Insane Speakers under $200! Best Speaker Under $200-2024

these are absolutely the best speakers that you can buy in 2024 under $200 so sit down grab a cup of coffee and let's talk about these awesome affordable speakers [Music] mhm speakers are expensive but there are some gems out there for not a lot of money this is the Rockville rockshelf 64 V2 now this speaker comes in at $80 it has one big problem but after a while that problem goes away yep it's finally degassed the glue that they use on this thing I think is filled with form Malahide so when you first pull them out of the box they don't smell well but if your budget is only $100 or less these little speakers are actually really good they make a ton of base in a sealed enclosure you can hang them on the wall with included wall hanger don't expect this to be the highest of fidelity expect this speaker to be fun this is your first system if you're buying a system for your kids which incidentally take them out of the box put them in the garage for a month or two and then put them in your kids' room you don't want those noxious chemicals in your kids' room initially okay trust me two-way design they look pretty good good and they just punch you in the face with base awesome for $80 don't smell the glue though for a couple of weeks this is the Sony sscs5 probably my favorite speaker ever it's a two and a halfway which means it has a 5 and a qu inch wer oh yeah oh yeah just like the Kool-Aid Man a 1in soft Dum twea and a 3/4 inch soft Dum super twea some people love this speaker some people hate it I love it ported design on the back decent binding post this is a 6 ohm speaker this is a speaker that leans a little bit exciting on the top end there's going to be a little bit of Sparkle this is a speaker that actually has really good textured base this is a speaker that will actually scale with electronics I don't know why anybody would be upset at this little speaker I mean come on you know what you are it knows what it is right now it's selling for $200 on Amazon do not buy it at $200 there will be sales throughout the year the most common price for this speaker is around $150 it will go down to15 it used to go down to $90 like twice a year on Black Friday or big sale days I haven't seen it that low for a while but if you see this in the 120s just buy a pair keep them as backup so somewhere I've probably purchased eight pairs of these and as soon as they go on sale again I'm going to be buying another pair of them they are my reference for a speaker under $200 I can't say enough about this speaker and if you're a little DIY focused you want to get a screwdriver out maybe clip some wires my friend Neil has a crossover upgrade for this speaker that can really take it to the next level the numi be S5s I don't have that speaker here anymore because I sold it in the beginning of the channel it comes in at $109 it's a two-way 5 and a/4 inch woofer 1 in I think it's a 1 in softone Tweeter front ported which means you can put them right up against the wall on your desk or maybe as surrounds hanging off the wall great neutral speaker leans a little bit warm but is what I would consider to be more of a highi sound the rockville's are fun the Sony's are fun the numis are kind of more mature a more mature sound that's $109 these are the miciah rb42 that's right I didn't love this speaker when I first got it in but I got it back and listened to it and was really blown away because these things do awesome now you look at this little tiny speaker and think hey it probably should go on a desk no I found this speaker to be at its best when it was in a larger room playing loud it's got a rear port on the back and is a fairly heavyduty speaker which I think is one of the reasons why it sounds so good cuz you're not going to have a lot of cabinet residence that's like hitting a cinder block does take a little bit of power this has a 4 in maybe 4 and 1/2 in woofer right here 3/4 in soft D Twitter most of these all have soft D twitterers which I really like takes a little bit of power but let's be honest you're probably not going to be listening to this thing at 85 DB or higher so even if you don't have a Powerhouse of an amplifier you're still probably going to be able to get some very very good sound out of these really impressive little speaker and its price is $150 and they hold this price always 150 always on Amazon wonderful the elac BS 41 okay if I am saying there is one speaker on the list that probably is the most refined it would be the elac bs41 4in woofer but still makes a ton of Base 1 in softone Tweeter rear ported on the back nice binding post this one comes in around to $160 however when the Sony's go on sale the Sony sscs5 is go on sale the elac usually go on sale and these come down down to about $125 too more of a balanced sounding speaker and compared to the other ones may seem a little bit warmer a little bit less exciting on top but these can take more power they can play louder and are closer to that audio file flat boring sound I'm not saying these are boring at all they're actually not boring and for their price they're built really well almost pretty now we need to talk about the elephant in the room I don't have these here and these are only $200 when they're on sale it is the elac b52s now this is a real speaker these are all real speakers but this is a step up a bigger Step Up This is the law of diminishing returns to where you spend a little bit it's good spend a little bit more it gets a lot better spend a little bit more it gets a lot better you spend a little bit more or a lot more doesn't really get a a lot better but the elac B 5.2 is a big step up and it goes on sale at $199 this is the RSL cg3 M now I got to put a caveat on this speaker it doesn't really make any Basse so it cuts off around 90 htz so with this speaker you're getting excellent performance you're getting an excellent refined audio file frequency response how however it's probably not going to do it for a lot of people because it just doesn't have any base you're going to have to have a subwoofer for this thing but I wanted to include it because they're about2 200 well $210 so slightly over $200 for a pair of these however they're very versatile you can use them for surrounds I've used this for a center speaker you can use it obviously for two channel listening these probably aren't going to cut it on their own but they're a really good speaker want to give you options here this the yamamo S 803s this speaker a little bit big for its britches right now this thing used to be about $135 it used to be part of a five speaker home theater set which you could get for $135 so at that point the 803s from yamo were a complete steal because we also got a pair of s 801s which were a complete steel right now these are actually selling for more than $200 who do you think you are I think they're overvaluing themselves even the five piece home theater setup is going for over $400 don't ever buy it don't buy that for that price don't buy these for over $200 these are $135 speaker Max maybe 150 they're fun they're bumpy on the bottom sparkly on the top mid-range Clarity suffers a bit so you're not going to have a lot of that mid-range detail as you would get from the Sony sscs5 as you would get from the RSL as you would get from the Micah rb42 as you would even get from the elac bs41 but they're fun on the back you have a keyhole Mount because you have a front Port so you can hang these on the wall even on the top they have a area where you can plug in an Atmos mod and then on the back you can see that there's two sets of binding posts I don't know how long this series is going to last I think they just came out yamamo just came out with a new affordable line for speakers but as it sits right now if you can get these for less than 150 bucks it's still a good speaker it's not a great speaker it's a good speaker for me the best speakers that I've talked about are the Sony sscs5 the Mah rb42 which I just can't believe and the elac bs41 so you don't need to spend a ton of money on speakers to get great sound now you may be wondering what am
