Installing an IKEA Pax Closet

it's my favorite day of buying a new house the day that all the IKEA stuff arrives but specifically the tax closet system so we've got a whole bunch of boxes back here a few parts we're out of stock so we won't be able to complete it 100% still a lot of stuff yeah it's a pretty similar time we'll be installing a pax closet and I feel like it's pretty simple it's just tedious and time-consuming and a lot of pieces are different than others like you open it and you'll be like oh that's the same thing as the last one I just did and then you get halfway through and realize you just get a bunch of steps and move together wrong and then you have to start over so you kind of just have to read all of the instructions yeah but it's pretty simple like yeah we've installed or put together a lot of flat pack furniture so we're basically providing yeah we'll probably just time-lapse it yeah to go all the way upstairs be unpacked yeah together so it's gonna take a while I think we should do one cabinet at a time yeah because then will overload ourselves okay cool get started sure [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so last night we finished up all of the frames for the cabinets and now I just need to refer to my pictures and my planning tool file that IKEA has on their website to know where all of the drawers and shelving and all those things are going yeah they turned out pretty well we we anchored them to the wall that's what those little deals are up there we didn't have to mount every single one to the wall because they're all connected this is actually a corner piece that you can buy attaches together by that bracket down there this corner it was so close to just like working out normally but Joey just attached and I'll bracket up there in the back so everything is all connected together so it's not going anywhere so here is what the drawers are like these are the shallow ones for the corner but they come with the soft clothes which is nice so yeah I will get started [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] and we're all done for now at least still waiting on five drawers to go here they were out of stock when I initially made the order but they're on their way and two hampers here that are not in stock so hopefully I can still get them but here it is I do wish they went all the way to the ceiling but we'll be able to store all of our luggage up there so that's cool and we might add some lighting and stuff like that I might adjust some of the shells we'll see but yeah I would definitely check out IKEA if you're looking to do a closet they have a great planning tool that I'll link in the description and it turned out pretty much exactly how I planned it so anyways thanks for watching [Music]
