♪Stay with me ♪ (riffing) ♪ Cause you are all I need ♪ (riffing and huming) Hey my name is Jake Collie, how's it going? I'm here at Seventeen and I'm here to play the lyric challenge (pop music transition) I'm anticipating a forty seven percent accuracy rate. What are some of my favorite songs from the last twenty years or so? Um, well starting in 2000 there's a song called 'I Feel Like Making Love', which D'Angelo did on his album 'Voodoo'. That's one of my favorite songs. Jumping forward a couple years, uh, Nora Jones, 2004ish, I think, I don't know why, It's like one of my all time favorite songs, which is by Nora Jones. I guess around that time Coldplay was coming up. 'Fix You', 'Fix You', uh it's brilliant, it's a wonderful wonderful song. I have one thing to say before we jump right into it, and that thing is that you must not forget to subscribe to the Seventeen YouTube channel. If you forget, that'll be really bad. So make sure you don't, okay? Cool. (pop transition music) So you're a tough guy, like it really rough guy. (mumbling and mouthing) Just can't get enough guy? (ding) Puff, something about puff. Puff guy, um, mad type? I'm a mad type, I know seduce your dad type, that bit's obvious. Make you're boyfriend mad type? Is that right? Make your mama sad type. (pop transition music) ♪ I'm going to give it to you (mumbling) ♪ ♪ Strawberry ♪ Champagne, it's strawberry champagne. ♪Strawberry champagne all night ♪ And the first bit is, something disco ♪Strawberry champagne all night, lucky for you ♪ ♪ That's what I like, that's what I like ♪ (ding) (pop transition music) I must've called a thousand times to tell you I'm so for everything. ♪I'm sorry for everything ♪ Oh man, I don't know If I'm going to get this. It's on the tip of my tongue I don't think I'm going to get this. (buzzer noise) My favorite Adele song? Actually there's a really old one that goes ♪ Right under my feet is air made of bricks ♪ ♪ That pull me down ♪ And that one's like from 19 I think. That must be my favorite Adele song. I don't know, I don't know why it is, but there is something very kind of weighty, there's like a chord on every beat, and when there's a chord on every beat, I'm very motivated to keep listening, cause I like chords. And there's something about it, she sounds so young, and she sound super vulnerable. I mean that's one of the things about Adele, is that she always sounds like an open book, and it's very refreshing but, yeah. That one, I might have more luck with the lyrics, but that last one, I just (tongue click), I was blanked out. It's all good though. Yeah, that one I know, kind of, kind of. So estimated about forty seven percent of that one. I would probably say I got about forty two, so I'm quite proud of myself for um getting it close. Forty two is fine, forty two out of a hundred feels good. I once got forty two out of a hundred in a technology GCSE exam at school. So I feel like I'm, and I'm quite good at technology. So, I feel like I'm quite good at lyrics, even though I'm definitely not. That was really fun though, I loved it. So there's something you should know about, which is coming very soon. I have been working on four albums in tandem with one another, which is quite ambitious. I'm exhausted, but it's pretty fun. And, uh, it's like four different albums that are all one album with like thirty collaborators from all across the world. Every genre, um on earth and it's this great big, sort of, conglomerate of things. The first two volumes, have been released already. And the third volume is coming very soon. And then same of the quadruple album 'Djesse'. D-J-E-S-S-E So lookout for 'Djesse' volume 3, and go and enjoy 'Djesse' volume two and 'Djesse' volume one. Which are already yours to keep. 'Djesse' volume three is really really soon, like please know that and have a good day If you enjoyed what you just saw and would like to see more videos like this, then please do me a massive favor, personal favor, and subscribe to the Seventeen YouTube channel, because that'll be brilliant and you will not regret it.
