INSANE "68 MPH" Electric Scooter! Inmotion RS Review

58 59 560 the in motion RS has a claim top speed of 68 mph and it runs on 72 volts with a 40 amp battery PUD 77 M hour I think this is probably the fastest and most powerful electric scooter I've ever got and in today's video we're going to take this thing out for a review and see if we make it back in one piece regardless oh man that freaking bottle dude you can see the current price and any discount I might be able to offer you in the link below this video in the description box and here's what it looks like when you get out of the box this one is yellow although they do have two colors in the scooter which you can see link below the video in the description and we are rolling on a street Tire 3.5 in wide 11 in tall and we do have a dual Crown Fork let's check out the latching mechanism thank that's on there then this thing comes up here and screws on in there yeah guess we're good to go now right and the Dual Crown Fork on this bike is adjustable height so you can raise and lower the handlebars this much I am noticing the handlebars on this one kind of angle back a lot more than a typical electric screwdriver riew here's what a pair of size 14 shoes looks like on here definitely a spacious deck and it is like a rubbery feeling material feels pretty grippy looks like it has like a little metal thing back here to put your foot on get a little leverage pretty clean looking integrated light back here we'll fire up soon box of goodies a big old charger 72 volt battery charge to Max is right around 84 volts this charger will take us up to 83.6 Vol and a 5 amp charge rate the battery pack on this scooter is 40 amp hours divided by a 5 amp charge rate does this one have two charge ports or one oh yeah it does have two so you could actually plug two Chargers in there handlebars on the handlebars have a bit of a rise and they actually sweep back just a little bit so the entire cockpit kind of just sweeps back a lot more than a typical electric scooter we'll fire this display up in a moment the grips are round and rubber grips here's a peek at the controls on the right side is how we change our power assist and turn it on it is a quarter twist throttle of course we do get hydraulic brake levers feel good so the max weight capacity of this scooter is 309 lb and actually despite the weight of this thing it really doesn't feel that heavy cuz all the weight is very low here's what the motor looks like up close and obviously it is a dual motor electric scooter climb Hills with ease the front has a coil Monoshock you can adjust the rebound right here and around back you get the same coil shock same exact rebound adjustment the tires are tubless and when it comes time to stop we have 160 mm hydraulic disc brakes with dual Pistons around back we get the same exact brake and there is regen brake on this thing so let's go ahead and fire it up looks like we get our speed front and center trip odometer battery life in terms of five bars looks like we get mode one I don't know what I'm doing wait D there's a d that popped up over there let's try some of the buttons on the other side headlights turn signals o nice so we get turn signals on the right and the left and here's what the headlight looks like and when you turn those lights on you also get some lights down here same thing around back as well as a light back here which also functions as a brake light when I pull the brake lever it lights up more so hopping aboard this scooter here's what I look like on this thing at 6 SPL five suspension is feeling squishy dude this thing's supposed to go almost 70 mph are you kidding me so compared to a normal electric scooter I review the handlebars and everything definitely come in like a little bit closer uh we'll see how it affects things so about 124 lb net weight that's what the website says let's see what it really weighs so I weigh 190.2 today and I'm going to try and pop a wheelie on this thing whoa whoo whoo whoo buddy number comes in at oh just I think it's ma not my scale let's say like 31 16ish and then it just turns off yeah about 125 lb all right one other thing with the suspension is you can actually change where it's mounted there's four different positions so if you don't like the way it handles out of the box you can actually change that and you get the same exact adjustability on the rear suspension so there is an app to activate this scooter looks like the scooter comes right up now we are activated ready to roll looks like we we get our battery life in terms of a percentage in the app and I want to change those units to mil per hour mphs then they have other stuff like zero start as well as cruise control oh this is pretty cool so you can change your acceleration force uh from the front wheel and rear wheel so you can kind of set it up how you want a lot of times these dual motor scooters the high power ones the front we'll spin out on you well maybe we'll play with that on the ride so after reading the manual a bit this d means dual motor and now that it's activated one oh yeah now we can go through our four levels oh let's give it a try mode four let's do it CRA dude so it does have a slow start feature I'm doing Full Throttle on Mode 4 ready go so you can see it kind of eases on the power 77 M an hour all right dudes you know what time it is we're going to take out the inmotion RS so of course we're going to track our official range on the GPS but more importantly we're going to get out the speedometer app so we can verify this onboard speedometer is accurate and I am freaking scared so let's fire this thing up and get on out of here so the lights on this thing are actually pretty bright check it out got to be mindful of my head in this tunnel and yeah these lights are pretty bright and we have the uh turn signal what's that horn sound like crap that's loud so we go to start this review out the same way we start all my reviews run it up the 20% grade we'll put it on mode number one though and dual motor just see how gentle this thing oh yeah so uh yeah yeah so on mode number one here does have this nice little twist throttle power delivery is uh pretty gentle but uh definitely robust and powerful feeling this is on dual motor so come to stop here give it a little blip Full Throttle so as crazy powerful as this thing's going to be the power delivery can also be gentle on mode number one First Impressions Runing this thing man this feels like a very nice electric scooter this is like super cozy to be on I like how the handlebars kind of sweep back they're wide uh the angle of the stem the geometry of this thing just feels nice man so we know it can do some crazy stuff I think probably most of the time people aren't going to be doing so crazy stuff going around that turn there on dual motor there was no spinning out of the wheel or anything mode number one that is so you know sometimes these dual motor scooters you know they can they can really tend to spin out on you so you can just kind of Full Throttle it in a turn there on mode number one and mode number one brings us up to a healthy 20 mph does have regen brake I can feel the regen brake let's go ahead and bump this thing on over to uh single motor now so single motor mode number one yeah even more gentle but looks like this will still take us up to about 20 mph so you can run this thing on either single motor or dual motor and then there is one more mode where it flashes D I actually don't know what flashing d means not sure if it's on Dual single or just front motor but it is flashing D power delivery feels about the same oh yeah going around this turn like I just I don't have like really any weight on those handlebars at all like the geometry that stem and steering column just feels like it naturally wants to kind of go straight which is good cuz there is no steering damper on the RS so I'm just going to go come to stop throw this thing back on dual motor I guess you should stop these things before you Chang the dual motor to single motor and that sort of stuff let's bump it on to mode number two and give it a bit of a Full Throttle so little wheel spin there now and holy crap dude I'm letting off dude I that 34 mph this thing doesn't even feel like it's freaking trying holy smokes man yeah dude this thing I can already tell this got a little bit of juice in it honestly mode 2 I'd say is probably all any body would ever really need my goodness dude this thing's freaking taking off mode number two topping out at about 41 and now would be a good time to see if these brakes will actually bring this thing to a stop rolling into this busy intersection so typically I take you know the sidewalk and stuff I don't even think we need to do that today let's try mode number three oh wow front wheel's spinning out dude so hopefully you guys can see that uh this is taking us up to well I let off but but man I feel like I could uh have some rear view mirrors on this thing like riding a freaking motorcycle oh I'm not familiar with the poth and stuff over here maybe I should be careful watch out cars we got a scooter coming through bro we're quickly oh my goodness I I'm not comfortable on this thing quite yet I just got on it 2 minutes ago so having absolutely no problem keeping up with traffic and we are on the street wheel street tires um 11 in tall 3.5 in wide suspension is feeling pretty good out here in traffic behind the Prius we should overtake this dude just show what's up he he has no idea I'll flip on a blinker here cuz we do have them a little bit nervous about these cracks in the road they are 11in wheels which are better than shorter Wheels but nonetheless not quite as tall as you know like uh you know a 20 in or 26 in we see on like an electric bike over take some Priuses get in get up here at the Teslas so I want to be careful going around this TR on dual motor with all this power don't want that front wheel spinning out on you but mode number three woo don't break check me Tesla what the heck dude we got three Teslas in a row here we'll get on over here see if we can make this light oh yeah no problem on the RS hello all right let's do an acceleration run back breake is on the left electric motorcycle setup we want to know that so we don't throw ourself over the handlebars by accident and mode number four here I'm just going to kind of Ease on the throttle with my camera tilted down a bit here ready go so spins out 30 whoa holy crap dude so super powerful yet also uh kind of delivers the power in a reasonable manner I don't know if there's like some sort of slow start on there or I shouldn't say slow start but you know like gentle ramp up of power let's try again here ready go so yeah yeah so it doesn't give you all the juice right off the line but 40 woo full thr AO ready go 20 30 40 all right all right all right all right all right I might get in and and see if it has like a slow start on there or something maybe turn that off not I don't even think you should turn it off but we might just be able to get a little faster acceleration out of it and to comment a little bit more on the riding position of this thing I actually really like like how these handlebars come up uh it's kind of hard to show like point of view but like my my right foot kind of like comes up like under the handlebars so like it just feels like a more like natural like performance oriented experience compared to like a lot of the stances I have on other scooters where it's kind of like the handlebars are more like you're kind of reach out to them they're in front of you this one you're you're kind of like almost like built into the cockpit of the scooter see like those ones you like reach out to those handlebars it just feels like you're sitting on a missile pretty much bro oh yeah we have the acceleration force on this thing set to 50% apparently uh yeah 50% front 50% rear so that's actually pretty dope you can uh you know change your acceleration amounts like I was saying you know a lot of times your bigest concern on these dual motor scooters that are high power is just you know Wheels spinning out on you so I guess I'll just change the front front to 100% the rear to 100% And the brake force is at 50 So that obviously be your uh regen break and apparently we have some ride modes too so there's P Eco D and S so now we have it on ride mode s recommended to professional Riders more responsive power all right so let's try top speed run here see how this goes four ready all right so we definitely have more acceleration 30 40 50 and I'm letting off for now oh good thing I'm letting off this dude's pulling out in front of me this is uh the most nervous I've ever been on an electric scooter honestly so let's Che oh yeah four spinning out here just a little bit so pull throttle ready go spinning 30 40 come on now don't pull out in front of me 52 holy crap I got a let off bro 50 my god dude 54 holy crap 56 57 woo all right we got to bring this thing to slow down man my heart is racing let skip behind this uh whatever this race car is so it would be nice if there was a steering damper on this not so much cuz like I feel like I need a steering damper or anything it just kind of would make me feel you know a little more comfortable but let's get out here do a little lane splitting if we can overtake this superar what is that thing even Lotus sweet man dude this is hilarious holy crap dude this scooter is crazy let's see if we can like drag rate this this guy nice ride man nice ride thanks man that thing's fast yeah it is show me how fast that is oh he won't do it he doesn't want to be responsible come on now people wo 52 I wanted to hit 60 and I know it can I just keep running out regardless oh man that freaking bottle dude holy crap good thing I wasn't going 60 for that one look at this bottle dude that's just the thing about these scooters is like crap dude all right one more run on this thing for an acceleration run top speed run I think everything's unlocked got a little run out ready go spinning 30 4 five my god dude this thing is ridiculous 54 wo 55 56 58 59 give me 60 holy crap 50 oh my God oh my God oh dude I didn't see 60 quite hit on the GPS but holy freaking crap dude this is this is the fastest electric scooter I've ever tried man not sure why anybody would want to go 60 but this thing Zips dude as we like to say on this channel it's got the juice so let's talk about the actual like riding dynamics of this scooter a bit this one has the twist throttle a lot of these have like a trigger finger which I don't really love the trigger finger I think that the twist throttle on this is probably a little bit better on aou couple of the other scooters I've rode um I actually had you know like my little glove pull thing here get caught on the trigger finger so they can be a little bit dangerous if you have this kind of glove anyway and then this one also has cruise control and you can adjust that regen brake it's on 50% right now maybe we can try and dial that up to 100 see how that feels I do not know what the ipx rating of this scooter is but I will not be risking it today well I wasn't planning on doing off-road test on this thing today because it does not have na'vi rad tires at all but we could try these street tires riding out here just a little bit it is full suspension so we're doing all right here this thing's not meant to be riding in the grass really though I'd have to say these uh 3.5 in street tires do feel great on the street though let's get into the regen brake settings and crank it on up to 100% on both the front and rear so I like that you can do it for each motor individually and give this thing just a little bit of a brake test here so regen break gone 100% for each motor now uh mode one here just going up to about 20 and then I'll just pull in the brakes lightly yeah that regen brake just brings it to stop real quick that wasn't even using any of the friction pads so you can definitely save yourself on the friction pads as well as put a little bit of juice back in that battery style it up just a bit more oh oh my goodness I love that you can dial the power down so much on this thing honestly it's just really excessive but tap on these brakes yeah that was all uh regen brake but of course you could use the regen brake in combination with the friction pads and you know they're hydraulic brakes so these are legit man let get a couple quick flybys here this thing is just comically fast man so we're going to get out of the beach and get on up to the top of that Cliff there we'll take the California incline like usual check out the C truck but today we're going to get out here on the actual Road and from a dig at the bottom of the California incline let's just give it a full rip here see what we can hit going up 35 40 45 and on board showing 49 wo my goodness dude the craziest thing about this scooter is like people just don't expect to see a scooter with this sort of performance capabilities and I love that this thing actually has like adjustable height handlebars on it oh cyber truck again we saw him earlier so this thing can easily fit Riders of like different heights I like them on the tallest settings personally they're perfect for me then also that suspension you can kind of like dial that into like different riding Heights as well this is a little dangerous bro Meep is he beeping at me bro I think there's a dude behind me wants the race or something I think I heard him say man this car sucks I wish I had that scooter bro all right dude just rolling back into the neighborhood here 72 Vols 40 amp battery pack we are showing uh three bars remaining on the Range and I mean this thing still feels freaking peppy as heck dude uh let's see where we are on the actual range uh 21 1/2 miles average speed 15 M an hour hour and 26 minutes ride time so final thoughts on the in motion RS I mean obviously this thing is an absolutely ridiculous electric scooter and if you got four grand to spend on one I'd highly
