discovered you music thanks to the little video you made some years ago in Berlin the rooftop weekend oh yeah and what is really amazing we feel is that you were a bit visionary about the circle concept because you did before us and so yeah it's a video that that you made on a rooftop that now I think it's more than 10 million views you did it for like like a promo tool right I I just did it to record this at that time in 2011 or 12 or something it was not common that you play electronic music was banned in the clubs and I just did the video because I wanted to show the promoter that it's possible yeah because they have new evident technique and there was a time in the apc40 came out and and so I wanted to show them with the APC Ableton and with some live pets for the drums that could work and then Kristin my drama put it online and suddenly a core like good Bible I don't know I don't know how this works how this works I would do it every day but the sitting is beautiful as well of course your band and the music was amazing but with the setting it makes it like it's like here man are you happy to have played here what did you what did you feel did you prepare it in some way different than usual I mean it's totally different if you if you record a set it's always different because when I'm gonna play in a club I play all the new tracks and like testing important ating and stopping them when stuff is released when the set was released online unfortunately cannot play unreleased tracks up obviously so it's I had to go back to some all the tracks and had to learn it a bit and I honestly most of it most texts and all durricks I just read in the airplane when I came here and yeah it was fun to play some more tracks and I'm coming to to play this set for you guys actually yeah you're right but um I had the idea and when I saw you guys starting the circuit project I was I was like wow I should have I should do that too and I'm pretty happy that you guys asked me did just read all the questions so questions from Laura Laura what are your biggest inspiration for music experience of life travels people what are your biggest inspiration for people people definitely I like I like to I mean I travel a lot and I like to sit in airports and stuff and when it's kind of boring I love to watch people and like make like my own studies about like how people behave and in different situations and I like that of course traveling you inspires you a lot and sometimes it's just a melody from a totally different genre which just gives me an idea like wow I could do an electronic track about this and then on the end in studio at first sometimes I cannot do it because it's not my idea but in the end it develops so much that it's completed that sounds so different so that's I think what we call inspiration and I think it's it's always important to get first to get quietness to let your mind absorb ideas and second to be open-minded to just get everything into you and I think we artists we are just kind of media who absorbs the idea but the idea is already there I think everybody could have the idea to make a track but maybe artists are like a bit more sensitive to to do it in the end I am and before this interview before this show we spoke about a bit about Burning Man you told me it was really important for you and it was really something and III feel that this year was really pretty special can you all you know I felt this year was amazing I mean everybody says that it was one of the best burns and I don't know why the wife was good every DJ played the perfect setlist it was like for me was like a wish list I went to every camp and whenever I came to the camp so DJ's played like exactly my taste of music so for me was pretty special I mean there's so much nice music out right now I think it's really a good year for releases and yeah this was like I think when the music is good and the place like this then you cannot do anything wrong you don't even have to drink alcohol because it's like it's nice from the beginning like today yeah yeah and and what you're speaking about release is what about is there what about you is there an album in the cooking always it's always cooking and I promised myself not to talk about it too often too much because then the people have expectations and then I get pressure and I cannot work on pressure part I can tell you this coming um I was working on now we try to release the end of 20 2020 but I don't want to give any certain date here and it's fun I'm take a break now after after a hundred showers sonot live shows in ten months this year I'm doing four months break now and after a show in New York and I've shown you a gig in you know October I'm gonna go on a tour and the last kick will be in st.
