Inspire 2 (Dual Operator Mode) - KEN HERON

hey everybody it's Ken and Kelly hey some of you may recognize us from the radio we look good on the radio they're real good on the radio oh yeah we're in Murray Kentucky today and we're gonna fly the inspire 2 now as hot as it is it might be the perspire - today hey alright yeah we're here on the campus of Murray State University home of the racers racers whoa what's that is a sports thing it's a horse that's their mascot oh yeah today we're gonna fly mr. inspire to around yeah so Kelly here not his real name his real name is yeah I told him your real name that's not it either so Kelly and I used to do a morning show until he flaked out you faked out on me off like that it's like that but that's good because that left me more time to do these wonderful YouTube videos for you now you've got how many followers Oh 11 yeah so today we're gonna use the dual operator mode on the inspire - and you're gonna fly it yes thanks me I'm gonna fly okay and then you're gonna operate the camera cuz you can't can't go wrong with the camera yeah you can't really crash it right right right right the funny thing is we're both now drone pilots part 107 licensed he works in real estate doing the where you want tell em where you work Pete Realty Group calm there you go link in the description I've got it set up where he's gonna get to operate the camera and of course you realized that I'll be flying with this two axis gimbal camera and hopefully hopefully it'll work out and get you some good imagery of the campus you ready yeah I think I'm ready man let's do it well you haven't given me any instructions at all oh you don't need them okay [Laughter] you ready man yeah contact watch the legs ah that cool I'm gonna do a 360 around the clock tower and you just kind of try to keep it in [Music] in the camera there okay you got it is it nice and centered well the key is for cinematic shots is to try to accelerate and just kind of you know don't don't have it flopping all over like you're doing that so keep it keep it not flopping okay you got it all right I'm gonna come around the other side coming around now I'm gonna get a little bit lower and get close to the the face of the clock okay all right and you keep keep the face I can see you're just zipping all around you got it you got it in there yeah cinematic man cinematic now what I'm going to do is I'm going to turn completely around and you keep the camera on the clock and then I'm gonna go forward towards the street and and it'll essentially be filming backwards but I'll be going forwards you got it step forward about three feet so that I can keep V loss on this thing so come over here I'm you can't see but I'm directing him so I can keep an eye on it okay so the camera is facing backwards you've got it centered all right I'm gonna head over the the courtyard keep it on the clock all right good you got it yeah what do I need to adjust the sensitivity you got it can you see us yet so that's the way to fly backwards and I'm actually flying forward all right now I just need to pay attention to the fly and you pay attention to the camera all right I'm gonna sit there for a second and you just kind of paying around look at interesting things I'm going to show the people in the camera what I'm seeing I can see the two axis fpv camera and then in the borders I can see what he is seeing I also have my eye on the drone but I can I can do this and then just kind of see what he's saying don't do anything with the Cameron you tell me where and I'm facing the football field oh no no no no no no you just look because the camera is going with if you don't move the camera then it'll go well no I guess it won't it don't it it doesn't move when I oh my gosh I did not know that look I'll show the people I thought that the camera would go but you can see in the background if I'm spinning the cameras thing still that's interesting hey you learn something new every day alright are you still filming the thing okay okay I'm going to point you forward so you can see what I'm doing here I'm coming over here to us I'm like 41 feet I'm gonna fly between these trees try to keep the camera straight you get oh do you see me now you see me buddy okay threading the needle of the tree you do you really squinch it up for me we grab it hey everybody so here we are yep there we go alright so I'm gonna that beeping you're hearing is that proximity sensors I'm going to go ahead and manually put their landing gear down tada thoughts what do you think what do you think um I'm still getting used to the sensitivity of the controller on the camera but that can be adjusted yeah and I think maybe on my first slide I could have seen it better just using the screen not using this till I get it I've never used these before oh okay okay yeah that could throw ya people off yeah you want to go to a different location let's do it all right all right so we're off to the new location Kentucky Lake all right what's at the Kentucky Lake I mean other than water water boat skiers jet skis bikinis can't verify that yet all right should we fly over the bikinis would that be too creepy that's illegal my friend I don't think they're just bikinis laying there oh yes bikinis laid out on the sand good location perfect yeah got a little bit of a puffy cloud cover nothing to worry about I'd say about a 15 mile an hour breeze coming up off the water to keep us nice and cool and this bridge Kelly's gonna tell you the name of it hey you remember this bridge it's the bridge it done blowed up yeah man out dude we'll see it again here go oh yeah gotcha no tonight we got some flying to do so this time now your camera operating skills are hot but I'll go ahead and do it this time I got no problem okay good visual observer here we go [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] we're going in hot day whoo yeah whoo ha ha where do we do orbiting this and then we do and then tell you oh yeah and then with the head so I'm gonna bring it in landing gear down please yeah they cleaned off the sidewalk didn't yeah whoo thanks man hey we hope you had fun watching us today and if you ever have a
