Insane Flash Flooding, Antelope Canyon and Page Arizona. August 2nd, 2013

just God ever you so here's maverick that's the gas pumps there's a river in the gas box before the flooding in this guy ain't going anywhere I'm standing on highway 89 right now nothing but mud here's the highway this is an amazing amount of sand they just got transported down here the water still kind of flowing here laughs there's a truck that was parked in the parking lot in maverick see how the water levels were here this is pretty impressive this place just turned into a river if the gas pumps in maverick you can see that they have been completely turned into a river here that's like it they kept it out of the store which is pretty impressive struck in amazing the one out you're not from peja not from Paige so what happened we stopped to get gas and we watched it and I can see a bunch of water running behind the Maverick and we just got that we went walking back there there's like a river running behind the Maverick and we were standing back there and I notice I'm I'm scared because I can see the water coming around the front so I come running around here and it was just horrid but in here and we just stood there and watched there's at least two feet of mud and I can't tell like I said there's a lot of trucks about walk into the long highway 89 here that's pretty good much well not even near where the means walk across the road I'd say that's a good almost mile of road that just got completely flooded with Sam this is just nuts

What happens in the desert after a flood? Does everything dry out and turn to desert again? Does it create a big bloom of plantlife?

I had heard that those slots in the canyon fill up even with the lightest rains even miles away. People can die in there and get trapped. Thats an amazing video.
