IPSY GLAM BAG X MAY 2021 | First Impressions

whoa that is pigmented you guys holy crap hey guys welcome to my channel if you're new here hi my name is amanda rose and in today's video i am going to be doing something very fun i've literally mentioned this in five different videos i'm going to be doing my ipsy glambag x unboxing for you guys like i said i was really excited for it i could not wait and it is here and i'm going to show you further ado let's go ahead and get into it [Music] alright guys so i have my box here i am super excited to open this up for you guys it's been a really long time since my ipsy has come in a box so it's quite nice that it came in like this before we do get into the unboxing i'm going to kind of let you guys know about the box and all that stuff just if you guys want to try it out so there are four quarters just like fabfitfun you pay an extra 30 on top of what you're paying for the base or the glam bag plus you get seven to eight full size products you get products are a little bit more high and a little bit more fun and exclusive to x and like i said it's been a really long time since i've had a box so it actually comes with foam and it comes with everything in here what is really cool about this is that you actually get kind of like a full newspaper and it has chloe on the front she's the one that kind of curated the box and all the products that are in it it shows you all the products that you have in here all the choices that you have we got to choose three products and the rest were chosen for us there are so many different kinds of products in here we've got the charlotte tilbury magic cream 111 skin rose gold radiance booster hoverboard botanicals exfoliating glow facial and then we've got the one size eyeshadow palette there's just a plethora of things anastasia beverly hills modern renaissance palette ula henriksen banana bright face primer like there is a lot of stuff in here i really do appreciate this because i don't have to go into my phone to see how much everything is the first product that i got is by 111 skin this is a rose gold radiance booster it's formulated with rosette demensa and pure gold to enhance the natural radiance of skin for a coveted dewy lip from within complexion so it has gold in it that's pretty cool oh my gosh that is gorgeous i'm gonna see if i can show you guys up close at first i was like i don't know if i'm going to like this because a lot of the 111 skin stuff that i do have or that he did have i just gave it away to my sister because she loves this but this is pretty i don't know if you guys can see but the gold and rose radiance and they're just so pretty go ahead and put on the back of my hand not like it's going to make a difference but we can go ahead and try it my hands are so dry right now now you can't really see anything right now it just looks like oil on my hand but this is really pretty and it smells so good i don't know exactly what this is but yeah i got this guy here and this retails for 135 135 doll hairs it's a lot of money for this but i'm assuming it works really well and then the next thing i got is by one size beauty it's by patrick stars you guys already know this is the visionary eyeshadow palette at first i was like i got this one over the anastasia beverly hills one but then when i went to sephora and i had seen it i was like okay i get it now and this palette retails for 42 dollars it is so cute i love it that there's a little notch right here so i'm assuming it's for people who have really long nails to get it open because this is like super easy to open and these are all the shades in here you guys obviously know that i really love blue but this color right here it's called rebel gray you guys already know as well that i'm a huge huge fan of gray i love it especially on brown eyes it kind of makes your eyes pop just like say a green would the greens are really pretty in here too and then you have all of your neutral shades gold i'm not really a huge fan of it doesn't really look good on me personally but this eyeshadow palette is really pretty i think i'm gonna swatch okay so this is the gray okay it's cute this one is the all of it cute and then we have the blue mandoo whoa that is pigmented you guys holy crap these shimmers i'm not really they look okay but i'm not wowed by it i don't know it may be different when i put them on i'm not quite sure but i'm really excited to try this eyeshadow palette this is the next product that they had picked out for me i was really excited because i am a huge huge fan of this brand you already know that this is like one of my most favorite skincare brands as of lately this is the ula hendrickson banana bright face primer i've heard nothing but good things about this in a lot of my videos when i talk about primers everyone always asks me if i have tried this yet and i'm like no i haven't tried it yet i don't know why but now i have it and i'm really excited to try it this retails for 38 this has vitamin c to brighten to soft focus powders instantly illuminate the entire complexion and blur the look of fine lines and wrinkles okay i don't like it when they do this it's hard for me to open any of this i literally just rip everything open if i can't get it open within like two seconds then i'm tearing the box open okay that's what that looks like and this blends out really nicely it feels really moisturizing but it's more moisturizing than a normal primer would be and it smells exactly like citrus the next thing i have is by anastasia beverly hills this is the brow pen this retails for 22. the only other flick like brow pen that i have is the nyx one and i absolutely love it it's like the thinnest pen that you could use and it leaves really beautiful hair like strokes the shade that i got is dark brown i never do dark brown always always do ebony with anastasia beverly hills getting the shade i was like i don't know if it's gonna work out for me oh okay this is nice this is not a felt tip pen this is a brush tip pen it definitely leaves hair like strokes but i just the color is my hair is way too dark i suppose i could try to use it on the inside but that's what that looks like the next product that we have here is a lip product this is by mac it's the love me lipstick in baited breath i have not worn a cream lipstick in a long time i'm more of a gloss girl this retails for 21 dollars the packaging is really pretty and it smells like that typical mac lipstick it smells of vanilla this is supposed to be a pinky nude lipstick supposed to be weightless long-lasting and have a soft satin finish i think i'm actually going to try this on right now ipsy picked this out for me and i don't typically wear shades like this and i was actually looking it up on instagram to see what the colors look like and like on other people so um let's go ahead and try this out it's definitely not a color that i would have chosen it's not my favorite it does look good but it's definitely not a color that i would have chosen for myself it is very moisturizing it is lightweight i would probably maybe wear this with a very simple outfit i honestly would probably with what i'm wearing right now is what i would wear this lipstick with i have already tried it on so obviously i'm going to keep it or i can give it to my sister i'm not quite sure those were the four products that they picked out for me we're gonna get into the products that i picked out the first product that i picked out is this is the olaplex intensive bond building hair treatment this primes repairs strengthens and protects all hair types this retails for 28 dollars the next product that i got is by sunday riley ceo this is the vitamin c turmeric face oil and this retails for 40. this is supposed to help brighten hydrate and glow you guys know that i'm a huge fan of sunday riley i have the moisturizer i use it all the time it is my go-to it is my favorite i absolutely love it and this is one of the products that i really wanted to try out this is actually a lot smaller than i thought it would be i thought it would be a lot bigger but i am really really excited to try this because their products have always worked on me and i love the packaging as well and the last product that i picked out is by mac these are the 80 romantic eyelashes and these retail for 18 dollars this is pretty much supposed to be like a fluttery soft type eyelash nothing too like crazy and out of there i mean the only pair that i have that's really crazy are my lily lashes and i love them but like wearing them out i probably wouldn't wear them out maybe to like a birthday party i'm not quite sure or these as you can tell they're shorter on the inside and they flare on the outside i don't typically go for lashes like this lashes that are very similar to this are the ardell demi wispies the regular wispies are my absolute favorite because i like it when lashes are longer in the center to open up my eyes because i have very small cat eyes that go up so i want to be able to open them typically when i do an eyelash that is shorter on the inside and longer on the outside it kind of elongates my eyes this way and i don't want that i know it's kind of weird i've always wanted eyes that didn't turn up so much but this is what god gave me and this is what i'm gonna have to love okay i don't know about these but um we'll give them a try now i'm gonna kind of talk about the experience of picking stuff out with the glam bag x this is the second volume that they have done for this and they do have a little bit more work to do one of the main reasons why i opted to get this is because of the first four products on the page so the charlotte tilbury magic cream and the h a exfoliating whatever it was and then they also had the tower lip gloss there were like a whole bunch of other things that i really wanted that i didn't get the option to pick out or the option to get and per my preferences it's what i thought that i would have gotten but i didn't and there were a lot of people that were mad about that a lot of people got things that they did not want or that their preferences did not reflect and with grouping all of the stuff that they grouped when picking out stuff it just wasn't really exciting to me and to be honest i was when i had seen what i got i was kind of embarrassed that i was so excited for this box that i paid extra money for to only get things that i didn't really like love i do like some of the things that i got in here but it's definitely not my favorite i've had glam bag pluses that have been better than this to be honest there is that now we're gonna go ahead and get into the total value of the box the total value is 344. that is a huge huge total value for a box now the question is would i suggest getting the next volume of a glambag x honestly i'm not quite sure i do want to try it one more time i don't really have an answer for you guys but if you guys do want to try it out the next one should be in august like i said it's an extra 30 on top of your base model you will not be getting
