Jesus is Coming | Rapture vs The Second Coming | Just Word Ministry Live

doing all you're going to do god we ask that you use these lips of clay father speak a word to bless this your people lie your word we pray to fall upon good ground to accomplish your purpose in jesus name amen amen um and so we see for sure that uh we're heading at the speed of light towards the last days the last times you can use different terminology for that um two things that we want to accomplish tonight is to identify the rapture and answer that question you ask are there signs of it and then also secondly the coming of the lord and are there signs for that the answers are no and yes so if you fill that out on your sheet then that's what you put down then you got it right no there are no signs of the rapture yes there are signs of the second coming of the lord and so let's talk about these and it doesn't matter what i say it doesn't matter what i think that's not important what's important is what does the word of god say and so let's dig into the word of god and tish i'm going to have you to pull up the scriptures as you um as you see fit some of them i'll definitely uh want you to pull up but before we even do that i am going to pull up uh some notes that i put together from a power point um just so that we can speak get through this part a little bit faster um so i'm gonna try to share my screen oops i shared me let me try that again we see it oh okay cool cool okay so um you can see that that says rapture yes sir okay so when we talk about a rapture um first of all and uh um you know the definition of rapture uh it is actually a latin term a lot of times uh old testament hebrew new testament was written in greek and then you translate it into english but the word rapture in in let me say english is derived from all different kinds of languages the word rapture is actually has latin origin um it is from the latin verb rapido which means to catch up some people get caught up into whether or not this term is used in the bible or not used in the bible but again the definition of rapture is caught up if in the bible it says caught up in english then in latin that is the same as the word rapture yeah rap p.o um i did put a old testament um reference ezekiel 13 and 5 and i'm not a student nor do i subscribe to the latin vulgate but this would just be um an example in ezekiel 13 and 5. um you have not gone up into the gaps neither made up the hedge for the house of israel to stand in the battle in the day of the lord that phrase in latin is non-ascendances ad rapturous going up so what's the definition of rapture tissue caught up yeah caught up or going up your sin yeah um when we look at the the rapture and and i know i i don't want to uh spend very much time on the different raptures in the bible but it's okay if i take like five oh five minutes or so go for it um because i i like um can you see that yes okay and so when i look in the scripture the first one that we see that was raptured was enoch and even his uh very name depicts a rapture enoch walked with god after he got methuselah 300 years and he got sons and daughters and all the days in enoch were 365 years and enoch walked with god and he was not for god did what took him for god took him um now i like to um break enoch's name down and so i'm going to try to do that in in um prayerfully you can see this um so we have enoch and his name right here in the hebrew which is so picturesque it is kept in nuan uh oh here's your test cat is a picture of a fence originally a pictograph of a fence and knowing a picture of a feed seed or life and so uh enoch's name first thing you see is life life and that in hebrew is the word grace king cain in hebrew which is in english grace the word grace now this next letter va this one was a picture of a noun which speaks of conjunction or union and then lastly is the letter what have calf got it the letter calf which was originally drawn as a picture of a arm of the hand palm of the hand and so now enoch's name literally means grace and then what happens this life in the fence grace which is what grace is you're living inside of this fence your purpose inside of the fence and then what happens to enoch is the hand comes along and um so i just cleared that now let me go back to here and i'm going to do prayerfully there we go and so that's it those are the components of enoch's name so what do you think is going to happen with enoch he's going to be taken up but yeah he's going gonna be taken up because you have this life the seed living inside of a fence and then what comes along is this and does what makes them up fancy you figured it out enoch represents the rapture um and in the old testament when you look at their names you'll see what their purpose was based on their names okay um then there was elijah now wait hold on let's go back to enoch for just a sec because the book of hebrews yes chapter 11 verse 5 at the bottom of the screen says by faith enoch was translated that he should not see death and was not found because god had translated him for before his translation he had this testimony that he pleased god yes the reason why he made the rapture was because he pleased god and the reason why he made the rapture was because he was living his life was inside of the fence and walking with god walking with god and the lord took him which means raptured yes rapture means caught up or he took him rapture is in the bible it happens a number of times um so we've already been fine man so real quick so then elijah was the second one and you see this in second kings chapter 2 verse 9 they go over elijah told elisha ask what i shall do for thee before i be taken away um verse 11 catch this verse 11 2 kings 2 verse 11 it came to pass as they still went on talk that behold there appeared a chariot of fire horses of fire parted them both asunder and elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven and again elisha saw it and cried my father my father charities are horsemen thereof um the third one jesus in the book of acts chapter 1 uh verse 9. he spoke these things while they beheld he was taken up which again word raptured and a cloud received him out of their sight and they while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up behold two men stood by them in white apparel which also said you mentionality why standing here gazing into heaven the same jesus which is raptured taken up from you into heaven shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven a reverse rapture coming back um in the book of revelation so we're moving pretty fast yeah we're doing great we're good uh pace in the book of revelations and revelations chapter 11 you have two witnesses um two prophets that preach and they fight against the antichrist the beast the false prophet um and they that so they get killed and the bible says in verse 10 and they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them and make mary and shall send gifts one to another because these two prophets tormented them that dwell on the earth now when you read further in that chapter further up in that chapter you find out that these two are laying in jerusalem dead and everyone on the entire earth is able to see their dead bodies lying on the streets of jerusalem but verse 11 here it comes and after three days and a half the spirit of life from god entered into them and they stood upon their feet and great fear fell upon them which saw them and they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them come up hither and they were raptured ascended up to heaven in a cloud and their enemies beheld them so again in every one of these raptures where it speaks what happens whoever's around them is able to see them and watch them as they're raptured up into heaven during the rapture tish what happens others around them watch them go up into him yeah they were able to watch but when the raptor they do what they're taking up they ascend they go up they're taken up they ascend they go up that is the rapture um and so we have some common words that we see in every one of these raptures that's that's where it depicts what happens enoch the bible say god took him elijah he was taken away taken from he has taken the lord takes him up jesus acts 1 verse 9 and 11. it didn't just say jesus went up underneath just his own power okay we recognize his godship but what the bible also wants you to know is about the rapture because in the rapture you don't just float away no in the rapture somebody is taking you that's tight in whoever's hand that you are in i remind i'm reminded of john chapter 10 where he says you're it no man pluckets you out of my hand and so it's tight even that here we are saved we don't have to wait for god to reach his hand down to rapture us we're already in his hand all he has to do is take us out go ahead and talk to me this is great okay so i love i'm gonna stop the share just for a second to reiterate all these points so we can see raptures throughout the bible and so we see okay rapture talks about being caught up it talks about being taken up and so we see from the beginning number one there's a lifestyle that precedes those being raptured enoch he walked with god he had the testimony that he pleased god his life was in the fence we have elijah the prophet jesus who lived a perfect life and then the two witnesses who are ministering and so they have you notice nobody who is unrighteous unholy not working for god is rapture okay but then we see in all of them when the bible specifies and three of those four we see that well we see that they're all taken up but we see in three of the four the people around them with elijah with jesus and the two witnesses they watch them go up they didn't just disappear but in the rapture god takes them up so with the rapture they're taken and we see that throughout the bible those whose lifestyle is pleasing god we see when it's time he takes them up and that's the rapture and that's what we want to be a part of amen so um i don't know have you shared the screen back with him nope you're gonna have to reshare i can't reshare yours okay because i i i kind of want to stay with sharing it for the most part tonight um so this is where we were enoch lord took him elijah he was taken away by god the lord will take away jesus he was taken up not just floated away taken up um and um so in the rapture you see those that are saved are taken yes but what you're about to receive is in the second coming those that are saved are left and the rapture the ones left behind are the ones that are not saved right the ones that are saved are the ones taken in the rapture but in the second coming the ones who are left behind are saved and the ones who are taken are not saved reiterate that for me real quick make sure they get the rapture you want to be taken that's right want to be taken caught up in the rapture that's a song but you want to be caught up in the rapture and if you're left behind it's because you were not the ones who were saved pleasing god walking with god with the second coming you want to be left you do not want to be taken i know that's right um so one more point that we'll make regarding um that rapture keeps using this terminology of seeing and i know that's not the emphasis of tonight but um again the elijah told elijah you'll get a double portion if you see me when i'm taken and it said he saw it saw him no more jesus they beheld until he uh went out of their sight they kept gazing they seen him go they looked uh the two witnesses in revelations 11 and 9 the nations uh the the kin folk um everybody gets to see them no matter where you are in the world as their bodies lie there they get to hear the voice of god all over the world and then they get to behold as they're taken up now let's get to the second coming let's try to get to the second coming so when you look at the second coming it's not about the lord just taking folks um in uh but rather in the second coming it's about the lord coming jesus the lord coming to earth to reign on earth and we see this throughout the scripture at the bottom of the screen i put some of the scriptures that deal with his second coming matthew 24 luke 17 revelations 19 ezekiel 39 daniel 7 joel 3 and zechariah 14 which i really like going to zechariah and now we can compare zachariah in the book of luke for the second coming and then since we're going to go all the way back to the rapture in the new testament first thessalonians here okay yep and we'll put all this in the notes you guys okay so we made the statement though that during the second coming of christ you want to be if you're here you want to be left now the church should already be gone but if you're here during your second coming then once uh he comes you want to be in the category that speaks of being left now let's go to luke chapter 17 and we'll go to verse 34 and 35 and 36 34-36 can i say something real quick you can say whatever you want to say you want me to share my screen yes i do okay so while i share my screen i want to make sure you guys um that we mentioned we're going to talk next week um a lot more in depth about the timeline with the things why you want to be taken when it comes to the rapture why you want to be left after so we'll be talking about the tribulation armageddon new heaven and new earth next week okay um so we'll get into more of the context but for now we're talking about the second coming and we're in luke 17 for guiding me on that with that statement that way i won't go into well and i just one or what will be going on during each period yeah well even some of that is okay well i just want you guys to know we're going to go more into detail of like you want to be taken with the rapture because tribulations follow so so tish let's go up to uh verse number 30 and hopefully you can share the screen and show more than one scripture yeah i can do it with pc study oh i can share more than one we're good okay so that that you see this is dealing with his second coming um that's why i want to go up to verse 30. even thus shall be in the day when the son of man is revealed in that in that day he would shall be up on the house top and his stuff in the house then i like the way luke writes by the way he's my well one of my favorite of the 66 books uh let him not come down to take it away and he that is in the field let him likewise not return back remember lot's wife go ahead verse 33. we use this scripture in verse 33 whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it i tell you in that day there shall be two men in one bed we'll talk about that maybe now the one shall be taken and the other shall be what left left two women shall be grinding together the one shall be taken and the other left two men shall be in the field the one shall be taken and the other left verse 37 and they answered and said unto him where lord and he said unto them wheresoever the body is neither will the eagles be gathered together and that's important because what he's talking about is from revelations chapter 19 verse 17 18 and 21 let's pour that up and then we'll go to zechariah key word that we're dealing with right now is being left when the second coming happens verse 17. go up one verse i like that verse and he has on his vesture this is when the almighty comes back jesus is not coming back by as a little boy born in a manger this time he's coming back with the wrath of the almighty god and he has on his vesture and on his thigh name written king of kings and lord of lords and i saw an angel standing in the sun crying with a loud voice saying to all the what saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven do what come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great god verse 18 read that ye may eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of captains and the flesh of mighty men and the flesh of horses and of them that sit on them and the flesh of all men both free and bond both small and great this is battle of armageddon all the folks that get killed in all of these foul files f-o-w-l or foul they come and they feast off of the dead bodies of those that fight against jesus so i don't want to grow into that too much verse 21 lastly read and the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse which sword proceeded out of his mouth and all the files were filled with their flesh okay and so now if you just go back to the one verse luke 17 verse 37 this is talking about the second coming of the lord where the fowl of the air are going to feast at the battle of armageddon when jesus destroys all those armies that fight against israel you want to be on israel's side in that battle again the answer said where lord what are you talking about relative to this two one taken one left where lord he said wheresoever the body is neither will the eagles be gathered together now what other scriptures does he talk about the same thing we already told you but for time's sake let's go to zechariah chapter 14. so zechariah um the first point we want to talk about is being left to say left left do you want to be the one taken or the one left in the second coming what do you want to be left yeah you actually want to be raptured but if you don't make the rapture then then then you want to be left where do we get that from zechariah chapter 13 verse number 8 and 9 read it says and it shall come to pass that in all the land saith the lord two parts therein shall be shall be cut off and die but the third shall be left therein third shall be what left therein and read verse nine oh sorry i clicked something hold on there we go and i will bring the third part through the fire and we'll refine them as silver is refined and we'll try them as gold as tribe they shall call on my name and i will hear them i will say it is my people and they shall say the lord is by god during that time second coming the ones he's talked about here he says uh two parts are going to be cut off and die verse eight but the third part shall be what left their left that third part in verse nine he brings them through the fire um he refines them as silver refined and they call on the name even after the rapture oh i don't know if i should go into this right now no that's a bunch of folks that are saved because of three things his spirit his name and his blood but we don't need to go into that in too much depth right now because there's some folks that say oh after the rapture that's the only chance you've got um that's not word that's against the word um call on my name one third the part that is left are saved at the second coming but at the rapture the part that is left are the unsaved let's go a step further zechariah 14. hey hey tish um let's go to zechariah 14 verse one and two the second coming behold the day of the lord what cometh and thy swell shall be divided into mystery for i will gather what all nations against jerusalem to battle yeah this is the battle of armageddon and the city shall be taken and the house is rifled and the women ravished and half of the city shall go forth into captivity and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city then shall the lord go forth and fight against those nations as when he fought in the day of battle uh i i want to stay down the street for just a second and his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of olives which is before jerusalem on the east and the mountains shall cleave shall cut in the middle shall be cut right in the middle and so as not to get too much into the next class zechariah 14 verse 16 through 18 you read all right and then i have a question so zechariah 14 16 through 18 and it shall come to pass that everyone that is left of all the nations oops i clicked on something hold up okay it shall come to pass that everyone that is left of all the nations which came against jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the king the lord of hosts and to keep the feast of tabernacles and it shall be that whoso will not come up of all of the families of the earth unto jerusalem to worship the king the lord of hosts even upon them shall be no reign and if the family of egypt go not up and come not that have no reign there shall be the plague wherewith the lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles so i will make a comment again try not to trespass on next week's lesson but even after the rapture and even after the second coming folks actually live and inhabit the earth and um and they still have requirements that they have to do now the point for tonight is that in the second coming in zechariah 14 verse 16 the ones that are left are the ones that are saved and in zechariah 13 verse 8 the ones that are left are the ones that are saved just as in luke 17 is talking about the same thing uh in luke 17 the ones that are left are the ones who are saved at the second coming and we'll talk about science here in just a minute go ahead please okay can you you want me to summarize or you'll ask questions uh summarize first okay so we're seeing that in the timeline of things to come there are two times that jesus comes first time is the rapture and that is uh simply when we're caught up or taken you gotta have the lifestyle before but then those who are raptured are taken and that's what you want to be a part of the church that's taken to forever be with the lord then later down the line after tribulation he's coming back now we'll talk more about that next week about how we'll be coming with him but he's coming back the second time and at the second coming it's to reign on earth you do not want to be taking that time you want to be left anything else you want me to hit with that i think that's awesome okay and so most of many of the scriptures a lot of times we associate with the rapture we'll see like that like in that luke 17 the details of it are consistent not with us being taken without event with the trump the trump sounding and we meet in the lord in the air they're consistent with the coming back which is going to include the battle of armageddon um the rain on the new earth and the rest of that timeline we'll talk about next week if you guys have questions let us know but um hopefully that summarizes okay um the question well and i guess i did a little bit of it what i was going to ask about was just last week at the very beginning you did just a brief overview of that timeline but i guess i kind of did that so we can keep going okay uh is so um again i'm i'm trying to not tread on uh uh next week's class but i do want to i do want to point out one more scripture that i mentioned that's in joel chapter joel chapter 3 verse 2 and 3. i won't go through all of it but the valley of jehoshaphat it talks about which is also referred to as the valley of decision where there's a decision that's got to be made even at the second coming whose side are you on right are you on the lord's side or on you are you on the side of all these folks is fighting against israel uh that's gonna be the wrong side to be on um and so a lot of people talk about oh two men in one bed and two women grinding at but he gets them out of the bed and one person that gets out of the bed goes to hell the other person that he gets out of the bed ends up being saved because they get refined by what they go through during that period and they call on the name wow oh if you were on here i'd be speaking in tongues right now um but joe hell in chapter three verse two and three uh very very similar uh we've already seen remember lot's wife as it was in the days of noah there are signs of the second coming uh but let's look at joel 3 verse 2 and 3 real quick read that joel 3 verse 2 and 3 i will also gather all nations and hold on again just like in revelations luke matthew zechariah now enjoy is all nations being gathered at this battle in the valley of jehoshaphat armageddon the valley of decision you're gonna have a decision to make okay i was off we'll also gather all nations breed and we'll bring them down into the valley of jehoshaphat and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage israel whom they have scattered among the nations and parted my land and they have cast lots for my people and have given a boy foreign harlot and sold a girl for wine that they may drink whoa man this is a jacked up situation here isn't it um where uh you got all these nations to gather against israel and he's saying i really still want to save you okay it's not really my goal to kill folks and punish folks because i really am a merciful god but when you look and see what's going on what they have done he said they cast lots for my people and given a boy for harlot they use boys as as as our as prostitutes do stuff with little boys in this time and then the girls the men ain't have don't have a use for the girl as much because they're more into wine than girls and they're into boys there's some videos that y'all should watch that speaks to this day and time with a lot of people that are at the top levels in politics but let's go ahead on uh and we'll go on from that during the rapture you want to be taken during the second coming if you're here you want to be left um so the rapture tisch you want me to talk a little bit about the rapture yeah definitely i would love to talk about the rapture and the signs we also have a question if you want to answer real quick or we can address it next week it's up to you uh it's up to you because you know the question so you have to okay i'll read it just because it's uh just so we can answer it but just because my screen my screen is not shared right now mm-hmm okay it is oh no no my screen is shared though um so the two okay we'll do these questions really quick because they're getting into the timeline which is great so we're gonna have all the next week to address this timeline they're trying to push us in the next week what is wrong with these folks we're feeling that but you guys just stay with that so we have to do everything decently and but it's also connected so really quickly so will the saints be here during tribulation they mentioned mentioned revelations 13-7 it was given unto him to make war with the saints and to overcome them so will the saints be here during tribulation if we can do a brief answer and then more detail next week well um i won't amen and we're getting ready to show you why we're getting we're getting ready to let you see why the church will be taken before that scripturally it gives us various examples that scriptures that speak to the church having already been taken before the second coming of uh of christ and we should be looking at these those scriptures here in just a minute if we have time because i do want to talk about the question about the signs yes we definitely rapture versus second time time's going so fast well y'all are sticking with us i'm excited okay the next question is just a yes or no for now we'll go more detail next time will the church slash saints who are raptured be involved in the battle of armageddon coming back with the lord you better believe it yeah we look for horses yeah you re read revelations chapter 19 uh he can't be king and uh unless uh king of kings unless there's other kings he can't be lord of lords unless there's other lords and there's a army the bible says that follows him on white horses and how does that army get to heaven that army gets to heaven via the rapture right via the rapture and then come back with him we'll see him process okay and we're going to reign on earth with him yeah yeah okay but but but we can't come back with him unless we've already been taken caught up i.e raptured okay go ahead this is great no let's keep going so let's say the rapture and then the the statement about how we know there are no signs of the rapture and then what the signs are of the second coming okay so good so so when we look at the rapture one of the things that um uh jumps out at me is what the bible speaks and again i'm going to go to for time sake two powerpoint um second peter chapter 3 verse number 12. this is not the rapture looking for and hastening unto the coming of the day of god wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved and the elements shall melt with fervent heat that's talking about the refining of heaven and earth when having an earth um both are caught on fire and then he has and makes and brings a new heaven and earth that overtakes the current one um i was going to um man i got some tight stuff on these sides this if they go back and let's look they'll see that during the or after the rapture they're still messengers uh they're still have a message after the rapture that they preach oh this is cheating if they re they'll see that the spirit still moves after the rapture they'll see that the name still saves after the rapture and oh don't let me put that one and yeah let me keep on going who's saved after save from what okay here's where we're going next week guys next week during so paul writes in philippians chapter 3 verse 20 for our conversation is in heaven from whence also we look for the savior the lord jesus christ who shall change our vile body that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself in this passage and again greek is an inflective language um each word has a specific meaning depending on the use and that's why it is beneficial for you to study a little bit deeper but he said we look for the savior the lord jesus christ our conversation in heaven from whence also we look for that looking for that he's talking about is a greek verb used in the first person plural because we look for the action and then it's used in what tense the present present tense and so what that is showing that paul at that time was saying myself and you the church of philippi we're right now looking for him to to come anytime and get us we're expecting the rapture anytime because we have no clue no clue when the rapture will happen we know when the second coming will happen or we have signs that dictate when it will happen but not the rapture not then titus chapter 2 verse 13 paul writes the titus looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great god and our savior jesus christ and again that is used in the present tense present tense oh i don't want to go there um and so they were looking for to stop to share they were looking for the rapture to happen and there are other scriptures that deal with that colossians he addresses it they were expecting the rapture leaving room that the rapture could happen anytime right and when the rapture happens uh then that's where first thessalonians comes in and you didn't want us to get into that no i want us to okay so first thessalonians go to chapter four uh let's start at verse 13. definitely first thessalonians 4 not joel that was still up there from last time okay first session is chapter four but i would not have you can you see it yeah but i would not have you too oh be ignorant brother okay and again i like looking at the words using more archaic pronunciation i would not have you to be ignorant not an iq like i'm dumb or something but he's saying don't be ignorant that's what ignorant is i would not have you to be ignorant brethren concerning them which are asleep that ye sorrow not even of others which have no hope for if we believe that jesus died and rose again even so them also which sleep in jesus will god ring with jesus for this we say unto you by the word of the lord that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the lord shall not prevent them which are asleep for the lord himself shall descend from heaven with a what doubt with a shout with the voice of the archangel with the trump of god and the dead in christ shall rise first then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the lord where in the air and so shall we ever be with the lord wherefore comfort one another with these words go back down just a little bit i want verse 17 on there though okay verse 16 17 particularly so that's fine for the for the lord himself shall do what descend from heaven with a way doubt with a foot with the shout with a shout in zechariah 14 in revelations 19 he descends from heaven with his feet whoa and he stands up on the mountain and the mountain splits in two yes that's great that's what we refer to as the second coming of the lord to reign on earth but when he comes for the rapture the lord himself does not descend from heaven with his feet right he just descends from heaven with a doubt and then those that are dead in christ rise first then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up which means rapture together with them so he even gives you the order of what happens during the rapture the lord comes not to earth comes shouts the center of heaven with a shout right those that hear his voice they rise from the dead then the ones that are already alive they go up together with him to meet him in the clouds yes and so shall we ever be with the lord which is the only way that we can come back with him after um after the tribulation now yeah so let me go ahead and address what he addresses earlier um for the if we believe okay which word you want to know which verse you were going for you just said earlier okay so verse 14 uh if we believe jesus died and rose again even so them also which sleep in jesus will god bring with him so when jesus comes back he's going to bring back the dead folks right but where how does he bring them back again he's not coming to earth here in this passage this is referring and we see in revelation 6 9-11 that the souls under the altar when somebody to save now dies their soul goes to heaven yes that didn't used to be if you go back and listen to just word and when we talked about the trichotomy you'll understand it's more but now if you die or when you die your soul goes to heaven your body goes in the grave yes when jesus comes back in the rapture he's going to bring back those souls of the saints that are dead with him in the cloud the folks he's coming back to get he's bringing back with him yes their soul then they rise from the dead their body and then there is reunion in the sky as the saints that are live rise with the ones that were dead the bodies that were dead has been transformed and there you have it we are each our body spirit is so all together one more time does that make sense to you you want to articulate that better and then and then i want to hit something else in first corinthians 15. i think it's the center that we hear i i think this is great um and okay so i'm gonna do a quick summary and then if you want can you share i think that picture would be a great context do you know the picture where you wrote on the board can you share your screen with the powerpoint and that'll help me review and then um but yep on the powerpoint there's a slide where we have kind of the broader timeline so i wanna yep um and so i love it was eye-opening to me just a couple weeks ago when i finally understood why we know there are no signs for the rapture so i'll come back to that but i want to look at this broad picture so we can see that context um yeah that one so this is the big picture timeline we're going to go into detail next week so we may not be able to hit all your questions right now if they're about the details of the rest but you see so before this picture we have the last days that we're living in that are perilous times due to people's choices but they are the last days the latter times next up we've got the rapture the taking up and so this is a picture from a lesson at church about this then there's the tribulation there's the coming of the lord we're going to talk about this in more detail next week than the millennial reign um and then at the end we have new heaven new earth okay i just want to have satan lose after the millennium reign for a period and then heaven and new earth yeah i didn't just don't want to go into those details let's go um so the rapture we there are no signs how do we know because when the apostles wrote about the rapture and looking for the appearing of the lord they wrote about it in the present tense it wasn't 2 000 years ago we're still waiting for this to happen and this to happen and we need to see this sign in this sign it was any moment now he can crack the sky for the rapture so there were not signs and those passages where it lists the signs the things that are described are consistent not with the rapture which again we see the rapture he's coming with a shout it's not him coming to stand on earth we meet him in the air he's not coming to earth he's taking us up in the rapture he's coming in the clouds and we'll meet him in the air with the second coming he's on earth he's establishing his reign we're fighting in armageddon and we'll come back with them on horses okay now in between those two we see we saw glimpses that will hit next week we still see there's still a message there's still salvation so that's next week but rapture's second coming is coming once to take the church that's ready he's coming back later to establish his reign on earth you want to make sure for the rapture just like with emac you walk with god this is what you're going to study this week in week two's lesson enoch walked with god he pleased god he lived his life in the fence we see there was a lifestyle that preceded the rapture but then we see um as we look at the bigger picture in these end times there's also the second coming that's my summary i'm done because it's nine o'clock i see some of you i've already requested 30 more minutes and an hour we love you if you're willing to give us five more minutes go ahead and put that in the comments thank you guys so so um the rapture that we talked about first thessalonians 4 brings back those he's coming to get that's time that refers to the ones that have died their souls he brings them back the dead in christ rise first then we that are alive and remain are caught up i.e raptured together with them to meet the lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the lord right now remember and i i just want to make this point real quick again that a lot of people when they do movies or rapture it's in here and boom they're going that is not bible okay every rapture in the bible they had the signs and they went up gradually and people beheld them saw them but where do they get that from from first corinthians chapter 15 um verse number uh 51. go there 51-52 because people um god bless us um behold i show you a mystery we shall not all sleep i.e be dead but when you're dead in christ you sleep we shall not all sleep but we shall all be what changed changed in a moment in the twinkling of an eye at the last time for the trumpet shall sound the death shall be raised incorruptible and we shall be changed so this adds more to first thessalonians 4 because now we know for sure what happens that they read this and that word in that word moment is the greek word atomos right adam the smallest division of a particle uh the smallest division of time he doesn't say the rapture will happen quick like that yeah he says but our change will happen like that that's tight so so somebody's going to get up and rise from the grave but it's because of the change has happened yes okay the change happens instantaneously quicker than that in a moment in the twinkling of an eye trumpet sounds uh lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout with the voice of archangel in the trunk of god the trumpet shall sound the dead shall be raised incorruptible when they get up out of the grave they're not coming up out of the grave with skin hanging off teeth missing and hair you know looking like mine um but when they come up they've already been changed yes they're changed we're changed they rise from the dead and then we all get caught up together in the rapture to meet the lord in the air i just thought i'd throw that in there for free signs of the coming of the lord yeah and i love that point can i say something real quick i just think that's something about looking at such a great study tip and looking at stuff in context it's literally in the same sentence we shall all be changed comma in a moment in the twinkling of an eye so we've gotta make sure we read and so that change happens as a part that change from incorruptible up from corruptable into incorruptable we get our new bodies that change is momentary but in all the raptures where the details are given they watch them go up make sure you make the rapture so that would be horrible to observe people i know that's right especially you know what's going on right exactly that would make it that would make it better that'd make it worse when i got left behind again and this ain't the second coming to the earth this is the rapture you don't want to want to be taken um and so um and so the signs that are spoken of therefore in the bible are not signs of the rapture but they're signs rather of the second coming of christ and um and so we see those um in a number of passages we mentioned luke 17 as it was in the days of lot they eat they drained they bought they sowed they planted they built it uh in so like the days of lot verse 26 or the days of noah so shall be in the days of the coming of the son of man so you can look and see what was going on in those days in those days you had folks just gratifying themselves drunkards whoremongers uh etc etc those are signs of the second coming of the lord you had men marrying men getting giving giving in marriage to men loving men uh women uh burning for women um and so be very careful uh the day that we're living in has the signs of the second coming now that's luke chapter number 17. um in matthew 24 you have signs of the second coming [Music] and i think those are so cool because you see the disciples asking about the signs of his coming and we assume that's about the rapture but it's about the second coming it's about the second coming yeah um and it makes sense even because they say the sign of thy coming and of the end of the world that's what i didn't know you had that up there but i had that in my bible that's what i was going to hit next um because one um again is the rapture there are no signs two is the lord coming back and then three is the renovation of the uh sun the moon the stars the uh the sun is going to be black the moon's gonna drip with blood uh the earth is going to catch on fire uh there will be new heaven and earth so what the disciples question here is about more than one thing but their question is not about the rapture and so he addresses what they're asking and he says again matthew 24 verse 7 for nations shall rise against nations kingdoms against kingdom families pestilences earthquakes and divers places you've got all and he says these are just the beginning of sorrows okay um and um so you have all that now we have our first gig of gigafire ever recorded in history in the united states it's burning in california right now um what i've seen on the internet said it started at the gay party now if can you imagine that being the church if the church was having service and because they violated the ordinance it had church and you had a million acres burning and it's only 10 controlled still they would be fighting against the church all the people that have died all the houses that uh have been burned but the news says nothing the media they support sin they support the devil i think he read where he says he's the prince of power the heir and he's really in control of the airwaves but you have california on fire from a gay party you have homosexuality rampant like in the days of lot in the days of noah and again i'll say that you don't discriminate because of sexuality relative to your workplace but you still follow whatever the word of god says whether heterosexual homosexual he says it's gonna be like the days of noah they're marrying and giving in marriage you got men that's marrying this one then they married that woman then they got married that woman fornication fornication fornication fornication um pestilences you've got diseases you've got covet but then in earthquakes but he said this is just the beginning louisiana is getting ready to have what about their third or fourth hurricane this year all of these are signs of the second coming and if there's our signs of the second coming already happening that are the beginning signs then the rapture we see in scripture has to happen before the second coming so you know if we're seeing signs of the second coming the rapture has to happen before he comes back okay i hope you understand what i said he said these are the beginning of sorrows uh many false prophets shall arise and shall deceive many matthew 24 verse 11. these are signs because iniquity shall bound the level many shall wax code but he that endureth unto the end the same shall be saved now people again look at that and they did not understand the difference in rapture versus second coming before before and during the second coming where we read there's people that's going to be saved israel he's going to really go after israel who did not believe he was the christ right we get raptured out of here with the christ and went oh okay i'm getting into the next one but when the antichrist sits in the temple that jesus is supposed to be sitting in then the jews are going to realize uh-uh he ain't the one and they start calling his name and they are going to get saved there will be saints saved by the name by the blood by the spirit by the water after the rapture wow the gospel verse 14 key and this gospel the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for witness unto all nations and then shall the end come wow and he said when you therefore see the abomination of desolation spoken by daniel stand in a holy place parentheses who readeth let him understand then let him which be in judea flee into the mountain him which is in the house stop not come down let him which is in the field return back to take return um let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes and woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days um again verse 21 the great tribulation the great tribulation these are signs luke 17 is signs um zachariah joelle all of these are signs of the second coming of christ back to the earth they have nothing to do with being signs of the rapture but because the rapture happens before the second coming no if we see the signs of the second coming his coming is nearer in the clouds is near than when we first believed go ahead amen so this is great so the disciples asked about the signs of his coming in the end of the world and we see that though those signs that he gives before you wrap up tish before we wrap up let me read two verses in matthew 24 okay yeah for as the lightning cometh verse 27 28 for as the lightning cometh out of the east and shines even unto the west so shall also the coming of the son of man be for wheresoever the carcass is there will the eagles be gathered together um immediately after the tribulation over those days the sun will be dark and the moon shall not give her light the stars shall fall from heaven and the powers of heaven shall be shaken and then shall appear to sign of the son of man in heaven and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn and they shall see the son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with great power and great we keep 31 2 and he shall send his angels with the great sound of trump and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds from one end of heaven to the other from one into heaven to the other okay um verse 33 so likewise ye when you shall see all these things know that it is near even at the door okay and so if this was talking about the rapture okay then we would be sitting saying now the rapture's not happening yet because we don't see any of this but he's talking he's not talking to about the rapture we'll already be gone but for the ones that are still here when they see this stuff that start to happen he says know that it is near even at the door yeah yeah and the gathering of the elect from the parts of one into heaven to the other is that up getting us because we're about to come back with them is that what that's talking about i would dress let's address that next next week he brings us back with him okay um and so where where you are where you are is when the sea gives up the dead and everything gives up the dead but that is actually after the rapture cool so next week right here we are here is after the rapture when he gathers because again after the rapture folks are still going to be saved folks are going to be headed yeah revelation 6 and 9. they're going to see what's going on in earth and then when you get into revelations chapter 19 particularly 2021 then you'll start to see he still gathers saints together uh that are killed after the round so let's talk about people on earth but under her okay this is great so next week we're going to address the final timeline more but we see here the signs the wars the rumors of wars the pestilence the married and given in marriage those are signs of his second coming but since we understand that the rapture is prior to the second coming it is when we start to see nearer than when we first believed and when we see the signs of the second coming um and then we're also going to look at some of the things the bible talks about in order to enter the kingdom and inherit the kingdom and so this week we are working on living in the last days of course on the end times we want you to join us we'll be sending out the notes we'll be posting clips we want to dig just i'll just read the first two verse now we beseech you brother by the coming of our lord jesus christ and by our gathering together unto him that ye be not soon shaken in mind or be troubled neither by spirit nor by word nor by letter as from us as that the day of christ is at hand don't be tripping like you think the day of christ is at hand let no man deceive you by any means for that day shall not come let the rapture that they shall not come except there come a following and that man of sin be revealed revealed the son of perdition the revelation of the antichrist who opposed and exalted himself above all that's called god or that is worship so that he is god sitteth in the temple of god showing himself that he is god uh remember ye not that when i was yet with you i told you these things and now you know what withholdeth that he may that he might be revealed in this time what is stopping the devil's plan right now y'all what is stopping satan from reigning right now for the mystery of iniquity does already work only he the body of christ who now let us will let until he be taken out of the way and then shall that wicked be revealed whom the lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth which is revelation 19 and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming so he let you know we have to be taken out of the way then satan can have his way and then the lord will come whoa that's so tight all right no that's tight hold on we can't leave that we've got to be taken we have to be taken rapture right verse seven exactly we've got to be taken and then i'm still stuck at the beginning where we don't have to be shaken like the day of christ is at hand because it is not at hand exactly is not about to come back on earth and reign on earth yet there are still things that have to happen which is why it makes so much sense that they're like we're looking they're looking for the rapture but those signs that he's like don't be deceived or shaken like it's about to happen any minute these things have to happen first the rapture there are no signs we have to be taken out the way then the man of sin will be revealed then there's the tribulation there's all the stuff on the antichrist y'all gotta stick with us though next week we're gonna do the final timeline so big picture what's happening from now until the end class four we're going to look at the example of noah because these times are compared to the times that noah lived in and then week five to close out the series don't be deceived we'll talk about the antichrist the mark of the beast and 2nd thessalonians chapter 2. i hope you all aren't as excited as i am this is exciting and ladies there means preventing you can't be revealed it's impossible if somebody's walking around saying they're the antichrist that is going to be sitting in the temple they're not it they can't be revealed got to be taken home i'm still here yep thank you jesus so we gotta stop and i love how much time y'all get how y'all offered 10 minutes the whole week this is exciting getting into the word understanding the times i ran and remember in one of the passages he told us we don't need to be ignorant then which we want to know this and we want to live in the last days in the way that pleases god with all thy getting get understanding don't just be hearers of the word but doers also so week two you want to get that done before next week week two jesus is coming let's look at the promise of his coming let's look at waking up and looking up and let's look at um are you ready remember enoch he walked with god and please god elijah worked for god jesus fulfilled his assignment uh the two witnesses they preached and did their work there was something that needed to happen prior to the rapture and we all we all should know if you don't know the bible says except a man be born of water and spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of god so we want to make sure we are ready and are ready to inherit because first corinthians 6 everybody's not going to inherit it either well if jesus is coming back and he is he's coming back for his bride and he is his church and he is uh the ones he's coming back for are the ones who has his spirit yeah and they also have his name they have his blood yes just like on the micro scale he brings back those souls spirits to be joined with those dead bodies that are in the grave yeah because that person has to be gathered all together into one right we are members of his body of his fleshing of his bones and since we have his spirit when he comes back he's just really getting himself all together that's tight yeah that's tight so guys make sure you get your workbook we're talking about jesus is coming next week the final timeline what happens next in the final week what should i be doing right now so we'll talk about it let's get into the word join the group because we're talking about this we want to hear you want to see your
