remember the GMA Hall of Fame equally adept at tickling your funny bone and touching your heart mark Lowry is this not been an incredible night so far I have felt the presence of the Lord here have you it's been amazing in 1969 was the very first Dove Awards and I was there I was 11 years old my parents took me to the Dove Awards in Memphis Tennessee at the Piedmont hotel and now 49 years later I'm 60 years old yes I'm 60 this is my year to turn 16 yes I remember when I was young up there in the bleachers watching every wishing I could be striper I remember that and now I am you know you're getting old though I tell you how you know you're getting old when you're a little 11 year old niece looks at you and says you look like that old man in the up movie [Applause] listen how many of you were not alive in 1969 let me hear you how many of you were Wow that's about half goodnight 1969 Bill Gaither couldn't be here tonight he we left him at the home but he's still around in fact we're celebrating this year this into this week a Gaither Vocal Band reunion I'm and that is gonna be a blast and I'll be there to make fun of his hair you know that first wig he had was made out of cat hair you know that every time he scratched his head his rear went up it was awful and then would you welcome my good friends that never seemed to age Jason Crabb and Rascal Flatts [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] the cast a drone [Music] [Music] yes sure [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] you chose to be my friend [Music] [Music]
