cappadocia the kind of place we've all seen in our instagram feeds the kind of place where you woke up like this the kind of place where you can literally live inside a cave and the kind of place where you can take to the sky with a giant flammable balloon it's the kind of place where i don't even know now the question you're probably wondering is is cappadocia worth all the hype [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] good morning guys and welcome to instagram famous cappadocia where photographers are abundant the likes are plentiful and the views are exceptional today i'm going to be sharing with you guys if cappadocia lives up to all the hype whether it's really one of those spots that you need to visit already off to a great start [Music] i originally was not going to get up but i am so glad that i did what an epic sunrise i have to say the start of the trip has already been phenomenal and now we have a full breakfast here overlooking the entire cappadocia area nice phelouses everywhere i look that's a good morning if i ever saw one brett yeah man doesn't get much better than that no those are the hot air balloons that couldn't figure out how to get down they're probably freaking out right now i'm a little ashamed to admit instagram brought me here carpet world and in we go into a whole new world fantastic oh my lord we're now going through a carpet cave look at how many carpets are in here what the ooh this is the spooky carpet room this is so cool uh hi is that uh is that sam a wild sam emerges from the carpets do you need help i don't even know where i'm at right now okay guys wait for it here comes the drop welcome to the great carpet emporium of cappadocia everybody knows this place as an instagram photo but what i want to show you guys is there's so much more to it than that this is saliman and this business has been in his family for flying carpet flying carpets this is such a piece of history right here because you were telling me that camels used to come from china to pick up spices carpets perfumes all sorts of other trade and bring them back around the world so this is an original outpost of the silk road if you guys want to come check it out if you want to see some beautiful rugs maybe pick one up or just come take a photo it's gallery ickman and say hi to solomon uh hey guys um ruby i didn't know you're going to be right there are you recording compliments to the bartender dude cappadocia is one of those places where you do not want to miss a single sunrise so we came up for a quick single cocktail here at dusk on top of koza and it's time to go to bed i'll see you guys tomorrow hello everybody let's go i'm so excited we're going up in a hot air balloon this is truly one of the most beautiful sunrises sites you could ever ask for i have such a hard time with this stuff oh man hello captain let's go one of my bucket list dreams is coming true at this very moment and i have no words this is incredible cheers to an incredible morning the sun is hitting this so beautifully and the penises look so small from here look size doesn't matter size doesn't matter though don't listen to her how high are we right now almost 400 we are descending now we are descending about 2 meters per second [Music] how are you feeling though a lot better look the ground's right there this is fine this is right everything is fine it's a wonderful experience how are you feeling uh my dreams are coming true and i'm developing a drinking problem by breakfast damn he's slotting it right through this guy's like fpv droning his hot air balloon no way i've never seen that happen before we've just slotted onto the trailer one of the best sunrises of my life can you see the top release the air here she comes that was incredible i couldn't have asked for a better morning thank you murat thank you guys if you guys want the best hot air balloon company turqas no question about it you guys are so amazing take care [Music] a quick overview of cappadocia's early start goes back to the early escape of the christians under roman persecution in the first century a lot of them came to hide and live inside of these caves and right behind me here is where a christian family could be found living bottom floor being for storage second floor being used for eating third floor was a church and all the way up to the seventh floor and those were mostly used for accommodations now with that said guys i will be doing a full video on kind of the backstory to cappadocia because there's a lot of cool history here that i really get excited about that i really want to share and i think it deserves a separate video what i will say is if you want to get the full experience though the open air museum here in cappadocia only 10 minutes outside of the main town is the place to come [Applause] so this right here is one of the best preserved of these homes inside of the rocks this is such a tiny entrance oh my gosh i can barely fit in here guys this would have been a kitchen back in the day and that right there is an oven on the ground and again this goes back to the 14th century now if you've watched my channel long enough you'll know that i love finding unique accommodations places that tell a story that allow me to experience something new and living inside of a rock has been no exception now this isn't just a rock one of the owners sam was telling me that this is actually originally a home that dates back to about 500 years that right there is a ancient roman graveyard right at my back doorstep i want to show you how i've been staying here in cappadocia and one of the things that's made this place truly unique coming into my cavern here welcome to koza cave and this is my room down here we've got the living area in there we've got an epic bathroom and right up these stairs here this is my bed right out here is where the hot air balloons rise in the morning and this is actually a very special suite here just push this door open and i've got my own private balcony this is visually one of my favorite places on planet earth i've never seen anything like it and definitely this is a place that's living up to the hype in every single way [Music] right now we are at a traditional restaurant here in gorham center and we have all sorts of local foods here nice oh so this right here is some deliciously prepared beef all done turkish style right here the one that i'm super excited to try is monty and monty is actually yogurt with a traditional style ravioli this ravioli way better than i thought it was gonna be this is the chicken with vegetables and rice and this looks pretty darn good but how does it taste oh pretty darn hot let's say a solid eight nine it's an 8.4 i'm with you on that yeah eight point four eight point four those are tough critics baklava 12. my only thing with the turkish food is it's very greasy and i do feel it's very tough to eat it every day it's hearty a lot of carbs yeah a lot of bread and cheese and sauces but really good fs 10 out of 10 though if you guys come here you got to try this beer right here fs look at the size of street dogs in turkey can i touch you yeah oh it's so big there's actually a reason they were originally sheep herding dogs and so they were used to like fight off wolves and now they just chill here on the road look at his face this one's getting so jealous all right i'll see you later bruce see you terry i'm a little bit excited guys something i have to show you we made it just in time i give you the phallus valley it's so beautiful these are the kind of places that remind me that you're never really alone one hour later yo brett we gotta go dude come on man it's been an hour you just wanted a shot of me sitting here it's been an hour dude i hate you i hope you're satisfied let's go very satisfied cappadocia it literally means land of beautiful horses and this one right here is my horse for today i have never really had a real horse experience so this is the first name wow this is burkier he's a local photographer here and an amazing one at that and today we're going off on an excursion with these beautiful creatures if you look back in history horses have actually been kind of like the backbone of the economy here in cappadocia but before i get into that let's get going are you kidding me just thrown into it they're like yep you're sitting on the horse you're now trained to ride the horse i'm not gonna lie i'm not big on safety briefings so this is sick here we go sitting on a four-legged insanely beautiful but dangerously powerful creature and i couldn't be happier about it this is beautiful goodbye guys i'm going my own way we need a quick pit stop here i guess i'm in control we're coming down a hill this is wild please don't slip please don't slip i feel like i've just passed my beginner's course and i'm now an intermediate tensing my core i'm moving with the horse i'm inhaling dust back in the day cappadocia was actually famous for its horses it's one of the reasons traders from all over the world would come here and it's actually one of the ways the persians were able to make quite a bit of money in this area by trading with the romans these prime horses were the strongest the fastest the most agile and so they were used for things like horse racing which was very popular in the roman coliseum they were used also for war and today they're used for people like myself they're used for instagrammers i have not had any real horse experiences like this before and i absolutely love it but to be able to experience it here in cappadocia couldn't ask for a better experience this reminds me of my favorite scene of brokeback mountain just me and brett sunset a couple of horses get better than this pretty romantic this is one of the coolest places i think you could possibly ride a horse i feel like we're back in time doing it like how they used to do the only thing that would make this experience better is if we could get one of these horses on the hot air balloon and catch sunrise so stay tuned for the next kappa doki video [Music] now guys be warned i'm wearing all white the only times i wear all white are when i'm invited to tea time with the queen and when some serious content is about to go down wow oh my gosh it's pink yeah it's real pink shoes are coming off like the massage like a massage yes yeah because wow the salt is so thick it's layered here it's actually a little sharp but uh dig in it's also pink wow this is incredible brick here perfect brookie is literally drifting this volkswagen over there oh god [Music] so horse coming yes coming [Music] [Applause] [Music] back [Music] oh my gosh oh i see why you're going fast would recommend getting a 4x4 vehicle if you're going to come out here sunlight is a waste and we're going to leave the car here because it's not going to make it up the rest this is actually impossible bakira's tip to everybody coming to cappadocia don't meet bakir he's crazy but if you don't mind a crazy dude that takes amazing photos then do meet bakir he's so so talented and welcome to the highest point of cappadocia an incredible place to hike up or if you know some crazy people four by four now the hot air balloons do not fly for sunset but you can still catch some of your most epic sunsets ever up here is one of the best spots great thing about it too is you probably get an extra 15 or 20 minutes of sunlight over gourmet down in the valley [Music] hands down the biggest blessing of my life is to be able to be here right now and call this my job to be able to make a fantastic living by exploring ruins by visiting tropical destinations or really anywhere i think my camera can tell a good story and if you're like me a storyteller that loves to share photos and videos to be able to take people on a journey from your favorite destinations to your favorite recipes in your cookbook then i want to teach you how you can elevate your business to the next level i want to mentor you to give you both the business and the creative side of being a content creator over the past six years i've made a lot of mistakes but i've also had a lot of successes through all this and i want to help you skip the learning curve just as i have for over 1 000 members who are currently in the lost creator academy we've had members with less than a thousand followers getting five-star hotel collaborations we've had members land and close five-figure deals and that right there is just a fraction of the success stories we see happening on a daily basis i want to teach you everything that i know so that you can do what i do and do it even better if you're ready to get started then check out my free one hour training it will be the best 60 minutes that you've ever invested in yourself and i will see you in there and so we made it to the top of the hill a campfire was made for us and now we have wine to celebrate not dying on horses i'm worried ruby's not going to make it back down thought i would ease the tension a little bit how was that that was incredible it was definitely one of the most unique travel experiences i've ever had especially when the walls of the canyon kept rising around us as we were trotting through i've never done anything like that there's a few moments that are very magical in your life and i think that today was definitely one of those moments the people the environment the surroundings that was one of the best experiences i've ever had traveling so tell me are you planning to ride down with those yeah i don't know what the dui regulations are here if hui horsing under the influence i'm on my fourth glass cheers cheers [Music] so naturally the question remains is cappadocia worth the hype and my answer is that this is an underrated destination people only think of it as the two or three instagram photos we see everywhere but there's so much more to it from the landscapes to the people the businesses and honestly one business that has really made all the difference has been this one right here this is a face that has made it one of the best trips we've ever had sam has really shown us an amazing time if you guys want to experience one of the best ways to see cappadocia it's right here and this friendly face will be here to greet you hi thank you very much man you really made this unforgettable you're welcome appreciate you everything and guys that's where i'll end today's video if you enjoyed it smash that subscribe button hit that like button or destroy it up to you and let's get lost again in the next one
