Is AQUA About to Break?! | Oshi No Ko Chapter 126 Review

what's up everyone oceanoco is finally back with chapter 126 and what a comeback it was we got some questions answered and we even got to see more of aqua and Ruby can't ask for much more I'd say but yeah I'm gonna get started with the chapter because it's been so long it basically opens up with miyaka making an announcement to all the stuff at strawberry Productions like we even see Sean there who is Ruby's manager up till now Ruby is also lurking around there in the background as well you see Miyako announces that there's gonna be some major changes and to start with she reintroduces Ichigo to everyone who's there as a part-timer and man let me just say it looks like the last few nights after Miyako caught him have been rough to say the least Dulux shaken up got the bandages and everything Miyako then tells everyone to check the documents in their hands which seem to have all the changes like for example Sean is now no longer Ruby's manager and is instead in charge of memcho and Akana although probably not Kana for long since she will be leaving bikomachi soon Sean also looked shocked since he can't be with Ruby anymore sucks for a little bro but now miaku reveals that she will now be in charge of aqua and Ruby that's all and that one of the girls asked who's gonna be in charge of strawberry Productions it turns out the one in charge will be none other than the one who founded strawberry Productions in the first place the part-timer Ichigo who we see starts cleaning the board poor guy as everyone else leaves Ruby goes to talk with Ichigo and tells him that she's glad this conversation with Miyako seemed to go well I would have liked to see more of that conversation but judging by our Ichigo looks maybe it's for the best that we didn't Ichigo does say that Miyako turning him somewhat and that she just beat him up if he talked back it's funny because we got Miyako just watching him in the background too Ruby's glad he came back though and even suggests that he wanted to return himself after all ruby was already getting a lot of work through him even one he wasn't officially on the job theoretically it would be even easier to get more better jobs now if he came back full time however Ichigo gets up and states that it's not like that and he fell for a certain trap Ruby asks who's trap and Ichigo answers that it was none other than aqua's the master manipulator is back broke hold and Ayano Koji and called Ichigo to the bar that night so he could meet with Miyako the ultimate setup and it all went according to plan you see Ichigo didn't think too much of it because that was a place you normally went to but actually it was Aqua who introduced Ichigo to that place in the first place so it was actually only a matter of time before things turned out this way AKO is scheming and hearing that caused Ruby to start thinking Ichigo seems concerned wondering what the hell Ruby is thinking about now before she walks away excitedly Ruby believes she understands exactly what Alco is doing it all adds up after all her brother loves her so much that he even brought Ichigo back to Strawberry productions for her we see Ruby completely gushing over Aqua in that panel we can see how handsome he looks in her eyes but bro is starting to really look like akaru in my opinion hikaru's jeans are crazy strong and yeah Ruby also says the way akka does things is kinda cute but a Karen Big Brother next page is even funnier because ichigo's looking confused while Ruby spawning over Aqua on her head Ruby remembers that he used to have that Karen side to him when he was a doctor too Ruby finds AKO are very cute although I actually don't think she means that in a romantic way but more of a she finds it cute to see how Kieran he is even while he's pretended not to care like Ruby even says she'll try to accept that Quirk of his trying to act tough even though he's super kind she can't help it since it's always been like that and hopes he can find someone to rely on as she walks away full of joy with Ichigo wondering what the is going on I do want to point out that Ruby doesn't specifically say she wants to be the one Aqua can rely on she just seems to want what's best for him like if you think about it you could say Aqua is more like a father figure to Ruby if anything like how Goro was a father figure to Serena I know it's kind of weird but Aqua treats us all preciously because he cares for her like a daughter and Ruby is just very happy Guru is still there to look after her and wants him to be happy at least that's what I can infer from that last line but yeah moving on we see ichigon Miyako discussing Ruby's schedule Ichigo can tell how tough the schedule is Andy Miyako tries to explain that this is a chance for Ruby to increase their popularity this is like the best time to do so as you probably won't get as much work in a few months from now basically these are the moments where she should try to ingrain her face into people's memories Ichigo does seem to agree at first saying that of course one hit wonders have to make money somehow basically implying that Ruby might be a one-hit wonder then he goes on to say popular performers can appear on shows for one or two seasons but before they realize it they'll have to hand over their seat to the next popular Talent and suddenly they have no job that's why she needs to keep going for when she stops gonna work and if that happens Miyako says that she just needs to get her a job right but Ichigo stops her and reminds her that she shouldn't get impatient and lose sight of the whole situation she shouldn't be scared that rui's popularity will go away after all something like that will definitely come one day but rest assured Ichigo says tairubi is not a one-hit wonder rather their job is to keep that from happening what they need to do now is create a sense of luxury for a ruby for the cast inside the offers her work they'll tantalize them more and make them offer jobs with good conditions and if possible they should try to get jobs with schedules that are somewhat far apart from each other basically don't just be accepted in just any job out there and know which programs Ruby can excel in and those which you won't just because Ruby's on screen doesn't guarantee she will stand out just because it's on TV doesn't mean it will be recognizable they need to find a professional that will ensure Ruby's personal character is displayed well on screen kind of like the dig deep one chance show Ruby and aqua are on Ichigo then looks at the schedule and tells Miyako that she can go ahead and refuse everything going forward they should be more aggressive he even suggests that they should consider sharing work with Kana who knows the entertainment World pretty well it would be better for them to get a bigger office too Miyako has some doubts and goes on to say that maybe if Ichigo were always there the office could have been like that but Ichigo reassures Miyako that she did more than enough with the way she worked she was able to find work without any trouble because of her strawberry Productions actually has a great reputation in the industry Ichigo even suggests that wouldn't be the case if he had remained in charge all this time their current position is only possible because of Miyako he says we can see in the next panel Miyako seems to rub her eyes or something possibly wiping away tears it's pretty great to see Miyako's hard work being acknowledged to be honest but actually miyaka pulls out a plunger and Alexander Ichigo in disgust she tells him that he shouldn't bother trying to please her with his empty words and he can go clean the bathroom next when they're done Ichigo states that he wasn't trying to please her or anything and actually gives an ominous warning at first Miyako thinks he must be referring to a ruby biichigo tells her no the one she needs to look out for is none other than Aqua Miyako likes on and then in the last page we can see AKO looking out into the night sky both the star and gone are activated but one is White and the other is black the chapter ends with the curl flying air Aqua as Ichigo says the aqua is going to break or perhaps he's already broken and that's it as for the chapter I thought it was a really good first chapter after the break it had nearly everything I think we wanted from it like we got to see what happened with Ichigo Miyako after the last chapter plus we got some more Ruby and aqua content which is always Peak although they were separate this time and then the reason Aqua star and gone are different colors is because he's conflicted at the moment I mentioned this in my spoiler video but on one hand AKA still wants revenge at all costs which is why one eye has the dark black star and gone the other white star and gun might symbolize that he doesn't want to completely leave Ruby behind and sacrifice himself like he planned to doing that was surely completely break Ruby and I highly doubt Aqua is too far gone to want that to happen one way or another Aqua has a choice to make achieve Revenge through sacrifice or find another way I think they'll find another way at the last second but we'll see It'll be hype out of the way it really does feel like we're getting towards the end game at this point so let me know what
