[Music] hey folks steve here with americana prime comm and i'm here for a different reason normally we talk about politics we talk about stuff like that issues relating to politics but but I do believe that Americana covers a lot of things and let me tell you what it definitely covers it definitely covers guns oh yeah that's right guns what's more americana than guns so I figured I would do a review series on guns that I like guns that are popular you know all of those types of things as well so today what we're gonna do is we're going to talk about the fn57 the FN five-seven i fuckin love this gun and I'm gonna go through why so first off let's take a look at what we've got here all right so what we have here first of all is you get this really nice hard case right it's humongous it's bigger than most of the other guns that I have and let's crack into this thing oh yeah there it is right there folks beautiful absolutely gorgeous so let's get let's get this thing out of here and let's see what it's got all right so let's take a look at this piece here let's take a look at it there it is and all its beauty first thing you notice right when you take it out of the box this thing is light I mean it is light weight folks this thing is lighter than some guns that I have that are smaller so the second thing you notice you get three got three magazines right here 20 rounds a pop folks 20 rounds a pop and let me tell you let me get to the next thing that I absolutely love about this gun that's right here you see this that is 50 rounds right there that is 50 rounds that right there a hundred rounds in the tip of my hand one of the best things that I love about this gun is the round 5.7 right there look at the size of that thing 5.7 it is essentially what amounts to a rifle round this thing is so high velocity I can't even shoot this gun at a couple of ranges because it is so high velocity you have to use special versions of this so the round availability and the size enables you to carry tons and tons and tons of ammo right the other thing that I absolutely love about this gun because whenever you review a firearm you always want to take into account what I like to call the Apocalypse factor the Apocalypse factor and what the Apocalypse factor is is if the shit really hits the fan how would this be as a gun to have during the Apocalypse okay so there's a few things that I think give this a very very high apocalyptic rating one very light you can carry tons of ammunition tons I mean the size of this box for 50 rounds you can cart tons of these things around the other element to the rounds themselves is that let's say in a hypothetical apocalypse scenario what is likely to happen is that every gun store within a hundred miles of you is very likely to get raided right first thing that people are gonna do in an apocalypse they're gonna raid the gun store guaranteed right so which rounds are most likely to get looted last everybody's got nine mil everybody's got 40 and everybody's a lot of people got 357 you know so you have to take into account in an apocalypse scenario how available are the rounds gonna be these I think you are very very likely to still be able to find left behind because people don't have the fucking gun so they're not gonna take a bunch of rounds that they can't use so the 5.7 round advantageous in an apocalypse scenario so you got to think about this stuff folks you can't just you know make your decisions willy-nilly you know you got to have a plan so let's take a look at what else the five-seven absolutely amazing so we know it's incredibly light right oh this thing can punch holes and stuff at a very very high velocity now the other thing that I absolutely love about this gun and I'm gonna demonstrate it right now yeah take a look at this folks anything you notice no your protection now obviously this is not something that you should ever do obviously you want to protect your hearing because most guns will absolutely make you go deaf but you know what I love about this you can it isn't ever advisable but you can shoot this without ear protection so think about like a say home invasion scenario or even an apocalypse scenario whichever kind of scenario you want where you have to use this gun you will not be deaf after the first shot that's a big deal I mean if you can't hear anything because you just pulled the trigger on this then you got problems so I love the fact that it can be shot with never advisable folks never advisable we play safely okay never advisable but you physically can use this without ear protection and not go deaf big advantage so what else is an advantage okay did you notice that the other thing when I fired that gun virtually no recoil this thing has barely more recoil than a 22 okay that is so amazing for such a high-velocity firearm right so once you end up with is a gun that is so easy to keep on target I mean if you're an accurate shooter you can rattle off holes with that thing like no other because groupings one right after the other bang bang bang bang bang because it is so easy to keep on target so in a situation where you have to shoot something it is very easy to land multiple hits with this firearm so a lot of the things that I love about this gun I mean it really has holds tons of ammunition super light no recoil nut doesn't blow your eardrums out I mean it's just a phenomenal firearm I mean I have a lot of guns you know I got Kimber 1911 s I got Glocks I got 44 magnums I got multiple 357 's I've got Springfield's I've got you know I've got some guns this has got to be it is definitely I might be able to go as far as to say it's my favorite I if the shit ever hits the fan I'm not sure I would rather have any other gun on my side I mean having something like this where you can cart around massive amounts of ammo that you can use without going deaf in an emergency situation because you never want to do that and it holds so many rounds and has no recoil there are so many phenomenal attributes to this gun it is so easy to break apart and clean you know so this gun I would rate it I would write if I was gonna give a rating to this gun I would say I'm gonna go with 9 out of 10 9 out of 10 and the only reason I don't give it the 10 out of the 10 the other argument you could make against this gun as it does have a fairly decent sized body to it it does have a decent sized body to it I'm gonna tell you right now if anyone from FN ever watches this fucking video you make a more compact version of this and I will buy it instantly dawn it's a wrap I will buy this thing instantly you make this in a in a compact size who instantly I'll buy it so that's that part of the review now of course you got to see it shoot you know you got to see it punch some holes and stuff so that's what we're gonna do next all right folks here we go let's check this thing out and see what happens ooh 20 rounds of freedom baby alright
