good afternoon my lovers now what treasures are we gonna find today are we gonna find silver are we gonna find gold oh i got some lovely pegs out let's see what i can find i reckon the landowners have been in this field doing a bit of swinging they have look there's a golf ball they've been swinging in here right let's see what's down the old i shouldn't think it's a golf ball i don't think they're made of metal still down there right oh it's a bit deeper it's definitely not the golf ball oh can't get it out all right get that out in a minute oh right yeah not there just be spade gone ah oh it's i've had a bag seal for quite a while what is it oh it might be a cloth seal yeah i think it's a cloth seal i think that other thing that thing i had the other day that was a cloth seal as well they do it like a taxation type thing on cloth so that's uh i keep i've found a few of those now look oh i'm gonna get this cleaned up and get back to you he must have been making cloth round here he must have been making cloth or something right it looks like w-o-i or maybe t top's been worn off s-t e yes an e and then r e f o on that side and on the other side it looks like it's like a maybe a half or a quarter symbol on the base so they must have been producing some sort of a textile around here some sort of cloth to be worn because that's the third one of these now i've found it'd be interesting if we could date this get a date for it sounds like gold could be gold oh it's a lovely sounding signal yeah i reckon there could be a relic down here a relic oh sounds lovely oh come on oh you pesky thing where's my thing ah that's it oh what's that there is that a coin it is it's a coin and it's extremely crusty i might have a job getting anything off this was a funny shape could be roman is a funny shape yeah i think this is going to be really crustified look how mangled is right i'm going to carefully clean this one up and we'll see if we can get anything off of it it does look a bit roman right it could be roman but i'm not feeling a bump you know where the head would be but there again it could be on this side and this side is really crusty so it could be that side but it's got a roman look about it you know really rough edges and not round at all when i try and break the edge it don't crumble like a a victorian coin would crumble around the edges and this is not stained solid look it's not breaking up so i would say that that is a 75 probability of being roman right show that one to my friends liaison officer oh i got a lovely sound in one ear sounds sweet could be silver ah give it a couple of scoops still down there still down there or across your fingers and toes it could be something really nice oh oh right there let's get you over this side right it's still got the cloth on it it's still got the cloth on it wow that is really old and because the the copper has preserved the cloth where's the other bit gone i'll find it in a minute now i think this is really old buckle let's just put the cloth down a second i think this is a really really old buckle this could be looking at the design it's a bit crusty in places that could be thirteen fourteen hundreds and it's still got the cloth intact look at that the cloth is intact is it was it colored blue did it had was it blue cloth all right let's see there contact the archaeologists about that the fines liaison officer see what he says about the cloth best way to preserve that i don't know that could be really that could start to crumble really quickly over the ground yes part of the buckle wow that is a really good find the cloth not necessarily the buckle but the cloth intact look after what six seven hundred years amazing oh i got a lovely one here could be a hammered coin oh it a rub on the magic trousers yeah it is an epic button with a very nice pattern quarter holder would dream for a button like this wouldn't you jason oh i got a nice signal down here well sort of it's a bit iffy it's a bit iffy spade oh got big rock oh oh another rock could be a wall a hidden wall just here [Music] uh i hope it's not underneath that rock i'll get back to you when i find it oh this is the last signal of the day look it's a huge rock and it hardly wants to budge what i'm going to do is come back with the gpx and i'll put the gpx over this because it could be the capping stone to an ancient burial there could be a roman soldier underneath this huge rock and it could be or it could just be a top of a wall but it thought it could be the capping stone for a horde of 50 000 roman gold coins so what i'll do is i'll come back tomorrow i won't be tomorrow in a couple of days because it's going to poor with rain and i'm going to put the gpx over this signal and we'll see what it is see if there's still a signal here because i don't want to be digging this rock out at this late stage in the day because i'm pretty tired so why'd you put it in the comments to what you
