Is Bath & Body Works Making Sol De Janeiro Dupes?? Upcoming Scents + Summer SAS News!

hey guys welcome back we are going to be going over some Bath & Body Works sneak peek today we have new summer launches coming up in the next couple of weeks and we have some semiannual sale information so lots to go over we're just going to be talking about the new scents today I do not have them but just getting excited and seeing what's to come for bath and borks in the next couple of months as always I get a lot of my Bath & Body Works preview info from Life inside the page her blog I will have that linked down below if you guys want to go check it out highly recommend bookmarking it cuz she posts quite a bit on there and has like all the sneak peeks and information which has usually always come out to be true besides a couple of things but for the most part these are usually pretty accurate so let's go ahead and get started so we're going to start with the summer arrivals cuz these are coming very soon I've heard a couple dates but it seems like May 13 around there seems to be kind of the collective date when this stuff will be available in stores so it's coming up really fast sometimes stores put stuff out early but May 13 seems to be when most of the stuff will be arriving but there is going to be this new summerglow body care collection now you guys know I am more of a body care girly these days I do get excited for some candles but mostly the body care is what I like to cover here and it looks like this collection is going to be possible soday Janeiro dupes now bath and body work had a lot of success with their uh everyday luxuries collection which seemed to be basically dupes for high-end perfumes so I kind of think that's what they're going for with this new line based on the packaging and the scent notes so the first scent we have is called pink paradise and this one is their dragon fruit and hibiscus scent which has notes of dragon fruit wild hibiscus and blush Moss which has like a pink packaging and this from Sal also has a pink packaging with notes of Brazilian Jasmine and pink dragon fruit also on the back it adds that it has Ocean Air and A Touch of Sun musk so seems like maybe they're kind of going for this Vibe which if you guys are familiar with the soero 68 this is really similar to bakura Rouge 540 or i on Grande's Cloud it's kind of that but like kind of a creamier almost floral version it's not exactly the same now this is coming in a bunch of different forms including body wash fragrance Mist body butter a diamond Shimmer Mist a body scrub a new shimmer body oil which I have not seen from them yet but I think this could definitely be a hit and a travel size fine fragrance Mist so I'm wondering if there going to be dupes I did ask some of you guys on my stories and a few of you guys said they are dupes a few of you guys said they're close but not exact and a couple people said they're completely different so I really do not know what to expect with this line it's definitely one that I want to test out from myself now the next one in that same line is called vacation Vibe whipped pistachio and Amber so if we have some guesses what do we think this one might be a dupe of the notes include whipped pistachio sunun Jasmine and prle Amber which I'm definitely excited about cuz I love a good pistachio fragrance and I feel like they've been kind of teasing that a lot this year and I'm wondering how close it'll be to the sold janiro 62 the pistachio and salted caramel with also some notes of heliotrope almond Jasmine petals vanilla salted caramel and Sandalwood so I'm very curious to test those out and see how similar that they will be but this is definitely on my radar to pick up I am so excited about the summer collection which I feel like usually I don't know I haven't been as excited lately with the new launches besides their everyday luxuries line that has like sold out everywhere I will say though I am getting a little tired of the Soul asan hero dupes right now just because I feel like this year everyone decided to make a dupe of this scent Victoria Secret did um also finery so I'm just kind of over it and I want something new but I do understand because soé Janeiro is actually the number one selling brand at Sephora over everything which is nuts but people really do go crazy for these scents now there is one more in the collection that is called radiant coconut and vanilla the notes include radiant coconut sunlet tubos and bronze Tonka and I was trying to think what it would be kind of similar to like is it supposed to be duping the Rio Radiance from solidation Jero this is very much a suncreen sent to me let's go ahead and look up the notes cuz they're not listed on the body butter Rio Radiance has solar tuberose Le de coco and creamy vanilla so that actually does sound really similar to this Bath & Body Works one with the coconut and the TU Bros notes this is definitely I think going to be similar and the just the colors of the packaging that they chose it's very obvious what they're trying to go for here Ria Radiance isn't my fave that's why I don't even have a mist of it I feel like I should pick one up though just to have like a full collection but this is very much it smells like sunscreen to me they just came out with actually a body care with this scent like a whole sunscreen line which totally makes a sense but I do get a little coconut not much vanilla it's not like a sweet tropical scent to me it it really just smells like a high-end like sunscreen a floral sunscreen so very very curious to get my hands on this new Bath & Body Works collection let me know if you guys have tried any of it yet I don't know if I'll be able to get anything early I feel like they're being very strict about that these days now another new body care collection that is going to be launching for this summer they're actually doing fresh ufy lemon in body care now you guys might be familiar with the candle they're supposed to smell the exact same I wish I had the candle here to compare but yes they are coming out with a full line in the fresh emal lemon which I think is going to be really fun now this isn't like my favorite scent I'm a gourmont girl I prefer like the lemon pound cake from them but this is kind of another different take that I think a lot of people who like those more kind of fresh scents are going to enjoy the packaging on this I think is beautiful especially in the Mist this is stunning the notes on this one read lemon leaves chilled spearmint and Cedar Wood Citrus so exact same notes as on the candle I always remember this candle smelling just like very very strong lemon almost like a cleaner lemon so I'm a little bit nervous to try this one but we'll have to see it's been a while since I've smelled the candle so I could totally be wrong and maybe I'm thinking of like kitchen lemon or something like that this will definitely be one I'll probably end up picking a Mist in we'll see if I get any other forms but I just know this isn't going to be like a love for me but I do like that they're coming out with something a little new and different now we do have one of our old faves coming back I feel like it's not summer without firecracker pop they always have to come out with this cuz I don't know what we would do without this one I love firecracker pop this just really does remind me of 4th of July summertime at the lake at the river eating like a bum pop popsicle that is what this is it has notes of red cherries fresh Citrus and juicy Berry literally smells like a Bomb Pop you get the Cherry the lime and the berry the red white and blue it is so good it's not like a sickening Cherry it doesn't smell like medicine it's really nice so fresh and juicy for summertime so I am really excited to see this one coming back for summertime I know so many people love this one another scent that will be coming back is for their pride collection they always do for pride month in June um this is a releasing it says on the 13th so with everything else and this is the love always wins scent from them I know some people really love this one it's not for me I don't really love the scent but I do like that they made it more of a unisex scent so pretty much anyone could wear this one but you know me I prefer my sweet smells this one has notes of vibrant Citrus and Sage The Packaging looks really similar to the last one but slightly different it has these little like rainbow confetti looking things on it um and it does come in like a full range from minis to Shimmer Mist hand cream fine fragrance Mist Shimmer Fizz body lotion Diamond Shimmer Mist like all of the above it comes in literally everything so I know they always make like a big display of this for summer and that one is returning again now something else I was excited to see is they're doing a little banana collection but unfortunately not in body care but they're doing a full banana lip care which I love banana scents so I am pretty excited about this one of my subscribers actually sent me a picture with some of the stuff that they had in store already but there's going to be a banana Bonanza lip mask as well as a lip scrub a lip gloss and a lip balm so I'm very excited to see this I would have loved to see a banana body care line along with this I feel like that would have been the perfect thing to do I don't know why bath and bio refuses to do banana body care but I am definitely looking forward to this lip collection I can definitely see myself picking up a lip balm and maybe the lip mask to try I do like the bath and BX lip balms I feel like they do have a really nice formula The Masks are a little bit thin I do prefer something thicker like the N Fenty stuff like that but they do make some really pretty lip products the lip glosses are usually pretty good as well so that's kind of the summer body care now I did actually go in store yesterday and I did see a preview of their summer candles and I believe they have a candle sale this weekend so if you were wanting anything new they should be having these out it looks like the website has loaded them up already too so you guys can look at this I'll probably throw in a little scroll so you guys could see everything but summer Boardwalk is back this one's a must have I'll link a few of my favorites and must haves from this collection a lot of these are repeat scents but there is a few new ones but um I can actually use bath and& borks affiliate links now which is really exciting cuz I've never been able to like make commission on any products I talk about before so I'm pretty pumped about it so definitely check my description box for links to anything um they have a new sweet tea and lemonade candle that I did smell in stores which was pretty nice the Under the Sun candle was so good if you want kind of that sitting pool side tropical kind of sunscreen smell but it had like so much banana in it I thought it was beautiful and it smelled different than what I have tried before so I really like the Under the Sun candle and I definitely think I'm going to be placing a pick of order today cuz the $12.95 price that's going on right now is really really good for these of course if you do hold out till semiannual sale they'll be like $10.95 but I would just you know grab them now if you have some coupons to use I did smell the raspberry Ros as well it's a little bit tart for me I did like the bronze Sunset um the Palos Santo and vanilla was really nice as well if you like more of like a upscale vanilla like a woody vanilla it was really really pretty Main Street Bakery is and oldie but that's been my favorite candle of the year if you guys like banana scents it smells like a banana bread pudding dessert it is incredibly good the Breer T collections are also part of the sale I so excited for season 3 I've been rewatching um season seasons one and two and then I'm going to rewatch Queen Charlotte as well it's one of my favorite shows and I cannot wait for it to be back so you can definitely get a pretty good deal on those cuz they are really expensive candles so that was just a few that I did see in stores the other day and you can definitely snag them for a great price right now also when I was in store yesterday I saw their new candle collection for the Asian-American and Pacific Islander heritage month and um I did smell a little bit of everything there's like four or five candles in the line my favorite was definitely the roasted Sesame which sounds weird but I promise it's actually very good it smelled very gourmont to me it has roasted sesame toasted Hazelnut and Sweet Maple and I definitely smell most of like the toasted Hazelnut and the Sweet Maple in this scent it's actually very very nice so that's a little bit about the summer Collections and I'm sure you guys are ready to hear some semiannual sale news so let's get into that so of course we know that bath and buyer always does a summer semiannual sale where basically they clearance most of the store all of their collection that launched this year will be marked down as they make room for fall Halloween and holiday which is nuts to me that that is already coming up but it's just crazy that after semiannual sale is Halloween stuff they do this sale throughout the entire month of June and it usually starts the beginning of the month now I haven't heard official dates yet but we can kind of guess that since they've been starting to do these sales on Saturdays which I don't really love I really miss the Monday sales that most likely could start on June 1st June 1st or possibly the 8th hopefully the 1 cuz I'm actually going to be on a Disney cruise um the weekend of the 8th so I'm like please don't be the eth I will be so sad if I miss a semiannual sale first day it's like tradition for me to go shop all the stores on the first day of the sale but I would maybe mark your calendars along that time but don't like spread this information around to your friends cuz I'm not 100% sure if that is when it's going to be no one's actually announced it yet but this is just just a total guess so I'm thinking it may be around the 1st of June life inside the page posted some information I don't have like pictures and stuff but we have some information of some things we might be seeing at the sale now this is not everything yet I'm sure there will be more stuff but like I mentioned pretty much all their collections that released this year so far for the spring and summer launches will be on sale and sometimes they have leftover stuff from last year too and then they do come out with some new stuff as well but I'm to skip ahead to the body care cuz that's always what I'm super curious about but this is actually pretty exciting they're doing a retired bring back around the world collection and I know so many of you guys have been wanting this one back and it looks like it is possibly coming back this sale wild Madagascar vanilla you guys I have not seen this scent in years this came out like the beginning of when I started my YouTube channel I don't have it right now to like compare but I know so many people love that one and do remember it being a really nice more I would say elevated vanilla it's not your super Gourmand vanilla but I do remember really enjoying this scent let's go ahead and look up the notes so it looks like it has notes of African pear wild Jasmine in milky white creamy Sandalwood I am so excited to see this back again I will definitely be picking this one up for the sale let me know if this excites you guys as well but also in this collection they are bringing back Tahiti island dream which I haven't seen that one in a bit I mean it's come back here and there it's nice it's not like my favorite scent I may pick up a Mist we'll see it's kind of a fun tropical vanilla this one has notes of coconut water tahan vanilla musk in kiwi Blossom I know a lot of people do love this one as well so it's so nice to see them actually like bringing back a couple scents that we actually asked for instead of just the same ones over and over they're also bringing back some more scents which I'm not very happy to see these I will tell you you I feel like a lot of these just come back every summer sale and they're not my favorites we have watermelon lemonade I feel like I just get bored of this scent I mean it's a nice watermelon but I would have liked to see them bring back the watermelon scent from last year was it last year the watermelon blast that was so good um they're also bringing back strawberry soda which is like a true strawberry soda pop like you get that little fizzy element it's nice it's very sweet but I've had better strawberry scents and we've seen this back like every summer sale at this point so it just doesn't excite me as much now if you guys remember this collection from last year they're also bringing back the fruity sherbet scoop which I have been meaning to actually declutter this one it's not a favorite but this is it's definitely more tart I was hoping for like a creamy sherbet with this one but this is a very tart fruity scent I'm not a huge fan of the super tart ones but this one has notes of rainbow sherbet zesty orange and sun-kissed strawberry so if you love this one it is coming back again I'm just I was hoping for something a little different since that collection we just had last summer sale also returning is the whipped coconut milkshake which I know a lot of people did like this one to me I just never really got behind it because I've always been a coconut cream pie girly from Bath and Body Works and whipped coconut milkshake just seemed like a slightly watered down not as good version I would have loved to see coconut cream pie come back instead it's just so much better so I don't know if they're just like done with that one for good and if whipped coconut milkshake is kind of like the replacement of it but I mean it's it's good it's not bad it's definitely not bad I think I'm just like I miss coconut cream pie and I really want that one back so I don't get excited about it but I probably will pick one up to have on hand since this seems to be the one they tend to like bringing back a little bit but I did not think that this collection did very well last summer sale they like launched it on this at the sale half off I think and I feel like this collection just stuck around and people weren't buying it so I'm just surprised to see it coming back I don't know if they had a lot of leftovers usually they do change up the packaging for the sale or they make some new ones for the sale so I don't know I was just not happy to see those returning I would have liked so many other fun scents instead let me know your thoughts on that maybe I'm just being a dumy downer but I don't know I just wanted more they're also bringing back the classic Cherry blossome I feel like maybe we haven't seen that one in a while cucumber melon for the 100th time Fria as well which I don't know if I've seen that one lately either and then I did see this which is exciting they are bringing back cotton candy clouds I should go grab mine actually so I could show you now I can't remember did we see this one last year to let me know if you guys remember I know it's come back for a few summer sales but it is such a classic ever since it was Boardwalk Taffy years ago I think that was like 2020 or 2019 I have always had to have this scent in the summertime and it's definitely one for those who love a good sweet scent it reminds me definitely of a creamy milky cotton candy very fruity and yummy this has notes of Spun sugar pink berries in whipped vanilla but I am happy to see this one back cuz for me it's definitely a Summer Classic and a summer staple from Bath & Body Works for those who really want those sweet Gourmand they will also be bringing back confetti Daydream which I have not smelled this one in a while but I don't think I was ever obsessed with it cuz yeah it just kind of like slipped my mind as something that I don't think is very popular from them but it has notes of fresh raspberry sparkling pear and blue iris and we will also see Cloud n making a comeback for the sale this one has notes of dew drops Amber and lavender it's actually quite a pretty scent I feel like it's very Universal um a lot of people like it it's nice kind of a clean Suite not overly floral or anything like that that's most of the body care I've seen so far I'm hoping that we will still get some more sneak peeks coming up because a lot of that stuff I just don't really need in my collection I'm mostly excited for like the cotton candy clouds and the wild Madagascar vanilla but I don't know it's not really sense that I'm like getting super excited about or just over the moon to pick up some from but let me know your thoughts now I did quickly want to go over the candles as well they will be bringing back watermelon lemonade and Berry waffle cone for the sale probably in special packaging whipped coconut milkshake will also be getting a candle I don't think we've had that before in Candle they are doing some more Blends which are kind of odd I don't know I feel like these don't always go over the best during the sale I always find extra ones during the next sale so I don't know about these they can be very Hit or Miss they're going to have a new in the Stars mixed with honey crisp apple don't know how that's going to smell ocean and vanilla bean that could be good pumpkin and sugared lemon zest that just sounds disgusting Hello beautiful and black CH Mero I think that could be a fun little collab but I don't know these are just always weird to me there will be a few fun soaps as well including the fruity sherbet scoop and whipped coconut milkshake in a soap so they're really good all out with those scents they're doing a very ber crisp soap white T-shirt I love that one so a few you know exciting things to come but I think we will be seeing even more sneak peeks in the next few weeks so that's a little bit of what I wanted to cover today I just was getting excited for the upcoming sales and some new scents coming out just wanted to kind of talk it over with you guys I used to film these videos quite a bit for the new releases so I definitely want to get back to that you know I can kind of talk about things without feeling like I have to buy every single product to review cuz it's just is getting a little overwhelming over here but I am counting down the days until summer semi annual sale I will definitely have some fun bath and buyers videos coming up let me know what you're
