I don't believe in the whole well everyone has a right to freedom of speech [Music] [Music] the vast vast majority of you will not know who this gentleman is and you will never hear from him again but this is infinite retro The Reader's Digest biography would be that he's some nobody on the Internet he is a callous and angry man jealous of the success that others enjoy that he could never know he is a pitiable sort he has a YouTube channel one that is as forgettable and uninteresting as he is some of you though might recognize the face and the name to go with it because if you do remember him then chances are you remembering laughing at him as he was the butt of a joke a joke of his own design in fact now a while back infinite retro decided that his quickest way to fame and notoriety would be to slander myself bullet bury fring II for tango plays and top hats and champagne claiming that we were buying subscribers that we were all frauds that we were fakes and charlatans you might notice that his list of videos is quite small but it didn't always used to be that way in the live stream itself that I did where we debated him made a fool of him you can see that his channel was much much more content rich you can even see the video he made about s buying views subs atop bullet for tanga story of rags to frauds this video full of slander and lies in conjecture and outright defamation it seems to be gone this video along with many others seems to have made itself scarce perhaps he's not quite the man that he fancies himself to be but I have nothing to hide so I will let you decide that for yourselves and finit retro has a bone to pick with me now while I believe that infinite retro is good for basically nothing it's also true that everyone can profit from a bad example and I understand I've been away for quite some time I've been you see I've been cleaning my own room in a manner of speaking and as for my return to YouTube well I believe infinite's abortion of an upload will serve as an excellent springboard to propel me back into action so consider this my video response to I took down the Big Dawg the one douche ring has been destroyed and I must admit off the bat I think this is a very unusual title especially when you consider that for someone who's taken down and destroyed and so I went ahead and I checked myself late and even though I haven't uploaded content in a month I've gained ten thousand subscribers and then I went to check yours because I mean I was there might as well and I want to see how great the guy who destroyed me is doing but surely he's kicking it way into overdrive because after all he did take down the Big Dawg I'm not saying that just because I get more subs than him means I'm better what I'm saying is that if this is what it's like to get destroyed well it's honestly not that bad keep up the good work infinite retro you're showing me what a manly man I know I'm sorry I've been stalling too much let's move right into it yet I find it ever so odd infinite retro that if what I do is classify it as attacking other people then what is this video that you're making here supposed to be called well I guess all of us viewers can decide for ourselves if this video of yours is considered hateful or attacking my name on this particular day is comma because well you're a nobody and people love me so maybe there is some kind of universal justice after all I never much liked the idea of karma a lot of us find some sort of catharsis and the idea that well people get what's coming to them but we don't like to think about the gets one of these right it was mass flagging that got my Twitter suspended it was you plus all of the other cowards who couldn't compete with me toe-to-toe and from behind their blocks decided to accounts that I have ever flagged on Twitter were child porn accounts and I know it's not very progressive of me to be against child pornography but I have to keep reminding myself that I'm the bad one a while ago when we were getting all into it I kept a close eye on him and it seems I've been living rent-free inside of infinite retros head for quite some time that's not healthy retro you should learn to let go so how he was how he conduct himself in fact how him and his whole little trope of fucking retards that decide to attack people all the time and belittle them I only take responsibility for the things that I do and I have no control over other people and at the beginning of each and every one of my videos I'm pretty clear and leave no room for ambiguity in fact it would not be difficult to find many examples of me publicly telling people not to go after attack or harass others but you retro just like all the others have a narrative to push a story to tell what's true what's false those are just inconsequential details after all this isn't about true at least not for you this is about defamation slander character assassination besides it's not very nice to attack and harass other people by calling them retards don't you think or is it only harassment when other people do it hmm Food for Thought isn't it and don't care about whether or not or how these people are affected well that's not a very honest thing to say of course I care to varying degrees caring is on a spectrum just like my fans apparently retro I could not fathom to begin to remember how many times I've told others not to flag or report or censor other people you see the consequence of putting something on the Internet is that other people can publicly criticize it and how those people deal with aforementioned criticism is their business and not mine my stance on such issues has been the same as it has always been perhaps you did not get the memo now I've always said that these people let's move that over there see my pretty face I've always said that these people are responsible for their fanbase now I saw a youtuber the other day what we're gonna do now is pause that there and mull over this dumb shit that you just said I said it before and I'll say it again I'm only responsible for the things that I do I am NOT responsible for the actions of other people it would be insane to assume that I bore the burden of responsibility for things that other people did I have no control over the actions of others I can influence them absolutely I can persuade them sure and you know you might have a point if I was actively encouraging others or trying to persuade them to go out and attack and harass people but as I've said time and time and time again ad nauseam at this point that I do the exact opposite I tell people over and over and over not just in general on videos that I do but on social media in discord in emails here and there and everywhere I tell people do not report channels do not flag posts do not D platform do not censor these are the actions of cowards and people who cannot stand up for their own positions these are the things that people do when they are afraid and when they are weak I don't want it to happen to me I don't want it to happen to you I don't want it to happen to people because of their opinions I know that you might not feel the same way I know that those crazy SJW furry types on the Twitter don't feel the same way either but you see I do believe in the right to free speech and not just in the legal sense I mean the spirit of free speech I mean the concept I mean the principle people should be able to speak their opinions aloud without fear of being suppressed and silenced these are the tools of cowards and I am NOT amongst their number you could try and paint me as a monster because of this it only makes you look all the more foolish and maybe you think that outright saying that not everybody should have speech is a good look maybe to you it is but for the rest of civilized society especially those of us who live in the real world that's not quite the case you say that these people people like me are responsible for their fan bases now I'm not certain how stupid you may or may not be though I could certainly take my guesses but how the hell could that possibly work in reality every person who has an audience of any size in any kind is culpable for anything that one person in their audience does as if people who actually do have audiences I know you don't quite understand what that concept is but it's as if you think that I have some sort of a mind-control ability over other people humans at least in my estimate they have free will they can make decisions what they do is their responsibility now I agree with the idea that if you do have a large audience of people or really any audience of people you should not condone or encourage harassment against other people you should not get people to go on witch hunts you should not send them like a mob towards someone else if PewDiePie for instance told all of his YouTube subscribers to go to somebody else's Channel and report them fraudulently then yes he would be responsible for encouraging that behavior I don't think he would be responsible for the actual actions taken though because he didn't do them but that is clearly not something that I'm doing and it's clearly not something that I am encouraging of people what you're proposing is a set of rules that would make having an audience of any size a liability in Retro you're never gonna have to worry about the you know responsibility of having an audience but assuming one day somebody actually was a fan of yours they could go and do something and it wouldn't be in your name and yet you would be responsible for it after all it's part of your audience if they do something bad and they're part of your audience that means that well you're the one who has to get raked over the coals for it they're your audience after all if I get a comment on one of my videos or on my social media and they're from your videos well I guess that gives me proper license to flag you down as well right the rules that you're attempting to apply to other people they'll destroy you too I don't know why you would ever propose them I don't have mind control powers I can't control what other people do to think so is asinine it is ridiculous in every sense of the meaning only a child would think that I should be held responsible for anything that is done by a member of my audience there is a reason that your only purpose on the internet retro is to be laughed at as the bad example that you are and that is why that here in this debate link in the description that we all have with you after you slander and attack us we make an absolute fool out of you in front of everyone to see because you have the mind of a child I've always said that these people are responsible for their fanbase now I saw a youtuber the other day who was doing a coverage on some idiocy when it came to console gaming and you know what he did I have no idea what did he do he blocked out the name and that was it he didn't show the video he just showed the comment or he just you know that sort of thing and that is within his right do so if he chooses however if he was to be accused of faking the image if somebody was to make an accusation that he was being disingenuous that he was editing information well if there was no way to verify the source material he would not be able to defend himself from that accusation now he shouldn't have to of course the burden of proof is on the accuser making the claim and people are innocent until proven guilty but oftentimes you might one day find that being preemptive is beneficial just like every video that I do I say I have provided a link to the original video for the purposes of verification and to allow those who wish to provide their own constructive criticism to do so while I have no control over the feedback others choose to provide I'd kindly ask that you avoid any forms of harassment or abuse if somebody makes a response video to me I want them to link to my video I want the viewers of both my channel and theirs to be able to verify that everything that they have presented is not being taken out of context when I link to my source in a video that I produce it isn't there to protect me it's to protect them as well I don't want to take people out of context I don't want to be seen as somebody who does that and if I do well I want people to tell me I don't want videos of mine to be up there floating about into perpetuity as far as I know to reflect poorly upon my character and that's exactly what needs to happen so that way you can critique people's stuff without making them feel like they're gonna be attacked because I'll tell you what I'll certainly note what infinite retro says should be done I'll definitely take that into consideration going forward absolutely but what an adult on the Internet feels about my criticism is unfortunately to you at least not my problem I know it might sound on the surface like I'm a bit heartless but adults are adults and they should behave as such but hey remember when I did a response video to this young guy he did a consoles are better than PC gaming video and since he was very very young and he wasn't coming from a place of malice or respect just from a place of ignorance I decided to use his video in order to dispel that ignorance to teach people about why I believed PC gaming was better and not console gaming he's very young and I didn't put the link to that source in my description I found a video that a very young person made about why console gaming was better than PC gaming it didn't make much sense and it was obvious he didn't know really anything about the PC as a gaming platform however his arguments were very basic and easy to refute and are probably among the most common arguments you see out there so it was worth addressing them and you want to know what I said in that video retro well I'm gonna tell you anyway because it makes you look like a fucking idiot but hey nothing out of the ordinary right alrighty this is gonna be a response video however there's gonna be something different about this one namely you'll notice in the description there is no original video posted as a source the reason for this is because this guy well he's a kid he's like 12 years old or something I don't know he's young he's a kid he made a video to prove why consoles are better than the PC but he has absolutely no idea what he's talking about he is immensely misinformed he has absolutely no grasp of the discussion however as I watched his video when I stumbled across it I'm not gonna say it's necessarily his fault like I said he's super young in the points that he makes they're just based on ignorance he doesn't know he hasn't been told he hasn't looked into it the points themselves well they're pretty obviously wrong and I think they're good points to go over they're very basic very obvious but like I said he's like 12 years old there's no link in the description to the original video that's by design I don't want you looking for this video I don't want you if you find it to post links about it I don't want you to spread it I don't want you to go to his video and dislike it if you leave a comment it better be constructive and supportive I don't want that I actually attain if I acquire them if I bleed them that's not my decision to make now I can attempt at my best to influence that I can try to get people to subscribe and if I wanted to I could do my best to make people unsubscribe but ultimately that would be the decision of every individual clutch save to make each individual person just like them being in a group or being in my audience they operate without my control I can influence them I can suggest that they do things I can try and convince them of certain things but ultimately each one of them operates as an individual with freewill philosophical arguments aside for now ultimately the amount of subscribers that I have and the subscribers of the people I choose to respond to has no bearing whatsoever over whether or not I'm correct or I'm wrong it has nothing to do with the truth of the matter and I am not particularly fond of the notion that if somebody has a certain level of subscribers namely a low one that it should make them immune to all sorts of criticism if you say something stupid or if you say something wrong I don't care how many views you have I don't care how many subscribers you have I very well have every right to respond to it it's a ridiculous idea to say just because someone has a certain level of subscribers a completely arbitrary amount that no doubt you will never let us know in your world I'm certain goal posts are mobile things but what would that level be is it a hundred two hundred two thousand twenty thousand is it relative to where I am am I only allowed to respond to people if they have a certain percentage of my subscribers if I get so popular one day that I get a million subs am I allowed to respond to anybody when I began my channel everybody I responded to practically had a higher subscriber count than me would they not be allowed to respond to my response I mean let's look at this video I'm responding to you you have 300 or so subscribers and you're a well I'm not gonna say man you're a you're an adult human male should I not be allowed to make this video I have way more subs than you could ever hope to have so what I should just take it I should not be allowed to respond you should just be able to say anything you wish to me with total impunity I've already proved to you in this video that I can impose discretion whenever I deal with particular individuals but but the idea that I'm not allowed to respond or critique other people based on arbitrary numbers that I have no personal control over yeah fuck that noise I will respond to whoever I please and you will do as you always have done you will watch from the sidelines and you will look up to your betters you will watch me enjoying my success my audience my accomplishments and you will wish in your heart of hearts that you could be as talented and capable as I am but look at how pathetic your life has become you think it is a mark of pride that you were able to flag somebody's twitter account that is your great accomplishment that's what your life has built up to maybe the worst thing of it all is that you lack the capacity to understand how pathetic that is swell amazing guy and look if you want to be pragmatic about it this is making me money to do I mean if you want to look at this from a purely cynical perspective if you really really hate me then why would you go online make a fool of yourself give me something that's fun to do and then understand that it makes me money I don't know maybe you consider this a moral victory if you're that disillusioned by yourself I'm not sure maybe you are I mean it's like what do you want to go on the kumite is that what you want do you want to have a little internet back and forth is that your deal huh I just don't know man I can't figure you out in a strange way I mean surely you can't just be that pathetic but maybe I just can't fathom it because I have pride and self esteem maybe I just can't wrap my mind around somebody like you I just hope that I don't end up like you have clearly turned out something broke along the way and I hope that I can keep myself together and one way to help me keep things together is to support me on patreon now that I'm going full-time online the generosity of people in my audience who enjoy my content and want to support me will ultimately be a even more important driving factor in my success similarly I am about to launch a discord channel that I will make public soon it is soft launching right now so I could test it and make sure all the bells and whistles are in order now I'm not entirely certain what the plan will be though I'm leaning towards having the discord server public in having the voice chat or certain voice chats be for patrons who support me and exclusive lobbies and things of that nature though anyone will be able to contact me as they always have been on my youtube channel under the community tag there I've made a post regarding it so give me your feedback I want to hear what you think while I have always been reachable one way or another for everybody I would like to give people who support me financially especially now that this is going to be my job some extra privileges maybe some easier access to chatting with me as a show of my appreciation to them for helping me make this a viable career path I
