Hi Vogue, I'm Jeanne Damas, today I'm going to show you my five-minute morning beauty routine to look fresh and natural. The first step in my skincare routine is to apply a serum. This one is great, it's got vitamin C. I never used to use serum before and I found this one in a pharmacy. I put five drops. And when my skin is moisturized enough, especially in the summer, I just use this, I don't use a moisturizer after. It really plumps up the skin. Sometimes it tingles a bit because there's vitamin C in it. I also put it on my neck. Then, an eye contour cream. I realized that the skin around the eyes is really thinner. It helps to relieve fatigue a little bit. And the skin here is much more sensitive, so you can't use just any cream. I try to massage my face as much as possible, when I have time, with a cream, or with an oil too. I really like oils. Then I mix my moisturizer - right now it's Augustinus Bader, which is great - and I mix it every day of the year with a sunscreen. I mix it into my moisturizer. Just like that. For several years now, I've been mixing sunscreen with my moisturizer every day, even in the winter, because I think the best anti-aging technique is to protect your skin. In my bathroom, since I had my son, it's a bit of a rush. I have to get ready while he's here. He even steals my brushes or my brush. I shower next to him. I think every parent knows this. I hardly ever apply masks anymore, or sometimes at night. That's why I try to be as quick as possible. The last step of this skincare is the lips. My lips are already quite moisturized, but I always put more on. Normally, it's a night mask called Laneige. I've started using it recently. Since I wear lipstick every day, it's super important to moisturize my lips all the time. So that was my skincare routine. And of course, in the evening, I remove my makeup. The most important thing is to remove your makeup, to remove pollution. I don't like to transform or hide myself. I really see makeup as a way to reveal myself and especially to bring color to my face. For me, it's about small touches of color, opening the eye. For the first step of my makeup, I often start with my eyebrow gel. A little tip if you don't have gel: it also works with soap on a toothbrush. I have a few holes in my eyebrows, but I don't mind. I don't think very well defined eyebrows suit me. I don't know if it's conventional to start with the eyebrows. I think I do everything a bit randomly, but I just do things instinctively. I don't know why, but I feel like the eyebrows are the first thing to do. I often use the eyelash curler. It's a bit of a torture device. I take them at the root, I put them on the side, like this, and then I press. That way, it looks more like a cat eye. I don't really like to put mascara on too much, especially because I'm too lazy to remove it at night and I think it stays on for a few days afterwards. And I also love having natural lashes. Mascara can be very beautiful and it opens the eye, but the mascara texture is sometimes too obvious and I just think that natural lashes are more beautiful. Besides, I often put makeup on my lips and I don't really want both, it's too much. Let's move on to concealer. This one is great. Makeup artists have been using it for years on shoots. It's Clé de Peau. Here. Today, I don't have too many dark circles because I'm a little tanned. But it still brings some light. I put some on this area from time to time, when I have my period, because the same pimple comes back all the time on my cheek. This is the blush and highlight step. This is the new Les Filles en Rouje palette and it's the first complexion product I'm using today. I like to do it with my finger because I find it more instinctive and easier. I'm putting it on here. You have to be careful because if you do it in your bathroom and there's not enough light and you can't really see, when you go outside afterwards, you might look a bit like a disco ball. You have to be careful with shimmer. Then let's move on to the blushes. I like to mix this pink, kind of an old rose, and this peach color. I mix the peach and the pink. I'm applying it at the top of the cheek, and then I blend it out. It's super easy to use, it's very fluid. I always put some lip liner on for the contour, even before putting on lipstick. I don't necessarily apply it outside the lips, it's right on the edge, but it's usually a bit lighter. This is the Les Filles en Rouje balm. Even though it looks like a lipstick, it's a balm, it has slight coverage. And I love this color, it's really the perfect everyday color. It's got avocado oil in it and lots of good ingredients. I try to always moisturize my lips at first, that's why I like to put on lip masks during the day because there's nothing worse than putting on lipstick and having your lips all cracked and peeling. My last tip: I'm going to do this technique on my own for the first time to make tiny freckles with an eyebrow marker. My makeup artist usually does it for shoots. On the nose, like this. And yes, the technique is to immediately blend. She does it much faster, it's over in two seconds. It's really subtle, but it's intended to be subtle. You don't want to put too much on and have it look like a tattoo. The idea is to enhance those little natural freckles. I'm not a big powder person, but this one from Guerlain, the classic Terracotta, has a bit of glitter in it as well. In the summer, I like to put a bit on my cleavage. Not too much because I've already put on quite a few layers, and this is where I apply it to really define the jawline. There you go, makeup done! Now I'm putting on small hoop earrings. These are from my sister's jewelry collection. I wear them every day. When you get used to wearing earrings, it's a bit like lipstick, it's hard to see yourself without them. And now I'm going to show you how I do my hair. It's a little bit shorter than usual. I guess that when people cut their hair, it tends to be curlier, but my hair is as straight as a stick. So, I do this. To ruffle the hair and to keep it from being all straight or fluffy. Once, in Paris, it started to rain like cats and dogs, or maybe it was just a little rain, I don't remember, but I was going home and I think I missed my bus and so I walked home in the rain. I was like whatever And when I got home, my hair was wavy and perfect, so I realized I had to wet my hair to get that wavy effect. And every once in a while, to keep it a bit curly, I use Algues et Fleurs by Leonor Greyl, which is great because it's not like the usual sea spray products that give my hair a rough feel, which I don't like at all. This one is super soft. So, I'm putting it on and I'll do it a bit like that. Thank you so much, Vogue. That was my five-minute beauty routine for a natural look. I hope you enjoyed it. And most importantly, don't forget to subscribe to the YouTube channel. Love you!
