Install Java JDK on macbook M1

hey guys what's up welcome back to another video so in this video i'm going to show you how to download and install java jdk into your mac os specific on m1 so to check if java is already installed into your system or not just type command and space to open the spotlight and just type terminal and this will open the terminal and just type java hyphen version so if it says something like unable to locate the java runtime so java jdk is not installed into your system so to install open your favorite browser and source for download java jdk and just go to this first link from oracle.com so you will see all the available version to download here so to download the procedure is similar so i will be downloading the long term support which is 11 version so let me just click on this jdk download and down here you will be able to see this mac os installer so just click on this dmg file and just accept the license agreement so once you do that it will ask you to sign up so if you are downloading the latest version so it won't ask but for long term support it will ask you to open the account so just click on this create account and you just need to fill up your form just click type email address password and country and whatever the required information and just click on create account so this will create the account and once you create account just enter your username and password so once the sign in is successful it will automatically start downloading this dmg file so once this dmz file is downloaded let me just click on this so in finder and just double click and once you double click let me just click on this package so this will open the installer here so just keep on pressing the continue here just click on install and enter your password and this will start the installation process so once the installation is successful let me just click on close and also let me just move the installer into the trash and again let me just type command space to open the spotlight and just type the terminal and just type java hyphen version again so you can see here the java version 11 and the java jdk is successfully installed into our mac so once you install this let me just go to the browser and search for z brains toolbox and let me just go inside this jetbrains.com and let me just click on this download so this will download the dmg for installing the jetbend toolbox just click on this dmg file and if you just double click this dmz file so this will open the installer so just install that and once you install so just click on this zitwin toolbox and here you will get to see the option of installing all the tools available so just click on install for this intellij community edition so once you install this just open this intellij or you can just open from launchpad as well so once you open this just click on this new project and click on java so this will automatically detect the java version install into our system so which is 11 versions which we have just installed and just keep on pressing next and just give the project name so let me call it hello and just click on finish so this will create the hello project in the intellij so let me just click on this always download so that we won't get this notification again so let me just close this one and here just click on this source and just right click click on new java class and let me call it hello world and just type main and just types s out this is urgent codes and if i just right click here you will get to see this option of run so just click on this run so you can see here the program has been successfully run in our intel ij so this is how you install the java jdk into your macbook m1 and also install the z drains and run your first java program thank you so much for watching don't forget to like share and subscribe to my channel
