pickleball lovers were here with a spin shot we're doing the one and two-handed attack I'm gonna break down lower body and upper body procedures and pickleball lovers don't forget to have a good day never forget to have a good day and look at this one-handed attack that you will have by the end of this video Let's see it one more time it's pretty sweet so pickleball lovers let's get started right now when I'm teaching my students the two-handed attack I have them start at the kitchen and just basically roll it right I'm not pushing it Forward right it is a drive but just like Riley Newman Riley Newman I'm going more up with my left hand and then I'm gonna step back right and with that two-handed attack I'm really pivoting off my left foot but see how I'm really turn off my left foot you could feed it one more time and then I step back again there's a reason I push off my left foot and once I get back to the kitchen and you'll be doing this with the front and I'm going back up and I'm heading again just drives and once I get to the kitchen again I'm really going to be able to brush up like a Riley Newman attack opposed to really swinging this way and that's going to really help your two-handed attack this is Riley Newman top right hand corner look at him drop that handle on that two-hander right it's getting really low and this is exactly what he points out in that video he goes on further to point out right here if your paddles like that it's not good it has to be touching the ground and look at what he says first is the grip make sure the grip you're using both hands on the paddle you don't want to be stacking your hands okay you want to be right over top you want to have one finger up on the back side of the paddle and now that's actually a tree in a backhand grip you want to use more of your effort and more of the work with the top hand when you're guiding and using this shot it's actually more coming from the Top Hand of the paddle well the one-handed attack it's like a backhand roll I'm brushing up right I'm not going this way now once I get back here now once I get back here the one-handed attack is different in the sense I'm pivoting off my right foot like a tennis player like Patrick rafter and I'll show you right here boom but look at how I can really pivot off and really hit it hard and again I'll start right here I have time I can get more power going here but once I get to the kitchen and it's lower I gotta really brush up and then I step back I do it again and I get used to really either resetting or driving right I can reset quick if I have more time I can drive and that's like a Riley Newman thing and let's keep going right now before I put a paddle in my hand I want to demonstrate something on grip pressure whether it be my one or two-handed attack there's no grip pressure right before I swing this is a one-handed attack I'm pushing off my left foot you can go the other way if you have time but when you're at the kitchen right that's kind of why I like to teach it that way if you have time you can step and hit it like this like a tennis player but when you have the kitchen back to grip pressure no pressure I'm swinging and the wrist comes along naturally and I'm gripping this let's put a paddle in our hand no grip pressure face a paddle facing down risk comes over naturally right same thing two-handed attack right then I put another hand on it and I like to come off this foot now if you have more time like a tennis swing you can come here right however once you get to the kitchen we got to come off this for the two-handed attack right I'm hitting my one-handed backhand I'm stepping first with my right foot I'm right handed my dominant foot here we go boom look how much power I'm getting from that hinge right one more time here we go boom cutting almost hit the camera right there I almost lost four hundred dollars one more time hinge in and hidden it is so so smooth what about that two-handed attack I like to really drive off my left foot like Riley Newman here it is it's basically like a left-handed forehand I just hit the camera one more time but again I'm really going off that left foot and again it's a lot of left hand right now I'm driving I'm going forward I can take that out of the air too right and I can be really aggressive one time other than that I can really be aggressive with this two-handed attack and it's so sweet right here's a one-handed attack different view again I'm stepping with that right foot rotating through it it's a hinge right I'm not stepping too far this way I want to step towards the court so when I hit I'm moving forward right it's all about being ready for the next shot boom boom I hit I move forward and that's a one-hitted Attack One More Time Boom I'm falling back but it still works right a little off balance one more time set up this is a great single shot as well boom hit it move forward here's the two-handed attack from a different angle again I'm stepping forward with this foot hinging off it here we go right now I step right here I hinge off it I'm moving into the court right one more time non-dominant foot two-handed attack you saw it right here subscribe to pickleball Pirates one thing that drives me crazy on the one-handed attack is this right I'm swinging too much with my upper body it doesn't work one more time it's not working I'm not pushing off that foot right this is a process step right foot turn that shoulder then go here we go so easy so good that's all you need what do people do wrong with that two-handed attack they swing too much with this hand right it's a two-handed attack you should be getting more power here like Riley Newman not like that not like that come up more here right here right one-handed forehand here we go yeah pickleball lovers any tips on the one-handed and two-handed attack do you agree with me please leave it in comments Please Subscribe and don't forget to subscribe and don't forget to have a good day
