Is Cabana Bay Universal Orlando’s best hotel?!

we're stepping back in time to Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort and we have a challenge we're about to do the wackiest things that this Resort has to offer but you're going to want to stay tuned to the end because we're saving the best for last we're sharing the bill with you how much does this actually cost but something doesn't feel right if we're stepping back in time I feel like we need a change of attire that's much better all right now let's go first up Bay liner Diner they say you can't time travel on an empty stomach right let's hope the pancakes are as fluffy as the pillows let's go check it out we got the pancakes they look pretty fluffy let's give them a try all right texture is good they're pretty soft not the best pancakes I've had in the world but looking for a quick breakfast can't go wrong for 11 bucks it's a good deal next up you can take a nice relaxing float in the Lazy River or the two awesome pools that they have here at Cabana Bay or not doing that cuz it's like 55° and I'm freezing my butt off midday means it's time to strike at Galaxy Bowl who knew you could do some bowling with the side of nostalgia watch me go for a strike or end up in the gutter no spoilers let's go do [Music] this guys The Vibes in here are immense we're into our bowling set we're having fun fun it's like retro night all over again this whole h t is retro night I've already been asked about my shirt once they thought I wor here likely to happen we got some adult bevies while we bowl cuz that's really going to help our score you know all right so I have a nuclear fusion which is a uh Deep Eddy lemon vodka watermelon uh leor mango puree Sprite grenadine and normally pap but they're out of Pop Rocks so oh perfect perfect sweet and sour blend and food we're having a good time it's a great time next we got the Tex that our room is ready so we headed to see our retro theme rooms I mean look at the Vibes in this room absolutely beautiful and the space the amenities you get in this room you have plenty of space to walk around and The View with these four ceiling Windows you have an amazing view and if you look closely you can see the parks how we left our luggage in the car do you have the keys no what I yeah they're gone I think I think the keys are in the luggage well that's not a good start to this vacation anyway we're not going to worry about that right now what we are going to worry about is a scavenger hunt and what amberlin means there is the more you look the more you will see take for instance all these retro cars at the front of the hotel they may seem Just Like Old rust buckets that are out of place but actually their old replicas from old movies how amazing is that and the more you look around this hotel you will find details like that all touching back to the 1950s Beach [Music] teaming we are just getting started this evening's not over yet and don't forget we have a price reveal at the end how much does all this fun cost we're going to find out all right as the sun sets we're hitting up the pool bar Hiway Bar and Grill in fact if this one's not enough there's one on the other side too guys it is supposed to be the 50s and 60s here so just think of it as like a pool party with your grandparents but way cooler emlin yeah can you guess what that guy said to me when I got those drinks nice shirt yeah hey mocktail time yes feature to it it's SC try it okay oh that's a perfect tropical little drink ooh o there's a citrus aftertaste it like hits you after it's very fruit Fruity Fruity Fruity cuz it's orange juice and grenadine and raspberry puree for sure that's literally makes sense and there's a cherry in here too a Marino Cherry amberlin wasn't feeling the alcohol tonight I on the other hand got it it's been real quick tip do not go by the menu that's on the Cabana Bay website because apparently this drink came off the menu a year ago the bartender nicely still made the concoction that's supposed to be it's been real let's see if it's good not bad a little weak on the VOD cup the awesome part is is for $16 you get this souvenir mug which is a really nice the hard plasted mug and then every time you go back the refills are only $12 so that's that's an awesome deal all right amberin is feeling a little bit peckish so she got the Honolulu dog which is pineapple bacon sausage pasture fruit mustard and a lemon garlic [Music] sauce oh that's good she has no words there there are no words oh this hits the spot the sauce is um very garlicky very good I know I know I like it all right we're going to wrap up the pool area by doing something amazing watching a movie by the pool if only drive-ins were this comfortable if you don't feel like leaving your room you could always just order pizza yeah they have that here yeah yeah we did it and I think I hear them thank you just like that we have pizza let's be real this is not the best pizza you're ever going to have but it's fresh it comes right to your room they have a variety of toppings it's really nice so at the end of a Long Park day when you've had enough of people what do you feel like having amberlin a shake a shake a Shake it's an oldfashioned malt shake from The Malt Shop shop a shop B kabana but ooh there's like chunks of chocolate in there and the banana flavor is very strong oh that's [Applause] good well my IBS has happily been triggered shakes aside we have had the most amazing babana Bay day try saying that three times fast but now the moment you're readying for drum roll please and Berlin I can't do a drum roll the price on this Resort I want to know if you've been guessing this whole time the price on this Resort you can stay here for the low starting price of $145 a night that compared to we'll say other places is an absolute steal there's no other prize Point going to be at a theme park of this category of Resort where you're going to have a boyling alley a sit down restaurant multiple options for food two pool bars and a milkshake shop like unbelievable unbeatable Cabana Bay has their heart forever and the fact that you can walk to volcano Bay we didn't even talk about that today it's a whole separate video honestly guys Cabana Bay is not just a hotel it's not just a resort it's not just a destination it is a time travel experience you will feel transported into the 1950s and 1960s and how it felt to walk in a beach resort of that era in Florida it's absolutely amazing we loved every second of our stay here if you like this video hit the like button subscribe
