Interesting Underground Gold Mine Stuffed With Quartz

this is cool just inside the portal here you can see some of the names of the employee is her owners as they would badge in and badge out and then the portal extends in here and you know that's fairly sketchy you were gonna have to do some crawling to get into this one see what's waiting for us I can't tell if it's blowing through or not yet it's definitely you know cool air all right here's a first look inside the portal you see its cave back there it looks like we can get through that with a little bit of work and there's tracks going in so it'll see us back there yeah this material is really crumbly I'm not gonna spend much time in here it colorful but it's not very strong okay there's sort of an X here I'm have to try and get through the middle of that X right there so well what's the see what happens there's cold air blowing on me but it could just be air circulating through the mine you know [Applause] piece of quartz right there all right okay looking ahead I see uh see tracks heading off so I just need to get through this section okay that was not too much fun getting through that that's what we just came through and you can see how all that material came down from up above and it actually looks like they may have been doing some work up there because that extends up a wave more than I would have expected for the metamaterial here anyway I'm not going up on this what's left of these Timbers that's my way out so let's see what's ahead of us here now these Timbers are in better shape than good huh large pieces of track it's like we're coming up on another collapse here I don't if I can get it up it turns to the left more track there's a ladder made out of track that's innovative miners are very innovative all right now this is actually fairly interesting um we've got a drift continuing that way it looks like a Stoke in front of us I'll check on a second there's a chamber going off and this way don't think there's track going back there see the track there so that made a lot of courts back here okay keeps going see there's some stuff back there I will work my way back there oh man look at that quartz that is a solid uh being a course right there Wow now where they were so busy in this section okay so I'm sitting on big chunk of quartz now there's quartz all around me here and then it's like there's bunch of chambers and stuff going on that way we'll check that in just a minute let's stick with a right-hand rule for now looks like there might be a false floor here so I'm gonna approach this very carefully and there's definitely winds going down there's a ladder right Jesus I couldn't waste there's the ladder right there metal ladder and drops down there I can see it keeps going a little way down there I can't tell you know if that's just like a little pocket that carved out down there if actually goes anywhere this is interesting even look at this yet there's this unique wooden bridge right here see it uh extends over here this is interesting so the wooden bridge of course goes over the winds and allows access to workings back there and also workings here I can go over that not sure about going up with a bridge I think that's just a stoop back there I'll take a another look at that in a minute I'm not sure about that one then we liked the idea of going over that big wins in this somewhat rotten wooden bridge meantime let's see how far this takes us looks like it might just stop here actually it kept going you see that's obviously a terrific kept going but it's collapsed completely there's a ton of quartz in the ceiling look at all those veins there's a lot of quartz and then there's uh it's a pocket on the left there give me a second yeah as a pocket they just followed back a little way there and there's no look at that that drift that we will not be able to go down I think I think this bridge is pretty solid I'm gonna very slowly make my way across you know what you know what I'm not actually okay I started going across the bridge because I wanted to show you guys both is over there and after my very first step it started cracking and there's my feet so even I have my limits and that is one of them because that wins goes down I'd estimate about 40 feet and I don't wanna be at the bottom of it with a broken leg but I stepped down here so you take a look at things and I realized I could look all the way in there and it's just a little pocket chamber they cleared out so the absolute no reason for us to go back there anyway okay I've kind of little ways down that wins and you can see all the courts around me this is all just solid courts so no surprise are coming down here here's the view up you see underneath that bridge right there and that's what I've started coming down the ladder is getting a bit shaky I'm just getting really shaky and that's getting vertical just about and I tossed a couple of rocks down there and it sounded like the kept going in other words they they pushed a little pocket straight ahead that way which is what you can see there but it sounds like it keeps going down underneath me this way if that makes sense it's sort of I guess it forms star like a C shape whereas I'm on the top of the seat and it bends around then continuous underneath me given how shaky this is and rusty and vertical I don't really feel the need to keep going down just to see the bottom of the winds I've seen plenty of those before they're just gonna be some rock down there nothing nothing too special so I'm gonna wrap this one up here but I didn't want to show you guys you know or tell you guys what what the deal was here it came in from you see the rail right there and ton of quartz - let's just go check these chambers out real quick I guess I'd go anywhere see that's one of the openings right there that we looked through got a decent size scope right here looks like it drops down farther I'm not gonna walk on that cuz that could give way oh wow this is a pretty big stoop actually you see it extends up there and also just all right there also keeps going up there yeah I think I can get up there okay there's the area as worker you get up to I can see from here that doesn't keep going though these are the pocket right there and they cleaned out a bunch of course right here but it doesn't keep going and I could get across this rock wall here but it's it's pretty slippery and it is kind of a ways down so I don't see any reason to to push it when I can see what's up there anyway so I'll head back down and we'll continue that way okay I just came out of that chamber there that's dope chamber this is where we entered this section from and here is a view toward the main drift actually yeah you see me the main at it the main hall is at it is through those openings there down here can you see there's a fairly large pit there and that extends up into a pretty good-sized Stoke chamber there and of course that connects the step we saw and the other room there hopefully guys can see that opening there that runs into the other chamber that we we saw another room you see the stole right there bending under the pressure you see the hoses going up there too interesting and then there's better view that's the track I was falling in so obviously there's more stuff continuing that way we'll check that out in a minute meantime I'm going to show you this behind me you see there's another false floor here and it drops down there and drops down a ways is there I can't see the bottom of that hold on to the rock test [Music] okay just stopped that that's a lot deeper than I realized that cuts down a long way I'm definitely not gonna be walking on that you can see they clear out a little chamber right there and then there's a drift here it goes back and then just stops right there so that's it for this little section and of course this goes way down beneath me but that's not even an option at all even for me so I will turn the camera off and rejoin you in the main hall which at it okay there's looking back toward the portal that's the section I just climbed out of and here's one of those openings that lead down to that pit there see some of the tools there and see that corner pocket right there that keeps going down a long way real long way [Applause] and then they're actually more chambers over here which it was not possible to access from the other side so let's go check those out real quick sorry I have my footings a little unsure here okay another Stolp above us with a ton of quartz again a lot of cords back here Wow and then in front of us as a little drift here does it go anywhere okay looks like those are on bins okay so around the corner and then just stopped right there and I'm just checking to see if that's a collapse yeah that's a collapse actually I didn't end there originally that's all collapsed so you hear my voice echoing a lot more so that's supposed to be a good sign for the quality of the rock here okay I just came from there and let's see where this main hall is out it goes Bend into the left no there are more chambers up here alright there's dope up there looks like it might go up fairways yeah see how it extends up there and then this section terminates there that's not a collapse that terminates there you seal the rail look into that and then there's this one which has big big rails and that also terminates right there all that looks like there might be something here to the left now they like the way to the left but that's it all right so while I was in the main adit we just saw mr McBride was out finding another at it as he does so often this is the the trail leading into it you can see the large waste rock pile here and this actually washed out through there the mine that we just explored is about right there so I'm sure that this connects because there are those big wins is going down and I would bet quite a lot that they connect and aside here where's mr. McBride going in ahead of us I love this formal here like the almost there's like a keystone everything right there that is really really neat really really solid too huh of course those are famous last words played and come crashing down and me now that I said that but it sure looks solid and it's dry to you man this is just well what more can you ask for kind of skinny I love these natural Timbers man yeah Howie's a really neat oh there was so much quartz in the upper one it was unreal and circle the entire aisle they say they had the strips cuz I got the wood here yeah exactly and he said this wood goes over very nice this is this kind of reminds me of the BFE right here oh wow that oh yeah they're cleaning out little pockets here yeah exactly what's weird is okay notice the rock is not like really rust stained in there now you know like what we normally associated with you and I would with the iron yeah tell you the remains of September's here - I just see the bear tracks oh man oh holy guess it bears also explore mine but anyway were my explorers can't hold against the bear there's some of the metal that would go on top of the strips of wood oh wow this is really cool yeah just pull all these timbers were I'm sure there was a few square sets in here I love that pillar right there though how cool is that that's bad nothing don't you go check out that you see that's probably one of your winces ties in no question about it i guarante that so perfectly in line with where I was I guarantee that ties in the quartz up above was unreal yeah I think actually I I started going down a winds that was about here and I'll bet this is the one that I was tossing rocks down it and it it sounded like a hit this kind of material at the bottom so I bet that's it good CSI Matt slate looking rock right there that's quite possible yeah what does it mean look at the the weights uh the ceilings composed yeah I believe so yeah yeah your eyes so how far back that one I don't know that's that's that's a good size that's a good sized rip that way because that did you see where it was kind of open on the side over there too I mean it kind of goes back and I'm like kind of opens out themselves yeah I did see that I'll check this that's the one that keeps going back there and they see where that there are a lot of false floors and the one up above yeah yeah one of them start cracking hernia so I said not to go on that one see just fall on the left as well yeah exactly that is really cool it kind of none of that but do you notice how even though we're in here in a cicada this doesn't feel stuffy stuffy not until there's probably a small amount of air coming through yeah I told you I thought I felt airflow up above yeah it does it's nice and cool and it feels like there's somewhat of a breeze yeah I wonder how far this went oh is it really Jesus okay that's where I just came from and I clambered up on top of this debris pile it came down lightly scampered well foot and you can see it kept going but there's absolutely no way we're gonna get through that it's just done so that's how far I went but that will be for future generations okay I'm up above the adit I just went in and you can see I guess even cause the shaft since it connects to the surface a very small shaft dropping down into the workings where we just were not sure exactly were even I don't even know if that does connect actually but this is directly above where we just were so I'm assuming that drops down but who knows it could just be a small little prospect shaft they cleared out there's a big surface big bit of surface mine they did over there it's you know center screen where it's leveled off they took a big chunk out of the mountain around the bend there so I spent a lot of quarks here that they were chasing I'm gonna do this much work all right I'm up about the mine now and there's some cool buildings here there's a cabin right there mr. nibbles right there the cabin right there some sort of workshop right there I've been checking this out yet it was like they even had a running water here which is interesting there's no water isn't mine but barbecue or Abbey's the grill those are some great look at this chair there's one here it's pretty cool with this one this one takes it to the next level I like it this is in good shape it looks like it's been plug I would say at least five years since somebody's been down here judging by the state of things here okay I came around the back side of the cabin now there's a view of it workshop bunch of barrels here also equipment back here this looks like I've seen better days water wouldn't hear a lot of wood in here oh that's a cool wood stove look at that wood stove I like that uh I see some pipe and hose mine stuff but most is it's just a lot of wood big fan right there huh there's some more stuff over here although this stuff looks like it's seen better days distant past [Applause] there's mr McBride you may have found something interesting since he was wandering around down here filing down here that that would qualify something interesting that that's really interesting I'm just trying I think if I just had any of this anything else could possibly be other than a grave there's the billions and such right there yeah that that is true I mean it's been here a while obviously I am I would love to know the story behind this probably the original owner or the original yeah I'm just curious how old it is and all that kind of stuff that big trees back here too huh yeah
