clippy one clip oh my goodness if this does what i think it does could you actually really seriously consider carrying a tomahawk as an everyday carrier concealed carry type weapon recently we did a review of a bunch of popular tomahawks and they all did tomahawk stuff pretty well like you can chop stuff with them duh but no thought is ever given to the actual carrying of a tomahawk and its use as an actual real world weapon because that it's not a thing anymore right but i may have actually found a purpose-built concealed carry tomahawk this is the empress tomahawk from wingard wearables a lot of people commented in the tomahawk video that i need to check this guy out so i did and wow this is interesting this is pretty cool i got a tomahawk oh my god this is beautiful and a trainer this is super important i won't seriously consider a weapon for self defense unless there's some sort of training version of it or i can't at least get close these are handmade to be weapons and they're made to be weapons that you can actually carry and that guy right there is pretty badass the guy from empress is amazing he's really cool he's like uh like a cool uncle he's got kind of a mick foley type of vibe and he has a youtube channel i'll link it down below and that's what that's i watched his youtube channel and it made me have to buy one of these because he's so cool and he wrote me he he sent a little explanation of the empress and a handwritten note he intended this to be a weapon which makes it not a tool this is not meant to this is meant to dude this is meant to [ __ ] dudes up that's what this is for and it's it's not symmetrical and it's not symmetrical on purpose and that's because you are meant to carry it on your hip it was designed with concealed carry in mind and uh i'm gonna i'm gonna get to the bottom of that this is the nicest thing i've ever had oh my god like the handle out ow [ __ ] all right so this thing uh is is pretty serious what i like about this to start with is it doesn't have the beard that the the other stuff has these were getting stuck also it's super light this is really lightweight and you might be like boo don't want a big heavy tomahawk you don't need a big heavy tomahawk to put it in a person this you don't whack a dude but if you want to like dig into something you've got that and you could probably use this for light duty he's got an actual full explanation from his end on his channel that i suggest you go check out but like the feeling of this like like it's just so nice when i hold it right next to the fast talk like it's infinitely quicker and faster than the fast talk erroneously named fast talk no i love the fast hawk if i was gonna really like wreck if i wanted to punch holes in a car door i'd probably use this if i wanted to punch holes in a bad guy i'm thinking that this is it but the tomahawk is obviously very cool that hook looks mean but the carry system it came with this contraption which i did not pay attention to as i was pulling it out it goes like that and like that and that's it that's the carry system and then it's got these like alligator clips so let's see would that be like it is designed to be worn in here right and it's kind of curved to go around your hip and it still leaves some room so if you were a less skinny dude you would fit in there but if this does what i think it does which solves the issue of how to conceal carry and draw a tomahawk if this solves that what so if i grab here which these are that's a blade though if i grab here what i think happens because these are clipped to my shorts and now this is just i'm in like athletic shorts and i haven't really set it up but i think what is about to happen is when i pull this out these stay on my shorts and the tomahawk comes out in my hand [Laughter] oh zachary winger you devil [Laughter] that is ingenious and the holster sheath i guess stays with me and now you probably have a little bit of a time putting it back you know re-holstering quickly is not really super high on my list of priorities getting it out quickly and being able to carry it is but actually that was not that wasn't hard bro we have a concealed carry tomahawk i have a concealed carry tomahawk so like you carry it down your pants and watch when you pull it out there's to stay on there [Music] don't do that that's not funny i know that you think like don't play like that okay stab this let me stab this box this is my christmas tree no let me do it no it's not it's so it's not for that oh where's it for people i figured out something pretty interesting when comparing it to this song fast talk this thing is heavier and probably more durable and if you do happen to get it in there really good let me try to stick it when it gets stuck in there really good it's stuck in there really good we have this this kind of stuff here which makes it a good tool for chopping wood but not for chopping faces whereas with this guy here this thing when you sink it into something like this it bites in like a knife and because of that shape it never gets stuck in there no matter how hard i try to snag it you it there's nothing to snag now if you did reverse right here like this that would probably cause problems but then he's probably got bigger problems this thing right here i can hit stuff like this which this has more in common with a man than a piece of wood does you know this oh my goodness that's pretty mean and the other big problem with this and things like this is there's no elegant way to carry it like this has which i know that there's like the belt holster molly webbing holster thing for this i have it it's really bulky and it's only left-handed it sucks this is the only tomahawk in this class that i know of that's that's designed with this type of carry method and is actually meant to be a weapon not a tool but a weapon an actual real weapon that you would actually use that would be an effective oh my god oh this thing is so cool and just look at it just look at that thing i like archery targets for this sort of stuff because they're inexpensive they're lightweight and they don't tear my stuff up which is with this one in particular i definitely don't want to tear this guy up it's just it's just too pretty and i love it too much so i like stuff like this and yeah they tear up and they don't last forever but then you just just go get another one this thing as a weapon is unparalleled in the tomahawk world even its downside which is that it's light will let me snap this thing out there in a way that uh a heavier tool type of tomahawk or axe wouldn't let me do and you might think well but a big heavier one you can like slam that thing in there and really you know bury it in somebody that's not always really necessary if we're talking about a weapon for using on a very fragile person we talk about defanging the snake you know we're out there hitting hands right if i have a heavy one that can do a lot of damage it also requires a lot more energy and time to get it started whereas this one i could flick this and put a pretty good hurting on somebody real fast without any telegraph without any load and whether that's the hands or the face or the legs you know getting this thing out there quick at this sort of range is important and then what i found is if you end up tied up you can't really like slam a like a big decapitating blow with it anyway so being able to get in there quick is more important to me than having it be heavy if i'm talking about using it on a fleshy target now as far as that was close [Laughter] that was real close yikes [Laughter] so uh be mindful careful of this but as far as like this as a weapon it definitely is that now whether that's practical or necessary who knows but right i don't know i don't really care it's fun and it's awesome i'm sort of glad this came up because this addresses the big drawbacks of this if we talk about its use as a weapon now typically when you tomahawk people they try to stop you from tomahawking them and they'll use their hands and arms to do that so whether you're giving it to them quick or chopping a little harder you don't you don't want this to get snagged in hands and arms because if it gets snagged and then even if it buries and even if it does significant damage it might get jerked out of your hand which that's a problem with this but this gives you the option if i do know i'm going to sink a shot like maybe i'm defending someone else and i do know that i've got a good shot that's terrifying that is a pretty scary implement there so i i think as a weapon particularly a concealed carry tomahawk i really think that this couldn't have been done better mr wingard you are a crazy sick twisted awesome beautiful interesting amazing man for making this thing uh it's my favorite thing that i own now again this wasn't an ad he didn't pay me to say this i bought this i ordered this with my own money i don't know the guy but when i see people make cool [ __ ] i think that they deserve some recognition for said cool [ __ ] so i'll put a link down the description below to wingard wearables i can't say that it's practical or sensible to seriously consider concealed carrying a tomahawk for self-defense what i'm saying is that if you're gonna this is it and besides that it's just cool everything doesn't have to be practical and real world for the streets applicable but this is still is that is this occupies a really really strange niche mr wingard there spent so much time wondering if he could build it he never he never stopped and asked if he should but i'm glad he did [Music] hey [Music] [Music] you
