we're seeing that Jesus healed every person who came to him and he only did what the father did so um just to kind of active our Fai Faith just to start off with if you have a part of your body that needs healing and it's and it's appropriate um just put your hand on that part of the body if not you can just put your hand on your heart or in your shoulder just whatever that looks like and I want you to just uh so you have authority over your own body okay I want you to just say this say this healing belongs to meing belongs to me because of what Jesus has doneus now I want you to notice what we're doing we're believing before we receive we're not waiting to feel better we're not talking about fake it till you make it but I'm recognizing Jesus you already paid for this before I even feel it like you didn't get saved you didn't you didn't feel peace and then believe you were saved you believed you were saved and then the peace came okay so we're believing that you're that you are healed that the price has been paid for you to be healed you're believing that this healing is for you then the increase will come so I want you to say it again this healing belongs to me thisal belongs to because of what Jesus has done Jesus here's one I want you to do I want you to just take a little walk around and just see if there's Improvement look for improvement not Perfection okay maybe was the pain was at a scale of nine and now it's at a seven I want you to look around move around here a little bit and just see if there's Improvement and then we're going to um then we're going to really start this was just kind of like a little pre-art now how many as were doing this you'll say you know I'm feeling some improvement something it may not be all the way there but I'm feeling some improve I want you to just wave your hand okay everybody look around I'm terrible at this I'd say 20% of the room right now so 15% of the room so yeah God that's awesome let me ask you this first of all was that hard okay don't make it any harder okay we're getting ready to pray for each other and we're practicing here okay there is no pressure Jesus does all the heavy lifting and so uh I'm going to teach you a three-step prayer model then I'm going to tell you don't use the prayer model because Jesus never did but this is a nice place to start okay so you guys are already at a table or unless you feel led to go to somebody else and I want I want you guys to get this like cancer is no harder to heal than a headache because Jesus is doing it so we're not going to be bearing down harder no there's no furrowed brows Allowed no wrinkle lines allowed when you're praying unless there's smile lines okay because guys we're not we're not it's not up to us I'm not being flipping about it but I want you to see like we've done this a lot and the times when I get into my own head and I think about the right words nothing happens but it's just that Simplicity we saw without exaggeration 700 people healed One Summer and um someone said Jim what was your biggest lesson I said the shorter the prayers the better little girl wake up eyes be opened stretch out your hand anything more than two or three sentences is unbelief you're just trying to convince yourself okay so we're going to use our Authority and so here's the three-step prayer model what do you want to see happen when we pray initiate the encounter check it out okay let's just go to the first one what do you want to see happen when we pray why is that why is that a good way to do it it's better than saying what's wrong with you oh how long have you got I got prayed for by Randy Clark and Andrew wck and nothing happened don't try to discourage the person who's praying for you what do you want to see happen pray I want my shoulder to be able to move I remember I was at this restaurant I prayed for this lady and um and I as okay this is just a weird story as I'm getting ready to pray and my with my eyes open I saw myself reach around her and draw three stripes on her shoulder oh that's weird I said hey can I try something different I drew three stripes on her shoulder I I knew knew her shoulder was getting prayed for okay so that with the part so I reached around Drew three stripes on her shoulder I said check it out she said is that it I said I don't know check it out she raises her hand she starts crying I said what happened she said uh 25 years ago I was thrown off of a horse my shoulder was shattered so bad they had to remove three muscles I don't have the muscles to be able to lift my shoulder up come on uh I'm super glad I didn't know that I don't have faith for that to be restored so guys you don't need to know everything I want to be able to raise my shoulder okay so what do you want to see happen when we pray I want this cancer to be gone I want to not need insulin anymore I want to be able to walk with no pain you see how that's different than focusing on the negative what do you want to see happen when we pray okay initiate an encounter I want you to just lay hands on them if it's appropriate if not like we joke about this if it's hemorrhoids just send the word like you don't need right like you just speak the word or lay hands on them just put their hand on their shoulder men if you're in here just you know like if a woman has breast cancer how we do it put it this way no woman ever wants you touching her stomach okay so just like no touching bathing suit areas ever um but just men here like like sometimes you pray for one with breast cancer I just have the women put her arms like this I have my wife put her hand on the on the woman's arm I'll put the husband's hand on that so I'm like three layers deep so there's no weirdness going on there you don't want you I mean I mean serious you don't want someone thinking about being touched inappropriately or just any like just be careful okay but for women so um I want you to lay hands on it and say um I remember Jesus said speak to the mountain and tell it to move he didn't say talk to God about your M oh God healed their ear ear be opened in the name of Jesus check it out tumor dissolve in the name of Jesus what are we doing we're using our Authority we're healing the sick because Jesus gave you the power of attorney we don't have to work it up in our emotions so what do you want to see happen when we pray what are you doing you're keeping your eyes on Jesus this whole time Psalm 23:6 in the passion translation says you are my delicious feast what are we doing we're enjoying him maybe you're seeing his face maybe you're seeing the the stripes on his back and recognizing the payment that he made maybe you're seeing him in those moment multitudes maybe you're thinking of a scripture but I'm just enjoying the Lord I'm knowing what his will is I'm recognizing it's never just my hand okay so what do you want to see happen initiate the encounter while your mind's on Jesus have them check it out look for improvement that's it okay so once you get in groups of two or three uh just so so everybody gets to practice let's you just do one person at first okay groups of two or three and um does anyone need you know is anyone healing and then what do you want to see happen initiate an encounter while you're thinking about Jesus remember you're commanding it no long prayers check it out okay guys you have 60 seconds for one person 60 seconds go what do you want what do you want to see happen initiate an encounter check it out 30 more seconds if you're seeing Improvement I want not see 100% Improvement here's what I want you to do are you guys ready for this thankfulness brings increase okay so remember Jesus had the Loaves and the fishes and he gave thanks and it multiplied an increase so Lord I just thank you that it went from like a seven to a five Lord I Thank you that it's a little bit better and see but God your God of 100% pray a second time remember Jesus prayed for the blind guy twice that means we get at least 37 times okay we're still practicing so if you did not get 100% Improvement I want you to pray again uh like again just don't come up with a new prayer just I'm enjoying the Lord Lord we just thank you that the shoulders moving better and uh we just command it to be healed in the name of Jesus check it out okay you've got uh 20 seconds go
