Is Gili T Worth Visiting? Island Life On Gili Trawangan, Lombok

I'm so excited to see what else is in store it's going to be so good it's going to be so [Music] good we have made it to Gilly te we're so excited to be here we love the island life and we're going to be exploring and showing you some of the amazing things that you can do here we're also going to figure out is ghilly tea worth it should you add it to your holiday bucket list while we're here it's actually Danielle's birthday so we're going to celebrate it Island style oh yeah let's go it is so beautiful in here oh this water is amazing I love it being by the beach is a Vibe oh the ocean's the one the beach in Ghillie is so beautiful as well wow yeah this is what was needed this is what was needed for sure this is going to be [Music] good [Music] it's time for me to go [Music] in can see loads of fish already there's carrot fish and then a stripey fish I can't remember what that one's called but it's so clear it's really C isn't it being in the ocean is just so beautiful hi hi this is such a good trap yeah this is what I [Music] needed [Music] we're here we have just made it onto Gil menow we've never been to this island before but it is so Beau beautiful it's all just Beach nature beautiful restaurant so I think we're also going to have some lunch here too so good good coconut bers bers CAA everyone's just enjoying a nice bit of lunch had a cold coconut which was amazing after that snorkel definitely worked up a bit of an appetite swimming around but we've had such a good day so far this has been an amazing trip and I think might be wrong but I think there might still be one more snal spot still to go if not it's still been so [Music] [Applause] [Music] sick we're up bright and early today for a very special day on Gilly te it's Danielle's birthday yay happy birthday thank you and we're starting off the day with an incredible Sunrise paddle board session are you excited I'm very excited I just woke up this morning super early Matt was like wake up wake up I was like it's so early what's going on but the P boarding session sounds literally such a good way to start my day we're really excited there's a bunch of other surprises planned for the rest of the day so we'll unveil them as the day goes on but we're going to have the best day on Gilly T wow wow beautiful it looks so beautiful it's started to come [Music] up so [Music] Beau if you haven't noticed Matt is really bad at balancing look at him are you okay over there come on he fell again I feel like standing up on a P Board is not one of Matt strong suits come on how beautiful is this Sunrise Cale wow what I wait to start my birthday and guess who just fell off oh my God this is the best way to start my birthday puddle boarding beautiful ocean the water is so clear you can literally see turtles coming up for air which is amazing and the sunrise is it's going to be magic because it just looks beautiful over there yeah let's take a look shall we yeah hi how good is [Music] that sometimes I do this in moments where I'm just so happy and so in awe of everything that's around me I will start crying just because I appreciate where I am so much and how beautiful the location is and with the person I love makes me look at you in the background what a way to start my day I'm so excited to see what else is install it's going to be so good it's going to be so good what a beautiful morning so far this is honestly the best way to start my birthday now we're having coffees walking along the beach before Matt's surprise I'm excited for this one very excited what a good day yeah cannot be island birthdays you really can't this is this not much better it doesn't get much better time for the birthday surprise very excited because if we are where I think we are I'm so excited for this we haven't done this in over a year so we do have to do a refresher yeah but we're going to dive in we going di in guaranteed we're going to see loads loads of turtles and just have the best time I'm really hoping we can see some sharks here as well that'll be amaz there is a there is a place you can see some so let's [Music] [Music] go [Music] [Music] out [Music] wow what an experience that was it was so cool seeing the turtles all the amazing fish and my actual dream is a octopus and we saw one yeah it I didn't see the octopus but I have seen them before I'm just glad that you got to see it on your birthday I just didn't want to leave it it was so cool that was a really great dive we haven't done it in a while so it's a bit of a refresher dive for us and definitely made us realize that we need to do this more yes it was 100% worth it and the best way to spend my birthday after such an amazing dive we are now going to head out on the bikes from the hotel we're going to discover some more of Gil and go to the perfect Sunset spot cannot wait let's go for a bike ride let's go s by jump [Music] ly it's so beautiful you can see lombo from Gil and it's so pretty oh it's so nice wow check this out switch hands [Music] yeah as you can see we're now at the Port we finished our time in Gilly how was it it was amazing the dive I think in particular was so good and the snoring it was we loved our time on Gilly I expected it to be way busier yeah it's got a reputation as a party island and yeah I expect it to be a little bit chaotic obviously the pier is obviously going to be more chaotic yeah there's people coming and going and that's the busiest part of the island I guess and you can definitely party away on here there's of that but you can do so many other things and really live that laidback Island lifestyle that we love so much so yes definitely add ghilly te to your Indonesian bucket list we loved it and had the best time [Music] yes
